It had been a while, too long, since Crystalstar had seen her Clan. She missed the smiling faces, although she knew they weren't too far away. The sliver lynx couldn't take it much longer, and leapt to the rock, heart heavy. This was long overdue. It was time to upgrade all of the kits to apprentices, and apprentices to warriors, and give her loyal warriors a firm pat on the back. "Let all RiverClan cats old enough to catch their own prey join together for a meeting of the Clan. All kits of six moons are to attend as well."
Heart thudding, as the new leader waited, she looked up to the sky, wondering where her former leader was. Her strength and guidance was sure needed now, and she missed her old friend. They had been lucky enough to escape death with the badgers, but the silver leader hoped that her luck wouldn't turn now when the future seemed even more ominous. Please StarClan, may my Clan be safe. If need be, take me nine times to save nine of my warriors. [/sup]

A spotted she-cat emerged out of the warrior's den, her glossy coat glowing in the soft mid morning sun. She gave a small stretch, wincing slightly as her side ached from the recent badger tangle. The she-cat shuddered as she remembered and pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind. Today was not a day that she wanted to wallow.
Cherrysky looked over to Crystalstar and smiled, padding slowly toward the Riverstone. "Hey Crystalstar," She greeted, her emerald eyes shinning joyfully. It had been a while since she had talked to the RiverClan leader. After the trip back from WindClan, the spotted warrior had spent a lot of time recovering in the warriors den, very rarely coming out. Now that she was feeling better, Cherrysky wanted to get out of the den and stretch her legs. "I'm feeling a lot better," She commented, grinning up at the leader. "I was wondering if I could go on a patrol when the gathering was over." A patrol of any kind sounded good right about now. Just what she needed to get back into the swing of things.

Sunpaw padded out of the apprentices den. Arching her back and yawning. She had taken a nap after everything that had happened. Shaking scraps of moss off of her pelt she sat down underneath the Riverstone. She wondered when Spiritpaw would come out she had dozed off with the ginger apprentice a while ago too. She might have not been in the battle but she had seemed tired too. She wasn't sure but there was a feeling telling her that they might become warriors today.

[Lionclaw can take an apprentice. Can Spiritpaw be named... Spiritheart?]
Lionclaw and Spiritpaw had just gotten into camp, dropping some fish into the fresh kill pile when Crystalstar announced a Clan Meeting. Lionclaw had been trying to exersize his side that had been scratched up badly by the bagder. Much of his fur was still missing from the long claw mark and he knew the nasty scar that would be left by the powerful bagder that he had killed by himself. He took a deep breath, shoulder still sore. Spiritpaw was worried for her deputy and helped him exersize his shoulder by having him take her hunting. Spiritpaw walked over to Sunpaw, taking a place next to the apprentice she was friends with. "I wonder if we're gonna become warriors today," she said excitedly, her eyes shining with happiness. Lionclaw greeted Sunpaw with a nod before walked over to sit below the Riverstone. He had gotten there just in time to hear Cherrysky's question. "I'll go too," he offered, hoping to excersize his sides more and spend some time with Cherrysky.
[Reffy - Sorry about not switching accounts, but me and Lune still share a compy.]
Silverfur's silver tabby fur seemed to blend in with the dim light in her den. She was sorting some herbs when her ear pricked to hear Crystalstar. She sighed and padded out of her den. She took a place between her den and the Riverstone, ready to go back to her den once the gathering was done. Were was Featherpaw? Silverfur looked for the apprentice, hoping the young medicine cat would make it in time.

Cherrysky's emerald eyes shot up at the familiar voice. "I wouldn't mind the company," She commented, giving the deputy a smile. There was something in his tone that she couldn't put her paw on...something different. She kept her face in the same joyful composer as she turned her gaze to Lionclaw again, trying to pick out the tone. But after a moment of thinking, the spotted warrior's mind glanced over it quickly, moving on to other things. It probably wasn't that important, She thought, looking back up at Crystalstar.

