"May all cats old enough to catch there prey gather for departure to the Gathering!" Sapphirestar's yowl echoed across the stone-surrounded clearing. The time had come for another Gathering, and it was almost moon-high. The she-cat's pelt shone like a sapphire in the moonlight, and her eyes burned with a joyful fire that almost never went out or disappeared from her eyes.

Amberpaw bounded into the hollow, her fur ruffled from the wind. She skidded to a hault in front of the fresh-kill pile and dropped her mouse, her paws feeling sore after the dart the long run to the camp. The black and white apprentice padded to highledge and looked up at Sapphirestar. "Bellpaw was right behind me," She panted, backing up to the crowd of cats slowly gatheing. "She should be here shortly."

Bellpaw padded into camp her fur all ruffled and messy. She gave her pelt a few licks and thought I need to find Moonclaw im sure hes waiting, after I'll tell Amberpaw im back.[/b] Bellpaw padded a few steps ahead and looked around for Moonclaw, she spotted him sitting in front of the medicine cats den. She started walking over to him and bowed her head and walked into the den and she put the marigold away.
She walked out of the den, and walked over to Amberpaw. She smiled when Amberpaw looked at her and sat down. Another friend. Another heart....[/b] she waited for Sapphirestar to start talking again.

"Everybody here? Well, then, off we go!" Sapphirestar leaped off the Highledge and bounded out of the camp. The whole Clan would be coming to this Gathering. They were very nearly late, and the moon didn't wait for late cats.

Amberpaw bounded after Sapphirestar, her tail high in excitement. "Wait for me!," She called after her leader.
