Brackenpaw burst into Flamestar's den, his green eyes wild with fear. "Flamestar!," He called, frantically searching around the den. There was no time for this! He needed to get back to Silkheart before anything happened to her. The apprentice looked around the den again, his heart thudding unevenly in his chest. "Flamestar!"

Flamestar lifted his head at the sound of his name and noticed Brackenpaw and stepped out into the view of the young apprentice. ''What's wr...'' Flamestar broke off in mid-sentence noticing the fear in the cat's eyes. ''What's wrong'' he demanded alarm coursing through his body.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw could hardly control himself from shaking with fear as he re-accounted the message. "Silkheart and I found a scent of badgers inside the boarder! And they're fresh!," He yelped, his green eyes growing wide in dismay. "Silkheart told me to go back for help, but I'm worried that she's going to get hurt." The apprentice clawed at the ground impatiently as he let the leader process what was happening. "She's out there all by herself!" I shouldn't have left her... Brackenpaw cursed silently. Guilt and fear boiling up inside of him. If anything happened to Silkheart while he was gone--the apprentice shuddered at the thought. It would be all his fault.

[Flamestar]

Eyes showing alarm, Flamestar jerked his head around, thinking, what could he do. ''I'll call Lightpaw and then come and help you'' he meowed quicly, ''You... go help Silkheart, she'll need you'' he continued.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw turned and bolted out of the denthe second Flamestar uttered the word "go." I'm coming Silkheart, He thought, running as fast as his legs would carry him. Hold on...

Flmaestar called Lightpaw and dashed after the apprentice going to help save his clan. I have to do this he thought. He kept running till he arrived.
