Plot;;
Years after Bramblestar and his company find the Sun-Drown Place, four warriors acquired four different powers as both a blessing and a curse of StarClan. Shadeclaw of ShadowClan acquired the power of dream manipulation, being able to control other cats’ dreams. Whirlslash of RiverClan acquired the power to stay under water for over two weeks without running out of breathe. Emeraldsong of WindClan acquired the power of Prerecognition, or seeing the future, and Wishingpetal of ThunderClan acquired the power of Shapeshifting, the ability to turn into any object. The four were granted these powers, but as a result they were banished from their four clans for being freaks and different.
Undecided on what to do, they remained loners for 25 moons, living in the darkest parts of the forest. One day, StarClan appeared to each cat and told them to find other cats and form a new clan so,
They headed east to the sea to make their territories: HopeClan, DreamClan, MagicClan, and FaithClan. HopeClan was to be by the moors, where cats could run quickly and freely. DreamClan was in the darkest part of the forest near the ocean, filled with swampland. MagicClan was in the sunniest parts of the forest, where plenty of prey could be found. FaithClan was by the sea, and their camp was built on a beautiful island in the middle of it.
StarClan appeared yet again to each cat and gave each of the warriors one wish. Each one asked for 5 kits to build their Clan and make it flourish, leaving StarClan no choice but to grant the wish.
