Stormpaw smiled when Shadepaw said her idea was brilliant. I probably won't have to pretend about falling asleep, though. She thought. Her eye lids started drooping as she brought herself next to Shadepaw. She gave herself a thorough wash to get off any scents clinging to her fur, as he had told her to do. The curled up in a ball next to him and fell asleep as soon as her head hit her paws on the ground.

Shadepaw stretched a few hours later once the sun had risen. He heard the young queen Arrowheart call out Breezepaw's name, and figured that she must be kitting... 'Wait.. Arrowheart.. Kitting..' Something snapped inside his head. 'Oh no!' He jumped up and shook Stormpaw with one of his forepaws. "Stormpaw! Stormpaw, wake up! It's Arrowheart!" he hissed frantically into the gray tabby's ear. "Come on!" Shadepaw was starting to get impatient now as he shook Stormpaw more roughly in attempt to wake her up. |

Stormpaw felt paws nudging her awake. She kept hearing someone calling her name. "Stormpaw! Stormpaw, wake up! It's Arrowheart!" The sound was off in the far distace, as if not entirely in the place she was in.
Then it hit her. Shadepaw's voice. Something had happened with Arrowheart. But what? She was supposed to be expecting kits soon... Kits! The word popped in her head and woke her up immediatly.
Stormpaw quickly shook her head to clear her thoughts from her dreams. She looked at Shadepaw, then nudged him on his shoulder quickly She smiled at him one last time then ran off to help Arrowheart. Starclan. Please don't let me be to late! She thought and ran as fast as she could to where Arrowheart was.

Shadepaw sighed in relief as Stormpaw sped off away from the nursery. 'StarClan, don't let her be too late. She'll be devastated if anything happened to Arrowheart.' He didn't take a second glance backwards as he raced off after Stormpaw. He figured that she might need help, but he wasn't sure.
