Shadepaw sat quietly next to the sparkling stream near RiverClan's camp. He was practicing his hunting skills and he needs absolute concentration. Okay, Shadepaw, you can do this. Remember, don't let your shadow fall on the water or the fish'll know you're there, he encouraged himself. He watched as the silver fish flitted back-and-forth in the water in front of him.
Ready.. NOW! He flashed a white paw as a large fish came to a rest in from of him. The fish flipped out of the water and into the air, landing with a thud on the ground beside Shadepaw. Shadepaw set a paw on the fish's slippery scales and bit into its throat, killing it.
