New Suggestion

Hello, this is Petal. After looking at all of the Clan boards, I see that there is a major thing left out from almost all of them. Yes, they all have upgrading and mentor/apprentice things; but they are still missing a major thing. They need Clan member lists, and mate lists. I saw only ShadowClan had a list of it's members, like the warrior books have in the beginning. And mte lists, just for peoples benefit, of whose available or not.

I see what you mean about the members list...but I'm not to sure about the mate list. That seems like it would be to much work, considering that mates often break up and find new ones. It would be a constand job to be on top of and the staff has a lot on it's plate as it is.

However, I do like the idea of a list of all the members in a clan. I'll pm Crystal and see what we can do about it.

I don't think Maple would mind us borrowing that Allegiances idea.....although we will call it something else. And I'm trying to decide if we should put it in the Bio's board or somewhere else....I don't like the idea of putting it in the camps....but I need an idea of where to put the lists.

Like Maple's, however, I want it to where you can click on the name and it takes you to their profile. I don't like the idea of copying her idea, but it serves a lot of uses on the Four Clan's site.



This will mean, when we get this all settled, that when you accept a bio you will have to add their name to the list.

How about putting the Allegiances in the Rules board?
It is a little bit like a rescencement of all the members anyway.

And I love the idea of the click-for-profile.

Maybe we could also have short descriptions of the cat beside each name, like in the books?

Putting in the Rules board my confuse new members though...they may think that there are code words in there. I think it should be somewhere else...

lol I think the short descriptions would be a bit to much. Think about it, your going to have thirty some cats to describe in each clan. Then what will happen if they decied to go blind? Then you'll be promoting a lot of them so you'll have to copy and paste...I think it would be to much work.

Well, maybe you can make a sub-board in the Rules board saying "Clan Allegiances => Description: NO CODE WORDS HERE!!!" and make a thread for each Clan Allegiance.

Ok so I'm going to set all of this up! I'll make the boards and the threads. It will be the leader's job to put all of the links and stuff in the thread! All I am doing is posting the threads so they are under my username. This is in case anyone of our leaders decides they need to leave us.
