Foxpaw padded into the queens den with a vole clamped firmly in

his jaws. The happy apprentice softly padded up to the queen

and sat the vole in front of her. The beautiful she cat was silently

dozing curled up in a ball. "Here Bushtail"Foxpaw mewed softly.

Then he sat down and waited for her to awaken. The a thought

crossed his mind and he beagn to wonder why Bushtail hadn't

told anyone who the father was. Then he shrugged his shoulders

and stared at her with wide green eyes.

Bushtail was dreaning of being an apprentice again. She was running everywhere. Then she saw green eyes in the distance. They looked familier. And the weird thing was something was calling her. She awoke and fliched for a second before calming down. "Hi Foxpaw." she said and took the vole from in front of her. "Thank you." she said and looked at the ginger apprentice. "Is there anything I can do for you?" she asked in a calm voice.

"No thank you Bushtail,"Foxpaw purred and then he starred at her. "What are you think of naming your kit's"Foxpaw asked starring at the bushy she cat with glowing amusement. The energetic tom twisted his tail and then stared at Bushtail. "Did you know that Twilightstar got into poison and me and Spottedfire fixed it,"Foxpaw rambled fastly hardly able to control himself.

"I acctualy haven't though about it. Though Silsticeflight say I will have three or four kits... I really don't know." she said softly as if to herself. "Well thats a relief." she said smiling. She finished off the vole with a few swift bites. Mmmm that was good." She felt pain in her stomache though. "Thank you Foxpaw. I think I should go see Solticeflight right now though. My stomache hurts." she said. She really liked Foxpaw. She would of enjoyed it if he was her apprentice but now it was too late. Oh well. "Go along then. I'm sure the elders have some ticks or need bedding." she said and waited till the ginger apprentice left then left also.

Foxpaw slowly left the queens den and then trotted over to the medicine cat den and grabbed some mouse bile. He headed for the elders den with a disgusted look on his face.
