Amberpaw padded into the medicine cat's den, her rabbit clamped firmly in her mouth. The afternoon sunlight streached across the den floor to Bellpaw's empty bedding. The apprentice moved into the center of the den and set her rabbit down. "Bellpaw?," She called, looking to the back of the den. "I brought something to eat!" She smiled as she looked down at the rabbit. And the assest went well... She thought, wanting to tell her friend that later.

Bellpaw lie behind a small rock. When she heard a familier meow calling her name she stood up and pricked her ears. As she walked away from the rock she noticed a famillier pelt and unmistakable amber eyes. "AMBERPAW!" she said and ran over to her friend. She sat down infront of her friend. "Did you catch this rabbit yourself?" she asked smiling.

"Of coarse!," Amberpaw meowed proudly. She nudged the rabbit towards Bellpaw with her paw. "I brought it for us to share. And Sapphirestar gave me the assest after the patrol! It went awesome!...well I think it did anyways.." The apprentice swept her tail over her paws as she began to explain how she had caught the vole, mouse, and then the rabbit. Her amber eyes sparkled as she reaccounted the rabbit again. "That has to have been my best kill ever!," She meowed excitedly, looking down at the rabbit. She let out a small sigh and turned to her friend. "Have you seen Sapphirestar? I haven't seen her since I went out."

Bellpaw smiled, Amberpaw was one of the best hunters she knew. She could just imagine when she became a warrior. Her eyes glittered as she listened to the story of when Amberpaw caught the the kills. "A marvelous hunter you are!" she said and took a small bite from the rabbit. A smile crossed her face, Amberpaw was just s nice.

Amberpaw gave a huge grin and bent down to take a bite of the rabbit. "Thanks," She mewed, swallowing her mouthful. "Geeze that tastes good!," She meowed, half laughing. She looked up at Bellpaw and sighed. "But thats probably because its leaf bare and I haven't really eaten a decent rabbit in a while." The apprentice's fur was ruffled as a bitter breeze blew through the den. She shook it off and looked outside, her eyes curious. "But have you seen Sapphirestar?," She asked again, her thoughts drifting back to her mentor. "Aren't your mentor's supposed to find you after the assest?"

Bellpaw looked at Amberpaw. "No, I haven't seen Sapphirestar after I saw you and her on the patrol." she said her joice not joyfull nor sad just normal. She took another bite out of the rabbit and then looked away from Amberpaw. "I think they were but I'm not sure." she looked back at her black and white friend. The memory of her acctualy hurting Moonclaw she coulden't stand. "I think it's good and personaly I've been eating too much." she said and pushed the rest of the rabbit tworeds Amberpaw. "You deserve it."More than me..." she wanted to add on but didn't.[/center][/size]

Amberpaw shurgged and took another bite of the rabbit. "Ohh well..." She sighed, pushing the thought from her mind. "Sapphirestar will find me later...its not like I'm going anywhere..." The apprentice looked up at Bellpaw and tilted her head to the side. "Are you ok?," She asked, her eyes concerned. "You seem like something's bothering you..." Amberpaw sat up and looked her friend in the eyes, trying to figure out why she was down. It may be medicine cat stuff... She thought. And if thats the case you may not be able to know about it... The apprentice pushed the thought from her mind. Bellpaw would tell her if something was bothering her, no matter what it was...right?

Bellpaw smiled "Yeah I'm fine." she said pushing out the thought of Moonclaw. "So how is training my soon to be warrior." she said a big smile coming to her face as she said soon to be warrior. It slightly faded and now was just a small quater smile.

[Amberpaw]

Amberpaw growled and swatted Bellpaw's ear. "No your not," She meowed sternly, clearly not convinced. "Something's up with you and I want to know what!" The apprentice looked at her friend, her amber eyes concerned and worried. Medicine cat secrets... The words kept echoing in her mind, but she ignored it. She was going to find out, exspecially since Bellpaw was depressed over it.

Bellpaw half smiled "You never change Amberpaw you know that?" she said. Then the smile washed away from her face and she un locked her gaze from Amberpaws "Weeellllll...... I went out training with Moonclaw and he suddenly attacked me and..... I hurt him." she said her voice trailing down into a whisper. "Don't tell anyone. It really hurt me that I was suprised and hurt him." she sighed. It did feel better to tell someone but still, she wouldn't tell anyone, Amberpaw was an acception though.

Amberpaw's eyes streached wide in astonishment. "He attacked you?," She meowed, her face confused and appaled. "You guys weren't training or anything?! Are you ok?" The apprentice searched her friend's face for answers, but only found confusion and pain. I knew something was wronge with her... She thought, her face fading into a pained frown. But I didn't think...[/i] Moonclaw never came across to her as that type of cat! He always seemed so gental and kind....it made everything so hard to believe...

Bellpaw looked up "No no we were battle training but I thought it was over and then I didn't know it was him and...." the apprentice trailed off. She didn't want to talk about it anymore. "Uhhh so... how was training?" she asked. "I think you might just become a warrior soon." she purred.

[Amberpaw]

Amberpaw frowned but didn't pursure the statement, only giving her friend a sympathetic look. Things must have really spooked her... She thought, looking at Bellpaw. Usually, the apprentice was optimistic about everything....but this really seemed to get to her. Amberpaw wished she could talk about it more, but it looked like Bellpaw wasn't ready to talk about it just yet.

Amberpaw let out a small purr at the comment. "Maybe..." She meowed, a grin creeping across her face. "I won't know if I'm close till I talk to Sapphirestar."

Bellpaw sighed. "Maybe... maybe in a minute I'll help you find Sapphirestar. And maybe you could come help me find some herbs, though I doubt we'll find any usful ones. Most are dead because of the frost." she smiled and widened her eyes. "Maybe... just maybe." she said and started to purr.

[Did you want to start the patrol thread? I need to get that started up again...]

Amberpaw nodded her head happily. "Sure thing!," She agreed, a grin creeping to her face. "We haven't been able to spend that much time together lately. This would be a great time!" The apprentice took one last bite of rabbit before pushing it towards Bellpaw. "Here," She meowed, begining to wash herself. "You can have the rest..."
