Peachpelt was on patrol with two other cats, Sirensong and Lionflame. "Come on guys!" she meowed, happy to finaly be on the dawn patrol. It had started with only three cats, which had grew into almost the whole clan turned up to volenteer to go. The deputy smiled as she remembered the way so many cats had been eager to go and that thought wamed her, knowing that Thunderclan was so loyal. She stopped to scent the border and leave her own scent.

((Dreamstar said it was ok if I posted here with Rainpaw.. ;D ))
Rainpaw caught the scent of Peachpelt, Sirensong, and Lionflame on the breeze. They must be patrolling, the apprentice realized. She knew she wasn't supposed to leave camp without her mentor, but she really wanted to join the patrol. Maybe I'll just follow them. I hope they won't notice, and with that, she set off in her best hunter's crouch, after the patrol. Her green eyes watched the patrol through the bushes. I wonder if they're expecting trouble, Rainpaw thought. When she studied Peachpelt, though, it looked like she was pretty relaxed.

[Cherry is ready to be found! So whenever you guys want to stumble upon her would be cool =)]
Lifeless... Alone....
Numb...
She didn't feel anything anymore...not after what just happened. She staggered through the forest in a dead daze, her emerald eyes shot from not sleeping. She hadn't eatten in StarClan knows how long...actually, she really paying attention to anything. Hunger, thirst...all blocked by this numb feeling that had streached across her whole body...numbed her to the core. She didn't feel anything anymore. If someone had taken a bite at her, she wouldn't have even noticed.
Nothing but pain... nothing at all...
The ground fell from beneath her as she slammed into the ground. Who knows what had happened. Maybe she just couldn't walk anymore, maybe she was dying. If only... Death would avoid her like the plague; it was going to make her suffer until her last breath. The spotted she-cat didn't even move as she layed on the cold, leafy surface below her.
Death...please...anything but this...

[*panting* Okay, I'm here, I'm here... *swipes forehead and grumbles about things one would rather not hear*]
Lionflame loped along behind the deputy, his powerful muscles rolling smoothly under his pelt, his head held high as was his habit. His jaws were slightly parted to let in all the delicious scents and smells of the forest. Rabbit here... squirrel there... thrushes, blackbirds, sparrows, a robin, and even an Amberpaw at one point. The leaves were crisp and fresh, their scent slightly mouldy and warm. A breeze brought over a very faint wisp from the RiverClan border. The golden tom happily followed the patrol, the scent markers. The darkened stench of ShadowClan almost blew away his sense of smell. Yet a thought suddenly hit him, though: How did the RiverClan scent come so far? The fact was that the breeze would need to blow across the WindClan territory, in which case it would loose all trace when hitting the crisp highland wind, or travel through the ShadowClan territory where the scent would fade away in the pines... Lionflame halted and stood, tense, his nose facing the breeze. A low, almost inaudible growl escaped his throat: "Intruder."

Rainpaw had been stalking close enough through the undergrowth behind Lionflame that she heard him growl, "Intruder." The gray apprentice frowned in confusion, thinking he had smelled her. I'm not supposed to be here, but I'm still in ThunderClan, she thought, before checking the scents and realizing that there was RiverClan scent here! The ThunderClan she-cat forgot all about being quiet and following her clan mates; instead she darted over to the patrol and said, "Do you think the RiverClan cat is still here?" Rainpaw's eyes stretched wide as she remembered that she wasn't supposed to be here. "Oops." Fox-dung, now I'm going to get it!

Peachpelt's ears flicked forwards at Lionflames words. "Stick together," she whispered, before spinning around at the sight of the apprentice, "What are you doing here!" she hissed quietly, eyes flashing with anger. "Oh well, it doesn't matter your here now," she continued. Before nodding to Lionflame, and jumping out yowling. The ginger she-cat glared at Cherrysky, before realising she was in no state to fight, "You are on Thunderclan territory! Explain yourself!" she growled, narrowing her green eyes angrily.

Rainpaw's ears flattened in embarrassment and regret at Peachpelt's anger, but the gray she-cat didn't protest. She knew that she deserved it. The ThunderClan apprentice obediently followed the patrol, neck fur raised and lips drawn back in the beginnings of a snarl, before she fully took in the cat's state. What's wrong with RiverClan, letting their warriors get in this condition? Rainpaw wondered, still shocked. She impatiently shook her head, now wasn't the time to feel sorry for Cherrysky. She was an intruder, and she needed to state her business or be driven off.

Lionflame nodded, frowned at the apprentice, and then stood stock-still as he waited for Peachpelt's action. He didn't need to wait long: the she-cat barely waited a few heartbeats before finding and leaping onto the Riverclanner. His fur rose on his back at the strong RiverClan smell, yet he almost chuckled at the lack of tactic of the deputy, holding his mouth shut. With deliberate slowness, making sure he looked calm yet menacing, he paced to Peachpelt's side. Golden and ginger warriors stood side by side, glaring down at the RiverClan she-cat, pelts bristling, shackles raised. "You are on ThunderClan territory! Explain yourself!" demanded Peachpelt, and Lionflame (almost a paw taller) growled to give emphasis to the deputie's words. His golden face was unreadable.

