Nightkit lowered her head. "Can't you see, I will never be like you nor Silverkit or Nettlekit, one day my eye sight will fail, and what will I be to the clan nothing, you and the others have a better chance at anything than I do,"Nightkit wailed her voice highering. Her green eyes flashed with anger as she stared at her brother. She knew the truth even if he didn't. She knew that she was meant for clan life. Thoughts began to cross her mind. Her head began to spin. Nightkit dug her claws into the ground trying to hold her balance. She felt her fur bristle in irritation. "Why does everyone keep lieing to me,"Nightkit wailed. Nightkit ran through the piney forest, ignoreing the nettle's that slapped her face. She just wanted to wail. She felt hot tears stream down her face as she ran faster through the forest.[/color]

But Ashkit was one step ahead of his sister. He knew exactly what she would do...because she had done it so many times before. He let out a small sigh and dashed after her, his irritation and anger pushing him faster then usual. With one mighty leap, the silver kit pounced on top of his retreating sister, his sapphire eyes angry. "I'm not going to let you think like that," He snapped, slightly out of breath. She hadn't made it that far...or it looked like she hadn't. He was to angry to notice or look back to see.

Ashkit pinned his sister's limbs to the ground, still angry. "And I'm not letting you up till you admit I'm right." He knew Nightkit wasn't about to wiggle out from under him anytime soon, she was too upset. Plus, he was the older one and slightly bigger then his sister. "Why do you have to be so negative?!," He growled, mostly to himself. "You'd think you would want to be an apprentice! Push yourself so you can prove everyone wrong." The silver kit growled and climbed off her, his sapphire eyes angrier then they were before. "Why am I the only one that's trying!," He yelled, clearly losing his temper. Ashkit never yelled at his sisters...or even his angel-like brother. But enough was enough! "I'm tired of being the only one who cares! Why can't you stop being so negative and just start trying! You're not the first cat to have bad eye sight."

Bushtail grumbled to herself as she left camp. "Ashkit!! Nettlekit!! Nightkit!!" She had left Silverkit back at camp to look for her kits. "I fall asleep for one moment and they escape on me!" she mumbled to herself. She had lost Nettlekits scent but was still following Ashkits because he probally was the head of all of this. She saw a dead vole and mouse as she followed the kits scent. She heard Ashkit's voice and ran forward.

Silently she hid in a bush then jumped out next to her kit and picked him up by the scruff. She set him down and scolded him, "Don't attack your sister like that! More importantly don't escape like that! Now wheres Nettlekit?" she said then padded over to Nightkit and helped her up. "Im mad at you too Nightkit." she said a little softer than she had said to Ashkit.

Ashkit's sapphire eyes flared as his mother stepped in. Not because she had caught him, but because of how she had interrupted him. The silver kit turned to Nightkit, ignoring his mother's presence. "If you want to act like you're worthless, fine," He snapped, his voice still quivering with anger. But underneath it all, he was hurt...even though he would never admit to it. "But I'm not going to keep trying and telling you you're not worthless if you don't want to even put fourth an effort." Ashkit turned toward camp, not even bothering to give his mother or sister a second glance. "When you actually want to try to be something, let me know." Without waiting for a response, the silver kit padded off toward camp, angrier then he had ever been at his sister.

"ASHKIT!" she yelled. Then she just shook her head. "Common Nightkit." she said nudging the black and white kit to her paws. "Now where is Nettlekit?" she asked seriously.

"I want to believe you Ashkit, but...I know your right,"Nightkit called after her silver brother. She sighed and padded over to her mother and buried her face into her mother's fur. "I love him,"Nightkit sighed. "I don't know where Nettlekit is, she never showed up,"Nightkit hissed and then padded after Ashkit. Her tail drooping and her ears laid back onto her head.[/color]
