Waiting in Disapoinment

Bellpaw walked into the medicine cats den with a vole in her mouth. She put it down by the entrance and went over to the rock wich they kept their herbs. Good we have enough herbs for now. she thought and nodded her head. Once she had checked twice she went back to her vole and grabbed it. Her feet hurt and she padded over to her moss bed. She lied down and ate her vole. Her mind raced with the thought of the signs and all that was happening, she was alot under pressure. All she wanted was to be a kit in the nursery ling next to her mother not having to worry about this. I'm not mengt to be a medicine cat.. I cant take it. she thought to herself. Once she finished her vole she rested her head on her paw. Slowly she drifted off into a light sleep.

Moonclaw walked in, after Bellpaw was already asleep. Better not wake her up, he thought. He walked into his den, feeling tired, and hungry, but he was too tired to even walk back over to the fresh-kill pile for some food.

He settled down into his nest, drifting into a heavy sleep.

Bellpaw heard her mentor enter the den and only winced to see if it was really him. He was asleep so she didnt bother him or she would of asked if she could do anything. But he was sleeping so she let him sleep and she shut her eyes. The bad thought raced through her mind as she tried to sleep. Finally she managed to fall into a light sleep of dark dreams.

Bellpaw awoke about 1 hour later. in shock from her nightmares. She was about to let out a crying yowl but before she could she realized she was in the den and it was all a dark dream. Starclan help me! What does this all mean?she thought while she let out an almost soundless whimper. She stood up realizing that Moonclaw was still asleep. Her whole self became unnumb and she let out a deep sigh closing her eyes. Opening her eyes again she slowly and silently padded out of the den hoping not to awake her mentor. I should get some Milkweed even though we have some, you wont be able to find anymore as leafbare comes along. Inhaling the nice scent of Thunderclan camp. A gust came along and made her ears twitch. Passing the leaders den noticing it was empty A patrol probaly.. with all the bad news if I were a leader I would do the same. Bellpaw padded out of camp to and off to find some Milkweed.
