Redmist's face was fixed into a troubled expression, as was his mind; troubled. Crystalstar wasn't fine, she was terrible. Loosing Cherrysky was the worst thing that ever happened to her, even worse then having to declare Swiftstar dead not too long ago. The only thing that really troubled Redmist was how rude, and terrible Crystalstar acted towards her Can. It made Redmist so, so scared. Scared for Crystalstar, for his Clan, for Arrowheart, for himself.
It took Redmist a moment to comprehend why he was standing outside his leaders den, why he was so deep in thought. Then he remembered that he had to gather together an argument to put against Crystalstar incase she turned on him when he approached her. He coughed, his ginger fur puffed up against the sudden cold. The large tom felt obliged to ask for permission to enter his leaders den, but he was afraid that she wouldn't let him enter.
So, instead, Redmist just stuck his nose through the lichen in the reed bush and then followed after it, squeezing through the entrance. "Crystalstar?" he called quite timidly before charging into the den and looking for her. "Crystalstar, I must speak with you; I don't care if you don't want to." It was true, he had to figure out why Cherrysy leaving meant so much to her, and why changed this drastically. [/color][/blockquote]

Oh come on. Couldn't a leader get any respect from her Clan anymore? Clearly she had said that she wanted to be left alone. Snarling, she unfurled from the grey ball that she had previously been napping in, and, silently, she rose to her paws. "What do you want, Redmist? I have half a mind to send you out now and assign you to Apprentice duties for disobeying a direct order from me." Her tone said it all, that she was cranky, rude, and did not want company. The dying part of her fought mightily against this new part of Crystalstar, but, as usual, it was pinned down, defeated. Finally stepping out of the private part of her den, she stood, ruby eyes staring at the ginger warrior who dared to defy her.
The leader seemed to be even more fearsome than before, with the snarl planted on her face and her aggressive stance. If one looked at it from a slightly humorous perspective, one could say that Crystalstar was not a morning person. But from her tattered pelt, ill-fitting skin and dirt covering every layer of her body, Crystalstar had lost all pride in her own appearance, and focused on tearing her Clan apart. Her claws scraped against the dusty layer of her den, and, letting out another snarl, she snapped at Redmist once more. "I don't have all day, warrior!" [/sup]

Redmist scowled, this would be a little harder then he thought. The deep ginger tom lowered his head, hiding his green eyes, and entered the den. Crystalstar looked terrible, she normally kept her fur in an extremely smooth-looking state, but now it looked unkempt, even though it was still mildly considered excusable. Fur stuck up in tufts here ad there, randomly, normally. But her eyes were wild like fire, the calming, deep clear-blue sea raging like a storm. Redmist couldn't suppress the shiver that raked down his spine. "Crystalstar," He started in a shaky voice, he cleared it. "I have to tell you that whatever happened between you and Cherrysky must not affect your decision as Clan leader. Yes, she was your best friend and left, but you mustn't act so ... so, demonic. You must keep the peace between our Clan, like you did when the badgers attacked. I trusted you to care for my Clan, our Clan, and you did, flawlessly. I was so proud of you, but now it's like you've lost all will to let love creep into your heart." He took a deep breath. "It's ..." He bit his tongue. Pitiful. [/color][/size]

[ooc] oh, whoopie. x][/ooc]
The white deputy stepped into the small room, and watched two cats speak. "Indeed," whispered Whitedawn, glancing to Redmist, his claws were still unsheathed from the ceremony, just incase. He watched Crystalstar with emerald eyes, his gaze following her, "You must know, Crystalstar." murmured the deputy, looking down for a moment, then looking up, "Half of the Clan probably doesn't trust you anymore," his words were cold as he scratched into the ground. He had no room for love anymore, only hate. "I can't trust you, Crystalstar, I just can't" continued the white cat, glancing to Redmist, "I can assure you that we may not be friends after this," he said softly, holding back tears, "But you know, you need to hold up you're duty, as same as me," he finished. He stepped back silently, blinked and edged himself into the corner of the cave.

Her ruby eyes blazed with fury. It seemed as if red-hot embers were burning in her skull, penetrating those who stood before her to the very soul. You have no right to speak like that to me... The demon in cat's fur snarled in her mind. As her white deputy approached her, she flicked her ears, giving nothing away. "Both of you are beginning to annoy me." Her voice, icy cold and rock-hard scratched the air like nails on a chalkboard. The real Crystalstar wheeled, howling in defiance and rage. Then, she laughed. "Friendship? It means nothing to me." The cat said, facing away from the two cats, as she had at the beginning of the conversation. And now, she whirled around. Body tense, close to the ground, her tail stuck straight up, a demonic glare painted on her face. "LET THEM HATE SO LONG AS THEY FEAR!" She screeched, the volume echoing through the cave, and surely, to the outside world.
Directly afterwards, her frame began to shake. Horribly, almost seizure-like she convulsed. Brought down to her knees, her eyes were closed, claws sheathing and unsheathing uncontrollably. At last, her eyes gaped open, red mixed with silver. Almost yin-yang style. She was unable to see her beloved cats, but she sensed that they were there. Her own voice returned, however temporarily, to gasp out a few words. "Help me... this isn't me... NOT...ME!" The occurrence halted directly afterwards. Straightening up, Crystalstar's body stood menacingly before them. "I suggest you leave now. In fact, I demand it." Her iron-spiked voice raked through their ears, as she sat down. "Now." [/sup]

A smirk played on Whitedawns' maw. "What makes you think that I must leave," He meowed, with a happy hate, "You can't even control yourself, how could you control me?" He asked her quietly, stepping forward, his paws silent. He moved around Crystalstar as if doing a dance. His emerald eyes had a dark shade as he watched her. The deputy didn't flinch at her words, he stood there and watched her.
Back off, I'll take you on, Headstrong, to take on anyone..
"Crystalstar, you're behavior doesn't surprise me," He meowed, his voice cold, "I was once just like you, probably a moon ago, I went crazy just as you," He growled as he blinked with wide eyes, "Sunstream.... 'taught' me to control what was wrong with me." His meow turned into an evil hiss, "She taught me to control.. my Hate" he said, his last two words like ice, "But yes, it still lurks with in me, I still control it," he meowed, the smile started to fade as he spoke of his past, "You think I was just one happy fellow like Redmist here?" He guessed, gesturing toward the other cat. "No" He stated, his voice cold and quite.
