It was a normal Leaf Bare day in the ThunderClan camp. Warriors were sharing tongues, kits were playing around the nursery, and the apprentices were play fighting in the corner of the camp. There was a slight breeze running through the forest and, for once, the crystal-clear sun of the cold season was shinning through the build up of clouds in the afternoon sky. Everything seemed pretty normal to the cats of ThunderClan.
However, everything was not normal to one cat racing through the winding trees of the forest. He barely noticed the clear day as him never-slowing paws hit against the ground, moving as fast as he could make them move. Unlike the beautiful day it was for everyone else, this apprentice knew that it was anything but beautiful for his clan, WindClan to be precise. And things were going to take a turn for the worst if he didn't find the ThunderClan camp in time.
Brackenpaw had never been out of the WindClan territory except for Gatherings, so he had no idea where he was going as he wownd his was through the ThunderClan under growth. Tall pines and the occasional oak; nothing like his moor land back at home. If there's a home when I get back. Where was this camp?! The only thing the apprentice could do was follow the trails of ThunderClan cats that had been wandering around their territory, hoping that it lead somewhere close to the camp.
He was wondering if he was ever going to find it when a small mewl of a kit broke through the air close by, Brackenpaw skidded to a halt and listened more intently, his ears pricking forward as he tried to find the sound again. At first, all he could hear was the loud beating of his own heart but after a while, the tabby apprentice picked out the sound again, followed by the sound of cats talking. Without a moment to spare, the apprentice shot off in the direction of the noise, pushing himself to run faster now that he knew where the camp was.
Instead of seeing a camp like he thought he would, Brackenpaw skidded to a halt as a bracken tunnel appeared before him. He didn't want to intrude into the camp because he didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea. "Hello!!!" He yowled, his emerald eyes looking fervently around the wall in front of him. "Please, I need to talk to someone! It's an emergency!" He wondered if anyone had heard his call as he continued to stare at the wall. If no one came to help him, what was going to happen to WindClan?

A breeze blew through the tangled briar of the ThunderClan camp entrance, rustling the tree leaves and shaking the bushes slightly inside the camp. A couple elders muttered some stupid nonsense and went inside their den, probably to bath in the warm the elders den presented. Sirensong snorted at their obvious dislike of a little wind. Her, on the other hand, enjoyed the breeze very much. It was one of the single things that calmed her down. It gently carassed her pelt as she lay on her side by the warriors den, letting what little sun there would be for the day soak into her fur. She let out a content sigh, and assessed over the last couple of days. The prey supply had gone down in average, Creekpaw was doing well in training, there were no nre threats from outsiders, and Cherrysky had joined ThunderClan. Perfect, amazing. That's great, Sirensong thought with an unmistakable growl.
The silver tabby she-cat growled and got up, sweeping her tail around her and lifting it off the gound, leaving a trail in the gravel. It was strange for Leaf-bare to turn out so well, in the beginning, at least. The sky was blue, with the exception of a thin layer of clouds staying constant above, the prey was staying at a low average as they ran through the forest, and so far no one had gotten white cough from the old weatherm though Sirensong herself was feeling a little colder than she should be at nights, it was the duty of a warrior to serve the Clan and she always would, sick or not sick. 'Hello!!!' Her head snapped up from it's dragging state on the ground. Intruder? Sirensong slipped smoothly into a crouch, and as she let out a hiss she moved towards the camp entrance where the voice sounded. 'Please, I need to talk to someone! It's an emergency!' "Who's there?" She growled at a level loud enough for the voice to hear.

Relief flooded through the apprentice's system as he heard another voice, even though it wasn't a very welcoming tone. "My name is Brackenpaw of WindClan," Brackenpaw replied. He was loud, but you could hear the distinct tone of panic and worry in his voice. He looked around the wall nervously, growing impatient as he sat on the other side of where he was supposed to be. "Please, I need to speak to the leader or deputy. WindClan is in real danger!" After he said that, the apprentice grew very silent. Part of him wondered if he should have waited to tell the leader or deputy that bit of information. The other part didn't care. I don't have time to play border games. He thought, his inpatients growing as he stared around the bracken wall. WindClan might not even be there when he gets back! Considering how long it has taken...

