Shadowpaw

Sadeyes walked back to her den, aware that Shadowpaw would be there soon. Shadowpaw didn't look happy to be an apprentice, as most are... something is bothering Shadowpaw and she was going to help the young cat through whatever it is.

[shadowpaw]

Shadowpaw heard the warriors, apprentices, and some kits chant her new name. She saw Sadeyes leave to her den. Shadowpaw quickly jumped down from the Jagged Rock and followed Sadeyes to her den.

[sadeyes]

Sadeyes saw the young cat walk into her den. "hello shadowpaw..." she said "you aren't happy.... why is this?"

Bushtail padded over to the front of the medicine cat's den "May I come in?" she sat down and and waved her tail in little circles.

[sadeyes]

Sadeyes looked to Shadowpaw then to the entrance of her den. "You may enter" She said to Bushtail.

[shadowpaw]

Shadowpaw didn't like that Bushtail had to come in RIGHT that moment. She wanted to tell Sadeyes and that's it. She didn't like talking about her past, it hurt to much.

[sadeyes]

Sadeyes noticed that Shadowpaw didn't want Bushtail there so she shot bushtail a look and said. "What do you need Bushtail? Shadowpaw and I need to talk... and I don't really like group conversations... I like one on one conversations more." She hoped Bushtail understood.

[shadowpaw]

Shadowpaw shot Sadeyes a surprised glance . It was almost like she had read her mind. Shadowpaw was relieved that she said that though. She didn't want her mentor to think lowly of her because of this.

[sadeyes]

Sadeyes shot Shadowpaw a look that said ' i understand...'. She could see the look in Shadowpaw's eyes, she couldn't read minds... she hoped shadowpaw didn't think that she did. she only hoped.

[shadowpaw]

((OOC)) Do we have to wait for Bushtail to actually post and say he is leaving, or can we just asume?

[sadeyes]

OOC: we'll just assume.

[shadowpaw]

Now that Bushtail had left the den, Shadowpaw felt just a little bit more comfortable to Sadeyes. It was uncomfortable talking to anyone for Shadowpaw. "Well, I just don't want to get close to Bushtail, then lose him. Everyone I've loved is dead. Yes sure my sisters are alive, but they hate me. Plus, nobody talks to me because my sisters tell these horrible twisted stories about me."

[sadeyes]

"I learn to listen to what I think is right. I don't listen to stories I think is wrong. I believe that you are a very good young apprentice. I believe that you are misunderstood and need comfort more than companionship, but you need companionship so you can learn to trust others as well as yourself. I am here for you and you can tell me whatever you want and I will think no less of you than what you are. You can leave whatever you want out, but you can tell me anything. What you tell me is between you and me only." She said to the young cat. "What is bothering you?"

[shadowpaw]

"The fact of losing Bushtail. I mean if he died right now, yes I would be sad, but since I wasn't close to him I won't be devastated.And that's how I want to keep my whole apprenticeship. I mean loved my mother to death, then she died. I loved my brother to death, then he died with my dad. I am done loving and caring, I just want to live my life."

[sadeyes]

"I understand... all of my family that was with me died. I am caring, but I try not to get too close, but can't seem to do that... I love everyone in the clan and would do anything for them. I had my family die and wanted to help others in my position so I could recuperate. Being a medicine cat has helped me a lot. I feel like I have a family, now because I am close to all of the members. I'm here to help you as well. I will always be here." She said to the apprentice standing before her. Shadowpaw looked sad and pained. Sadeyes resisted the urge to walk to Shadowpaw and give as much comfort as possible... the young cat would not appreciate her for that... she would feel hurt.
