Silverpaw padded around the Medicine cat den, checking all the herbs, they were all ok, so she didn't have anything to do. The silver pelted she-cat sighed and sat down, looking out of the den and towards the camp, Wow it's quiet today... she thought. The apprentice felt lonely and didn't really have anything to do, so she just kept sitting there, feeling really bored and wondering where her mentor was so that maybe they could do some kind of training...

Lightpaw padded to Silverpaw. "Hello!" she greeted the fellow apprentice excitedly. She wanted to know Silverpaw better. This cat seemed nice... "Are you bored?" she meowed, as if it wasn't obvious. And an idea had struck her. "How about coming hunting with me? It's better than staying here all day..."

Silverpaw looked up as Lightpaw walked into the den, "Hey Lightpaw!" she mewed happily. "Yeah a little," she mewed, with friendly sarcasim. The Medicine cat apprentice considered Lightpaws offer, "Yeah. Why not? But, it's been a while scine I've hunted..." she mewed, shifting her paws with embaresment. "I'm not much of a hunter, I spend all my time looking for herbs," she continued, smiling.

[From:: Out of Breath]
Silkheart walked on her three uninjured legs over to Lightpaw and Silverpaw. "Hello." Silkheart let out a sigh. She knew she should be resting but she couldn't. The dreams of the badgers were still haunting her. But why would they be if the badgers were gone. Did that mean that they were coming back?

A young white she-cat walked into the medicine cats den, tail held high. Green eyes blinked, and small white paws stopped walking in their steady rhythm. Standing in front of her was Lightpaw, Silverpaw and Silkheart. Duskwhisper walked over to the calico tom that a her Clans deputy and dipped her head respectfully. "Hello Silkheart." The she-cat acknowledged . Looking closer she saw he was hurt, holding one injured paw off the ground. "What happened?" Duskwhisper demanded with a hiss. TYhe white she-cat edged closer to the deputy and sniffed the wound. [/size]

Silkheart watched Duskwhisper walk up to her and the other two cats. "Hello Duskwhisper." Silkheart watched as the she-cat sniffed her injured leg. "A badger crushed my leg..." Silkheart sat down and looked at her injured leg. It was discolored in the places where her fur was ripped off.

Lightpaw touched Silverpaw's shoulder playfully with the tip of her tail. "That's not a problem! I could show you some cool moves... and I need practice myself." Hardly had she finished that Silkheart limped in. Lightpaw frowned as she caught sight of the deputy's injury. Something like guilt washed over her; she remembered only too well how that had happened. The cream-pelted apprentice padded to Silkheart's side and gently licked a small claw wound. Untended, it had reopened and was bleeding, although very faintly. "You missed a spot" she teased the deputy, trying to cheer things up, although it might have been herself she was trying to reassure...

Silkheart flinched as Lightpaw licked her wound. She felt pain run through her leg. Silkheart looked at the cats around her. She felt unsureness in the air. "D-do you think that the badgers might come back?" Silkheart asked all of the cats. She didn't want to scare any of them but she wanted to know what they were unsure about. She wanted to know if they thought the same as her.

Lightpaw quickly held back as Silkheart flinched. "Oh, I'm sorry..." she was worried. A superficial claw scratch like that shouldn't hurt so much... But an infection could do so. The cream-pelted apprentice flicked her ears back. "I don't think the badgers would come back... usually, one revenge is okay for them... but what do the other Clans say?"

Silkheart looked at Lightpaw. "I just have this weird feeling. I'm not sure what they think though." Silkheart laid down and started cleaning herself, making sure that she didn't lay on her hurt paw.

"No cat does." Duskwhispered re entered the conversation by going deeper into what Silkheart was saying. She swiped her tail around her paws and twitched her whiskers at Lightpaw, stating a dignified hello. "I doubt they'll come back, though, Silkheart." Duskwhisper stated with a sympathetic look at his paw. The white warrior got to all four legs, and trotted over on wind swept paws, "Not after the beating we gave them."I know I wouldn't. The green eyed she-cat agreed with herself. Smiling, she revealed bright, twinkling eyes to everyone that dare look in their shinning depths. Duskwgisper shivered, her pelt standing on end for but a moment, then relaxed.

Lightpaw nodded absentmindedly. Badger's aren't like cats... they don't think like us... and maybe they thought our defence was an attack? In that case... she shivered. Where did these thoughts come from? The badger's weren't coming back. Ever. Hopefully...

Silkheart looked at Duskwhisper as she talked. "I hope they don't come back. I won't be able to do much with this leg." Silkheart looked at her leg. "I feel so helpless." Silkheart tried to relax herself.

Duskwhisper smiled, and laughed softly at her deputies words. She shouldn't worry, the white she-cat thought, it will all be alright. "You shouldn't feel useless, Silkheart. They won't come back, I promise. It was almost immpossible, anyway. The WindClan warriors had given them quite a beating when they first arrived, why would they evem want to come back? Duskwhisper shivered, and sat down on her haunches.

Silkheart looked at Duskwhisper. "Your right. I shouldn't be worried. It's just, so much has happened and I am still having these dreams." Silkheart thought about Speckledfeather and her kits. Then she thought about the badgers. Why was this happening so fast? Silkheart laid there and thought.