Crystalstar stood up, letting out a throaty purr as she saw her old friend. Her silver eyes grew gentle and concerned while looking at her, but still, the spotted warrior looked good. "I'm glad to hear it, Cherrysky. You wouldn't mind leading a patrol?" she confirmed, still concerned. However, she saw Sunpaw, Spiritpaw, Silverfur, and Lionclaw slowly entering, and she let her worries go. "Thanks, Lionclaw. We just need to wait for a few more cats, then we can begin." her silver eyes, which once contained all guilt imaginable, were now sparkling with admiration for her Clan. Purring, she waved her tail, moving it in and out of the wind. [/sup]

Sunpaw purred as her denmate came over. "Hope that fish is for me!" she said cheerfully and licked her lips. "I haven't eaten in moons." she said exaggeratingly. I wonder if were gonna be warriors today. she had been thinking the same thing a moment ago. "Hope so!" she said, amiling at her friend. Sunpaw had been very upbeat today. She didn't know why but she didn't really care either. She nodded as her deputy walked by. "I'm exited." she said mainly to herself and shuffled in anticipation.

(I'M HERE I'M HERE!!)
Featherpaw ran out of the medicine cat's den. She had dozed off because of helping everybody. She lightly skidded to a halt beside Silverfur. Sorry I'm late. She turned her head to Crystalstar and waited for her to begin.

With the arrival of her last cat, Crystalstar looked on proudly at RiverClan below her. Every single cat had given it's utter energy and skill into this tough time, and Crystalstar could not let it pass. "RiverClan. I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of you, from the smallest kit to the oldest warrior. These are times of great difficulty, I know, but StarClan has blessed us with skilled Medicine Cats and few injuries. They have given us energy in our bones and strength in our hearts, and I am proud to be here among you. Even though the badgers still threaten our home, we shall persevere and battle our way to victory! But in order for us to win, due notice must be given. Sunpaw, Spiritpaw, will you join me?" She waved her tail beside her on the rock, waiting for the two apprentices to come up. These two deserved to be warriors twice over, and RiverClan would eternally benefit. [/sup]

Featherpaw relaxed as now cat chastised her about her tardiness. She watched on at the two apprentices with a smile on her face. They had deserved it. Then, with a sudden pang of realiztion, she noticed that she wished it was her up there. Going to receive her name infront of all the clans. Instead, she would have a more private ceremony among the other medidince cats. She let out a silent sigh and barely payed attention to what was going on. Her eyes were glazed over in thought, not noticing anything or anybody.

Lionclaw looked up to Crystalstar and listened intently. As she talked about the bagders he slightly winced at the memory of killing one off himself. He had nearly received fatal wounds from being clawed severely. He glanced at his now-healing wounds, knowing scars would forever remind him of this battle. With each scar that formed came a memory and all those memories would be with him forever, even in StarClan after his death. He blinked twice, realizing with a slight spark that the two apprentices would become warriors today. He looked to Spiritpaw and Sunpaw, his eyes sparkling as they always did at a naming ceremony. Spiritpaw felt excitment prickle through her and she walked up to the rock, pouncing up to sit beside Crystalstar on the Riverstone as she had insisted. The excitment glowed in her light blue eyes that reflected the sunlight. She couldn't wait to receive her name and sit vigil for the night.
Silverfur nodded a greeting to her apprentice as she bounded up and smiled a small, catish smile. Shelistened to Crystalstar, her tail wrapped around her paws still. She could sense a wave of emotion coming from Featherpaw as the two warrior apprentices were invited up to the Riverstone. Silverfur could sense how she felt. Silverfur, when she had first became Silverpaw after being a kittypet had always wanted to have her naming ceremony in front of the Clan and couldn't see why Medicine Cats were to do it in private. But when she had gotten her medicine cat name she was glad to have gotten it in front of StarClan themselves.
