Sapphirestar noticed that Moonclaw was a little uncomfortable. I forgot Bellpaw had said that she hadn't told him... she reminded herself. The flame solored she-cat fell silent again. "Moonclaw, have you received a dream from StarClan lately?" she finally mewed. Maybe that would clarify things a little more.

Bellpaw shivered at the thought of her dreams then heard Moonclaw say private. "I-i can go... its ok. Id acctualy rather not hear what he has to say if he has to say it private." The apprentice said mumbly and was shaking but tried not to shake as much. She had lost so much in the past. Her brother her mother her father. What else could she lose. She would not lose her clan and it would be hard but she would try.

Sapphirestar rested the tip of her tail on Bellpaw's shoulder. "Whatever happens, someone wil always be there for you" she whispered, a glint of StarClan in her eyes, before smiling gently and softly pushing her towards the den's entrance, with a gentle lick on the ear. "It will not be long" she promised. "How about you go eat something? You look awfully shaky" she suggested.

Bellpaw nodded to her leader, when she mentioned food Bellpaws stomache growled. "Yes I do feel hungry. When your done I will probaly be in the the medicine cats den cheacking our herb supply." and with that she left.

Sapphirestar followed the apprentice with her eyes, a mysterious half-smile on her face, and then whipped around to pace back to her nest. "Well, we are alone. Now you tell me your dream" she mewed to Moonclaw.

"It was all dark at first...then large, cat-like claws flashed in my dream. dream. The claws came down on some cats body, but I'm not sure which cat, or from what clan...."he shivered at the next thought. "And they tore through that cat like a leaf....The cat also looked up at me, with pleading eyes...I've never felt so helpless in all my life, Sapphirestar," he explained very quietly, and quickly.
His stomach also growled at the thought of food, and he felt like he wanted to just curl up into his den, and sleep for a moon.

Sapphirestar sat wide-eyed for a heartbeat before composing herself once more. She shivered as she pictured the event. What beast could be so cruel and have such a force? A beast made of darkness... a beast capable of destroying life with a flick of a paw...
"What shoulde we do?" she mewed, horrified by the visions. "The menace is pressing, but we don't know what it could be, or when it would come... give me council, my wise medicine cat. Should we alarm the cats and double the patrols right away for something that might never come, or should we wait and see?"

[here I come to post away!! lol]
Amberpaw bounced into the leader's den, her blue eyes gleaming with joy. "Hi Sapphirestar!," She mewed happily. The apprentice stopped abruptly as she noticed all of the cats in the den. "Ohh...am I interupting something?," She asked, flattening her ears in embarrassment. "I just wanted to know if there was anything I could do..." Amberpaw shuffled her paws on the ground, lost at what to say next.

((Ooc: I'm still very sorry for my inactiveness....)) Moonclaw looked toawrds Amberpaw when she bounced in, not able to reply to what Sapphirestar had said. "Well, you are interrupting something, but we were almost done anyway, Amberpaw," he told her. "But, I'm not sure if you can help with anything right now..."
He turned to Sapphirestar and shook his head slowly, so that Amberpaw couldn't see it, and awnsering her question. "Well, I'm going to go back to my den, so goodbye," he said as he walked out of Sapphirestar's den. |

Willowbreeze watched Moonclaw go then approached Sapphirestar. She hadnt heard anything. `do we start the patrol now`she asked her leader.

Sapphirestar looked on until the medicine cat had disappeared from her view before looking back. Her deep blue eyes glowed in the dim light of the den. She smiled and turned to Amberpaw.
"It seams that my little apprentice has decided to show up!" she meowed, a smile playing at the corner of her mouth. "Thank you of your patience, Willowbreeze. Amberpaw, you are required for a border patrol" She padded to the entrance of her den and emerged in the brilliant morning sunlight. Sapphire reflections danced on the beautiful she-cat's flame-colored coat. Sapphirestar beckoned to the two cats. "Let's get this patrol on the move!" She flicked her tail, leaped down the Highledge and trotted through the tunnel and out of the camp.
TO:: Patrolling (WC border... or somewhere around there)