Raindance stretched her limbs out as she padded out of the den. "Who's there?" she heard one of her Clanmates—Sirensong—hiss. Curiously, the gray tabby warrior inched closer to the camp entrance. "My name is Brackenpaw of WindClan." The second voice caught her attention. 'Brackenpaw, huh?' she thought wonderously. 'Let's see what he has to say..' She crept over to the shadows on the brambles and crouched down. Her pelt, already appearing to be shadowed, helped her to be concealed as she listened to the conversation. [/size]

[ooc; every one uses blue. xD]
Sirensong could hear rustling outside the ThunderClan camp entrance, why didn't the intruder just come in already? If he was going to raid the camp just raid the camp already. She sighed, and drew in a shallow breath, so as not to altert the tom cat that she was becoming exaspurated. 'My name is Brackenpaw of WindClan,' Oh, so a WindClan apprentice came alone to ThunderClan, eh? The desparation in the apprentices voice was not masked well enough for the ThunderClan senior warrior to not detect, and she felt a wave of pity fir the tom. 'Please, I need to speak to the leader or deputy. WindClan is in real danger!' The wind ruffled Sirensong's pelt, and she scented fresh ThunderClan on the breeze. Raindance was most likely here, Sirensong scented her on the wind, but she wasn't sure. It only held a hint of the she-cats scent.
"Sapphirestar and Peachpelt are out right now, talk to me." A perfect time to go on a joint patrol, eh? She thought ruefully. She didn't know where they were on ThunderClan territory, thye could return now or never. What was so urgent that WindClan had to get help from ThunderClan? Nothing came to mind, but briefly she shivered at the thought. The silver she-cat lifted her head to the tunnel, and meowed loudly, scorn in her voice, "If you're gonna tell me, tell me to my face, Brackenpaw." She hissed his name, feeling uneasy letting an enemy apprentice into the ThunderClan camp, but having enough sense to invite him down. Another breeze watfed toward her, and she scented Raindance again."Raindance? Come here, please." Sirensong wasn't fond of the word please, but using it calmed her down. The she-cat sat down and waited for the two to come to her, eyes wide.
[ooc; sorry. covering for Peachy and Sapphire incase they can't show. D:]

[ooc]lols Raindance got caught! xD[/ooc]
Raindance jumped when Sirensong asked her to come to her. Embarressed, Raindance stood and walked sluggishly over to the senior warrior. "Yes, Sirensong?" she asked, a bit of resent in her voice. She sat down in front of the silver she-cat and dipped her head in respect to the older warrior. Then she lifted her head back up and focused her amber eyes onto Sirensong's face. The wind around her ruffled her fur into even messier patches as the seconds ticked silently on. She swiveled her ears back towards the camp entrance where Brackenpaw still stood, but faced away from him. 'I'm in a good position to be attacked,' she thought. 'Maybe I should turn around..' She took this in consideration and turned around so her back was now facing away from the camp entrance.
"WindClan intruder, Sirensong?" she asked, scenting Brankenpaw on the other side of the entrance. She knew that Brackenpaw was here, but she didn't have a clue why. What confused her even more was that there was fear-scent coming off the WindClan apprentice, mingling with his normal scent. [/size]

Feeling a little embarrassed, Brackenpaw wormed his way through the opening in the wall. It was dark for only a second, and then the ThunderClan camp came into view. A camp inside of a canyon. So the rumors of the ThunderClan camp were true. He wondered who had thought of the idea to put a clan in an all-rock canyon like this. Must have been a genius. This place is easily hidden and easy to defend! If he hadn't been in such a hurry, the camp may have held his attention longer then it did. However, as soon as his head poked out of the bracken wall, Brackenpaw looked up to see two gray she-cats.
One of them looked very annoyed, and was the older out of the two. His subconscious told him this was probably the one I was talking to when he had been on the other side of the wall. The other she-cat just seemed curious and, for some reason, slightly embarrassed. Even though he should have tried to get help as soon as possible, Brackenpaw remembered what Flamestar had told him just before he had left. So, with as much courage as any apprentice could muster with his back against a bracken wall in an enemy camp, the tabby apprentice looked the older she-cat square in the eyes and said, "Even though it is an emergency, I'm not going to talk to anyone except the deputy or leader. Those were my orders from Flamestar." His emerald eyes sparkled with defiance and his defensive pose didn't turn submissive, even though he knew that this she-cat could claw off his face for that comment. Even in an enemy camp, Brackenpaw couldn't bring himself to grovel at someone else's paws.

