"Whitedawn, Sunstream. I need you to help Arrowheart to the nursery. I will take her kit." Meowed Stormpaw, and Whitedawn quickly nodded, and pressed up against Arrowheart, he spoke in short and deep breathes, "It'll be okay, Arrowheart, there beautiful kits," he went on, " Sunstream might have her kits soon, I just can't wait" he whispered to her with pride, a tear falling from the emerald orbs. The deputy closed his eyes, the emerald gaze had left. Now just a pale color, he opened his eyes. He felt a powerful pride, and he smiled..

[/b] She asked, her eyes closed as her head dropped onto the soft moss of her nest. There was only one. That shook Arrowheart with a pang of sadness. But it was also good news. She had only one naughty youngster to look after and give her entire heart to. Yes. She already knew the kit's name. Horizonkit. Before it was born she knew it's name. Because of what Soaringflame had told her that one afternoon. His words rang in her head. 'Remember at the gathering? That new ThunderClan warrior's name? Horizonflight. . . isn't that pretty? And such meaning to it! Like a song, or something. I really do love the horizon, it's so alluring. . .'That was how he began the conversation that he was leaving. Arrowheart thought it was a phase, a childish fancy that would pass. So she played along with him. Pretending that he was going to race with her out to the horizon. But it wasn't a game. That's what broke her heart. No. Arrowheart pushed away the memories. You have Redmist now. He's your prince.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/ul][/size]

"Where is my kit?" Arrowheart had asked. Stormpaw stood up and pointed to Shadepaw near the entrance of the nursery. "Shadepaw has been giving your kit a thorough wash over to keep her warm." Stormpaw told her gently. "Shadepaw, could you bring Arrowheart her kit?" She asked him. "Breezepaw, you can give Arrowheart that poppy seed now." Stormpaw turned back to Arrowheart. "You need to get rest. If you would like to name your kit now, you may. But take the poppy seed when you are done and get a good nights rest. You'll need it for taking care of your kit." Stormpaw smiled at Arrowheart.
"I need to go back to my den for a little. I will be right back. Arrowheart, I don't want you getting up. If you need anything have an apprentice or warrior come to fetch me." Stormpaw meowed to Arrowheart. She looked at her one last time then slowly walked to the medicine cats den, looking back every now and then to make sure Arrowheart was ok. She took a deep breath. Everything is going to be fine, besides the kit is healthy and Arrowheart is too. The hard part is over. She kept telling herself while she was on her way to her den.

Shadepaw looked up at the mention of his name. "Shadepaw, could you bring Arrowheart her kit?" he heard Stormpaw ask him. "'Kay," he replied, a bit embarressed. He stood and stretched out some, before he bent down and picked up the tiny kit. He padded even-paced over to Arrowheart. "Here's the little fighter," he said with a smile as he placed the kit in front of the Turkish Van queen. "I need to go back to my den for a little." Stormpaw's words caught his attention. He watched after his newly-found friend padded away, then turned back to Arrowheart. "I'm gonna go, too. See ya, Arrowheart!" he called over his shoulder as he bounded out of the nursery.

A small, helpless mew rose from the throat of the small kit. The warm, comforting sensation that had been next to her moments ago was gone...and it was cold. Where was her mother? A panicked mew rose from her throat, fear gripping at the small kit's mind. She tried to escape the tounge that was attempting to warm her, but failed when she didn't have the strength to push back. She didn't want this- she wanted her mother. She wanted the warm comforting fur next to her, and something to make the clawing feeling in her stomach go away. The small kit didn't know what half of the things she wanted were called, or what they were. But right now, she did know the one thing she wanted. Another mew rose from her throat, this one more helpless then the first.

Sunstream ended up just following Arrowheart to her den, Whitedawn seemed to carry her well enough. Everyone had stressful thoughts but the ginger warriors were somewhere else, nowhere really. "Oh yes, beautiful kits." she agreed. Her eyes tuirned to Whitedawn. "Right... our kits." she said. Her stomache had gotten larger. Though, she knew she wasn't that near to birthing, she wasn't nearly as large as Arrowheart had been and she had only had one kit. Sunstream sighed, clearly not in the best mood anymore. Worry filled her head worry about nothing, maybe this was a motherly instinct? Or, maybe not. ((Hmm... I'm gonna make my sister do Ivory's bio then I shall have them born)) [/blockquote]

Now... Now.... I must go talk to Crystalstar... Whitedawn looked around, and nodded to the remaining cats near him, "I must talk to Crystalstar, now." he murmured, his emerald eyes seeming to fade. The white deputy leapt up to the highrock, Entering her den..[/color]

[/b] she trailed off, not saying her kit's full name. Horizon truly was beautiful, meaning and sound. [/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] ((Hey, Cherry, I'm going to wait until the badgers attack to post next. . . and when they do we can say Horizonkit is three moons.))
