[OMG! I just realised... Tigerfire, this is the leader's den, not the warriors' den xD You've mixed up... and I'm kind of wondering what Tiger would be doing in the leader's den...
I think I over-reacted, Dreamy, just do what you think best...]

[I'm just going to act like Tiger didn't enter... it'll be more "memorable" that way]
It all happened so fast, Amber wasn't very sure what had happened. But, in some strange way, it was all so familiar. The sudden whooshing of the air as it rushed past her head, the soft yet gentle thunk as her head made contact with the ground...
And the unmistakable feeling in the pit of her stomach that she could have done better. That somewhere in there, she could have made the better move.
Now the black and white she-cat was laid on her back, her amber gaze looking directly into the orbs of the intruder. A wave of... something... washed over her as she continued to stare up at the cat, her livid fury forgotten the moment her back hit the ground. She couldn't tell what the emotion was, somewhere between Déjà Vu and curiosity... with a slight dash of irritation. "Who are you?" She mumbled, still frozen in a confused state.
The light of mid morning was now washing into the den, lighting the room up in a eerie glow of gold and white. Amber could make out features... but most of them were buried underneath the gruff looking fur. Yet the expression was so soft, and kind of familiar. So familiar... yet not.
"I think we could make a warrior out of you yet."
No... not possible.
Suddenly, the gruff outer look fell into place. Memories and images flooded into her mind, making her amber eyes freeze on the cat in front of her.
Training in the hollow, being stalked from the trees, hunting patrols...
There's no way...
Border patrols, badgers, her first kill, her apprentice ceremony...
She pushed the cat off of her now, wanting to get a better look. Her amber eyes stared at the cat now, stunned yet again into silence.
Waking up at the crack of dawn, complaining about not training enough, being incredibly sore the next day, gloating to all of her friends...
And that day in the clearing, when she had pulled that exact same move... and had the same results.
"Sapphirestar?"
[Not big on the post... ohh well xD]

[[That post made my heart quiver with emotion, even if i had to read the previous posts afterwards to get all the details. Vonderful post, Dream!]]
Sapphire seemed to straighten up as she heard a name - her name - be spoken. A name she hadn't heard in forever, a name she had repeated to herself over and over again in the wild to make sure that it all hadn't been a dream... until she had lost control. Sapphirestar. She was back now.
Sapphirestar took two steps forward, towards the light, and stayed still, as if letting the direct rays imprint upon her all those memories, all those wonderful memories, all those feelings. Her eyes closed, she let the warmth seep in, waken the dormant Leader of ThunderClan within her. It seemed like her entire body would be eclipsed by the brilliant white sunlight... Then she turned to Amber - Amberpaw, now. The she-cat smiled one of her half-smiles, something she hadn't done in moons. Lost for words, unsure of how to react now that the fighting was over... she hadn't been in contact with a cat other than in battle for what seemed like an eternity. Society was so far in her mind...
"Come," she said at last. Her voice was low, laden with repressed emotion. Sapphirestar led the way out unto the High-cliff and sat down, surveying the camp in the light of day. She felt like touching Amberpaw with her tail, take in the familiar and distant scent, remember some more... Then her new instincts took over and said : Cool head. Don't let anything show. Feelings are as traitorous as wolves. Sapphirestar answered: This is ThunderClan; This is my home. To Darkforest with treason! It won't happen here.
Sapphirestar looked upon the camp, newly lit by the morning light. She frowned to see the destruction in the camp. She had been gone so long... left her Clan alone, leaderless... "Amberpaw, please brief me on this. Tell me every single thing that happened here... Every thing. Where are the warriors? Where are the kits playing, under the wtchful eye of their mothers? Where is the life gone?"