You're sick of feeling numb You're not the only one I'll take you by the hand And I'll show you a world that you can understand This life is filled with hurt When happiness doesn't work Trust me and take my hand When the lights go out you will understand Someone was talking to her...she knew it after a couple moments. What's the point of it anymore? What did she have left to go to anymore? Anything to fight for? Gone... within a short conversation... Weakly, the spotted she-cat straightened up into a sitting position, showing the full extent of her condition. The fur on her body was matted- plastered to her sides. What was underneath her fur was even more horrifying. Ribs were clearly visible, almost to the point where she looked sickly. You could see the unnatural curves of her hips and her shoulder blades as she sat there, completely motionless. The sight was enough to make someone's face twist in pity... Cherrysky hadn't eaten in days...mostly because she just didn't have it in her to go and catch something. However, she also didn't want to cause any trouble for RiverClan, considering she still held their scent. It might start some unnecessary tension for Crystalstar. Even the thought of the name sent a stab of pain through the she-cat's body... it was like someone had drove a piece of ice into her heart, even though she couldn't feel anything anymore. Nothing but pain... Her emerald eyes flickered up to the ginger she-cat that had addressed her, completely forgetting her name...and not really caring. "If you want to kill me, I won't stop you." She meowed, her voice numb...lifeless. The phrase seemed appropriate enough, considering she really didn't have anywhere to go anymore. Absent-mindedly, her gaze turned to the grey apprentice and then to the golden tom, lingering there as she waited for them to finish her off. Her eyes were empty... completely hollow... and what was there was a pain so torturous, no one would be able to comprehend it. Just do it...please... It was the only expression she had as she stared at the tom that was probably going to be the one to take her life. Pain- Three Days Grace

Lionflame repressed a shudder as the she-cat plopped down. She hasn't eaten in days! But his face remained smooth and expressionless. His eyes, who usually gave everything away, were unreadable. Before me is a broken cat. Lionflame wasn't a mean tom... He impulsively took a step forward, drawing beside Peachpelt, looking even more menacing than before, even though it wasn't intended. Like if his paws told him to help, but something held him back... He absent-mindedly rolled his powerful shoulders slightly, a habit when the atmosphere was awkward or angry. He glanced at Sirensong behind and narrowed his eyes. "Peachpelt, I believe this cat will die if we leave her here," he said in a low yet audible voice at the deputy's intention.

Rainpaw gaped at the spotted she-cat. "If you want to kill me, I won't stop you," the warrior mewed. Rainpaw had never heard a cat say anything like that before. The gray apprentice sat down, still very confused. She looked up at Lionflame and Peachpelt, wanting to know what they were going to do but knowing she wasn't in the right to ask. She wasn't supposed to be here. At that moment, she sort of wished she wasn't here. Her green eyes flicked back to Cherrysky, pity twisting through her once again. Oh StarClan, what happened to her? Rainpaw wondered. The ThunderClan she-cat hoped that whatever had happened to the RiverClan cat sitting before her, she would get better and maybe go back to RiverClan. But if her Clan has allowed her to get like this, why would she go back? Rainpaw asked herself. It was strange though. RiverClan was always the best-fed clan, maintaining their sleek coats even through leaf-bare. Something must have caused her not to want to eat, Rainpaw finally realized.

Peachpelt looked at the Riverclan cat, before nodding at Lionflame, "Your right, she will die, and I won't see any cat die like that, no matter the clan," she meowed thoughtfully. "Rainpaw!" she yowled, turning to the apprentice, "Can you catch something for this cat?" she mewed to the apprentice, before looking again at Cherrysky. "We won't kill you," she told the she-cat. Her eyes showed the pity she was hiding from her clanmates, "Can you walk?"

Rainpaw dipped her head to Peachpelt, and stood up. She trotted away from the group until she was hidden by the undergrowth, and then opened her jaws and pricked her ears for any signs of prey. Almost at once, she smelled a squirrel. She dropped into the hunter's crouch and stalked up until she could see it. Rainpaw crept around the side of the tree, blocking its' nearest escape route before she popped out and pounced. The squirrel tried to run, but she caught it by the tail and killed it. Since it was pretty big, she decided it would be enough for the RiverClan cat for now. The gray apprentice reappeared into the clearing and padded over to Cherrysky, set the squirrel at her paws and respectfully backed away.

Lionflame padded quietly around the RiverClanner with his head low, showing power yet that he meant no harm. He sat behind the she-cat, opposite to Peachpelt. The golden warrior's attitude wasn't menacing. He watched silently as Rainpaw placed a squirrel before the leopard-pelted she-cat. He bent his head down right beside her ear and said, gently but firmly: "Eat.

Mouse dung!! Why had she held herself back? Why hadn't she gone sooner? Her soft silver fur was just a blur as she raced through the trees like the ThunderClan cat she was. Already the scents of her Clan mates were swirling around her, stale and fresh. Thank StarClan she was following the right trail. When she burst into the clearing where her Clan mates were waiting her blue eyes widened in shock. Sirensong inhaled deeply. RiverClan. "What's this piece of fox dung doing here?" The tabby she-cat snarled as she eyed both Lionflame and Peachpelt suspiciously. Sirensong's hackles her rising, she was unstable and unpredictable. [/blockquote]