Sirensong breathed deeply as Raindance came out of the shadows and responded to her call. The silver she-cat seemed wary enough for the both of them, as Sirensong was trying to appear strong and proud for the WindClan tom that suddenly appeared at ThunderClan's doorstep, so to speak. While Raindance spoke once more. 'WindClan intruder, Sirensong?', she was waiting with narrowed eyes for the apprentice. "Maybe," She replied. "Let's see." Then he stepped out. It was the normal kind of fur, brown tabby fur, and sharp emerald eyes. So this was Brackenpaw. Fitting name. Sirensong thought. 'Even though it is an emergency, I'm not going to talk to anyone except the deputy or leader. Those were my orders from Flamestar.' The ThunderClan she-cat growled unmistakably, a menacing sound from the back of her throat. Flamestar is a fool. She thought, light sapphire eyes burning. "Whatever, it's your problem, kit."

'Brave words,' thought Raindance when Brackenpaw had finished speaking. "Brackenpaw, right?" she asked. "Brackenpaw, you might as well just speak to Sirensong. It'll be easier, and faster. It'll take forever to find Sapphirestar and Peachpelt, and by then, your Clan could have been destroyed." She tried to say this in a gentle way, but there was no easy way, so she just said it plain out. Her amber gaze met the apprentice's emerald eyes as she spoke, showing that these words were sincere. (Im here! Sorry! D=)
Peachpelt was on her way back from the patrol, a little way in front, when a strange scent hit her nostrils. A small growl rumbled in her throat as she wondered what was going on, before breaking into a run. The ginger deputy raced through the tree's, passing them in a blur in her hurry to get back to the camp. Finaly, she came to a halt, glaring at Brackenpaw, "Brackenpaw? Right? Why are you in our camp, what is Flamestar thinking?" she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly, as she wonered what in Starclan's name could have possesed the Windclan leader to send one apprentice here alone.

It only took Brackenpaw a moment to recover from the deputy's threatening growl before he blurting out the whole story. "WindClan is under attack from badgers!," He replied, his body quivering in fear as he let himself remember. "They came this morning, before the morning patrol had gone out. I had gone out early to make dirt, and was the first one to sound the warning. No one had time to prepare and we were caught off guard. There's more of them then before, triple the amount that was in the last attack. W-we're outnumbered....and most of WindClan has been wounded in some way....there are some that are---"
He broke off there, not being able to say the rest of the sentence. The apprentice then became aware of his posture- his eyes shut in fear and his body curling into a defensive stance. He snapped his eyes open at once and straightened out his stance. Brackenpaw's emerald eyes turned back to the ginger she-cat, his quivering coming to a sudden halt. "I was sent to ask for ThunderClan's help- for back-up."

Peachpelt's eyes narrowed slightly as she took in what he was saying, "Right..." was all she said at first. The ginger deputy turned to look at the others, "Scince Sapphirestar isn't here, I guess it's up to me to make the decision, we are going to help WindClan, can one of you please fetch some of our other warriors?" she meowed quickly, hoping nobody objected. Peachpelt turned to look at the apprentice, "Calm down, we will help..."

Raindance looked up when Peachpelt mewed, 'Scince Sapphirestar isn't here, I guess it's up to me to make the decision, we are going to help WindClan, can one of you please fetch some of our other warriors?' "I will," meowed Raindance before the older warrior could reply. With that, she turned and raced back into camp. "Everybody! WindClan is under attack, and Peachpelt has decided to go help! I need about 3(?) warriors to remain behind; the rest of you will come with us," she yowled so her Clan could hear.
[ooc]I didn't know how many warriors to leave behind, so if that's too many/too less, just go ahead and change it.[/ooc] [/size]

[I'm going to send out a Mass Pm either today or tomorrow with the people that will be going on the "patrol" to the other clan]
It took a moment for the panic in his face to melt from incomprehensible to understanding. Emerald eyes stared up at the ginger she-cat, relief starting to flood through his system with her words. "Thanks..." Was all he could muster up with a tiny voice. Brackenpaw looked over to the she-cat that disappeared from her side, feeling slightly worried. "I hope I haven't been away to long..." He murmured to himself, beginning to worry again. He had been away for some time, trying to find this place. Then he had to deal with the gray she-cat with the piercing eyes. I really, really hope that I haven't been away long enough to cause critical damage... The tabby apprentice's thoughts began to dissolve into an unclear jumble of worry, his tail twitching ever so slightly now and then.

Willowbreeze looked up at all the noises and smelled WindClan in all the normal scents. Why?? She quickly looked up and saw a panicked Brackenpaw.... Their Clan was under attack... Well, Willowbreeze was sure that her leader would send help. She quickly padded up close to the cats, hoping that her leader would pick her to go help.
