Lionclaw padded out of the RiverClan camp, swift on his paws even when he wasn't running. As he walked along he glanced around, unwilling to run into a bagder. His side protested slightly as he walked along to remindhim of what a bagder could do, or what it might've done to shorten his life. He brushed the thought away easily and slowed his pace a bit, still walking though. "Anyone smell anything?" he asked the two behind him as he knew they were heading towards the WindClan border. He never trusted WindClan much, always a little short tempered around them more then the other Clans.

Whitedawn's ears stood up, and his started sniffing. "No, Lionclaw nothing" he meowed trying to regain his reputation that he somehow just lost. He didn't even know what he did. "I don't see and WindClan" he said with a snort. "Where do you think those badgers are off to next?" he asked his deputy with respect. His tail flicked toward the ThunderClan border, then too the ShadowClan. "Nope" he meowed. He sheathed his claws that he had unsheathed on the way there, just incase a badger attack, or another Clan.

Cherrysky shook her head at the deputy's question, her emerald eyes still annoyed. "I don't smell anything Lionclaw," She replied, glancing toward the WindClan boarder. Things had been oddly quiet lately...it made the warrior uneasy. She padded after Lionclaw and the others, her mind slightly wandering. Badgers the only word Cherrysky caught in the tom's sentence. It made her shiver as violent, repressed memories seeped through the mental wall she used to block out the unpleasant memories. That's the last thing I want to talk about... She thought, her mind blocking out the pain and the tom again. It was easier just to ignore everyone rather then to join in the conversation.

"Excuse me.. I don't feel so well... I better go see.. Ugh" he grunted. "I.. I -have to go... Bye" he grunted again, sad that he had to leave the patrol. He slowly trotted back to camp coughing and weezing

The spotted she-cat let out an irritated hiss as soon as Whitedawn was out of ear shot. "Ugh! So annoying!," She growled, her claws digging into the ground. She let out a heavy sigh and ruffled her fur to shake off her bad mood, unusual for the normally calm, gentle she-cat. If there was one thing the she-cat couldn't stand was cats being disrespectful and rude. No need to start a fight now... She told herself, taking a deep breath to calm herself more. Her emerald eyes flickered to Lionclaw, glowing with a less irritated vibe. "So now where to?," She asked, curiously. Preferably somewhere outside of camp... She thought. The last thing she wanted was to run into Whitedawn again. Just the sound of his voice made Cherrysky want to claw his face off.
[Curious, any reason this thread is in the RC camp and not the RC territory?]

Lionclaw listened as they said they didn't smell anything. It was true, nothing was scented in the air expcept the sweet scent of their own territory. The Deputy listened as the younger warrior asked were the bagders were off to next. He shrugged his shoulders up. "StarClan knows," he said softly, glancing at the scar left on him from the last time he'd seen a bagder. He'd killed it after fighting for his life. Now he looked back ahead of him, wanting to take a run, but held himself back since he was with others. He watched as Whitedawn said he was leaving and felt some concern for the warrior as he padded away. He looked to Cherrysky as he heard her irritated hiss and words that she spat out. He couldn't help, but twitch his whiskers with amusement. The warrior would learn when to speak and when not to, eventually. He looked around when Cherrysky asked were to now. His eyes looked towards the distance were the WindClan territory was and looked to Cherrysky. "Let's go patrol the WindClan border," he suggested, started to move swiftly towards it.

Attempting to relax a little more, Cherrysky smiled and padded after Lionclaw. Her emerald eyes didn't give anything away. She was still extremely irritated with Whitedawn... She had never liked him as an apprentice; he had been to stuck up and headstrong for his own good. Now that he was a warrior, it made things worse. There was no escaping the tom, with his irritating voice and his rude, outspoken-ness. Cherrysky shook with anger as she felt the need to claw at something. It wasn't like her to feel like this...usually, she was a very non-violent person.

Pricking his ears, Redmist heard a call for patrol. He was outside of the camp at the moment, but the call still reached his large ears. Mousedung! The large ginger tom cat thought to himself as he saw the patrol start to leave as he raced into the RiverClan camp. "Wait!" Tail streaming behind him, Redmist caught up as Cherrysky and Lionclaw walked slowly toward the entrance of the camp. Let's patrol the WindClan border. The ginger warrior heard him say. Panting, he slowed his pace to wave to his tail at the two warriors. "I'll come with you." He told them, following them out immediately. [/color][/blockquote]

The fur on Cherrysky's neck rose as she heard a tom's voice call from behind them. "I sware!," She growled, rounding on the tom that came from behind them. Who in StarClan's name did he think he was!? "You are the most self obsorbant--" She broke off suddenly, her ears pulsing as she realized it wasn't Whitedawn at all. The spotted she-cat paused for a moment, feeling awkward for yelling at Redmist when he hadn't even done anything. "Sorry Red," She mewed, grinning sheepishly. "I thought you were someone else..." It was true though, she had been so focused on trying to ignore Whitedawn's rudeness toward Crystalstar, she hadn't noticed Redmist's voice....which sounded totally different from the screach-like voice she usually heard from Whitedawn.

Redmist stared at Cherrysky is surprise, his green eyes stretched wide. The spotted tabby she-cat let out her rage on him, and the ginger tom sunk his claws into the wet ground as if he were getting ready for an attack. Redmist's ginger tail flicked on the round curiously as Cherrysky lashed out at him, but h held back the question of whom she was mad at and why. "It's okay, Cherrysky, it happens." Breathing deeply, and letting his eyes return to normal size, the ginger warrior took a pace forward and asked; "Can we get going?" White whiskers twitched, Redmist wanted to go, but Lionclaw needed to agree to his coming.

[Since Cherrysky is being transfered to TC, I need to pull her out of this thread. If anyone wants more details on this, feel free to pm me on Dreamstar's account.]
Cherrysky twitched her tail uneasily. "Actually, the patrol was meant to be only for two cats," She replied, somewhat sheepishly. She looked back up at Redmist and smiled as convincingly as she could manage. "But that's ok, you can go instead of me." The spotted she-cat turned back to camp, feeling oddly empty. "I'll see you around." It didn't sound as happy as she would have liked, but Cherrysky didn't care at the moment. Without waiting for a response, she padded off toward the RiverClan camp, her paws growing heavy.
