((From:: BORED))
Silkheart walked out of the camp enterance and to the training hollow. She sat down and licked her paw a couple times. It was getting crapmed up and she hoped that it wouldn't stay like that. Silkheart then started to think about what they should train. "Brackenpaw, what do you want to train?" Silkheart asked the joyful apprentice. He looked like he would want to do anything accept sit around in camp with all of the crabby cats. Silkheart loved her apprentice, Brackenpaw. He was always so enthusiastic. Silkheart was happy to get out of camp, too.

[And a century later, Cherry shows up and decides to post =/ Sorry about my lateness Silk!]
From:: Bored::
The tabby apprentice shrugged his shoulders as he sat down near the WindClan deputy. "It's up to you really," He replied, his voice very nonchalant. As long as it doesn't involve going back to camp, I'm okay with it. The last thing he wanted to do right now was go back to camp...and he probably didn't have to tell Silkheart that. His feelings were pretty clear on his face about what he wanted. Usually, this was no the case. Other cats usually found him very hard to read, partially because he really didn't share his ideas or thoughts with anyone else. Brackenpaw never really minded keeping to himself.
His emerald eyes drifted across the moor, feeling very empty. "Anything is better then nothing," He commented, letting out a small sigh. "There isn't much we can't do without straying to far from camp." Without making Flamestar upset that is. The WindClan leader had been slightly paranoid about another badger attack, so most cats had to travel in large groups. Even though the apprentice saw the reasons behind it, he still thought it was a little too much. If they were going to attack, they probably would have done it by now.
[lol he doesn't know much now, does he? =p]

Hmm.... Silkheart thought. "How about we do battle training for a little bit." Silkheart stood up and walked away a little bit from Brackenpaw. She then turned around and looked at Brackenpaw with determined eyes. "Attack me."

A smile crossed the apprentice's somewhat bored face as he jumped to his paws. "Whatever you say, boss," He replied, giving the deputy an impish grin. Battle training wasn't one of his favorite things, but right now battle training was something he would eagerly jump into. His emerald eyes focused on his mentor's position, thinking about the best angle to attack from. Leaning to the left, right paw slightly raised... He took all of the minior details into consideration as he studied her stance.
Finally, after a good few minutes, the tabby apprentice crouched down and shot forward, pushing as hard as he could with his back legs to get more speed. He ran straight at the she-cat, his eyes focused and his claws sheathed. At the last minute, he parried to the right and lashed out his sheathed paw at her head.
[Make her totally trample him or something lol. I want to keep this going.]

Silkheart smiled at the apprentice's determination. She remembered when she used to be that way. Silkheart looked at the apprentices eyes and watched how he studied her. Silkheart watched as the apprentice sprang right at her. A direct attack. Hmmm... Silkheart ducked under Brackenpaw's paw and spun around quickly. She then pounced at him and landed on his back, being careful not to hurt him. Silkheart felt the apprentice crumble under her weight. "Gotcha."

[Geeze, you posted on the 10th?!...I'm sorry =[ That makes me feel bad.]
Brackenpaw felt his shoulders cave as the she-cat sprang agilely onto his back. "Figures," He sighed, shaking his head slightly. The tabby apprentice knew better then to think about his attack for to long. It had been one of the things that Silkheart had told him during their first lesson. "Don't let your opponent read your eyes. Act quickly."[/b] This was something that he was having trouble with...
With another small sigh, Brackenpaw rolled out from under the WindClan deputy, his emerald eyes flickering up to met her face. "Don't tell me," He sighed, giving her a small smile. "I know where I messed up. The usual, right?" She shouldn't have to ask when he said that. Brackenpaw's problem with thinking to long didn't just apply to the fighting area. His daydreaming got him into trouble as well.

Silkheart purred in amusement and got off of the apprentice. "Yes, you shouldn't leave the other cat enough time to know what you are planning." Silkheart meowed to Brackenpaw. "It is also alot easier for you if you let the attacker come at you. Then you can see what they are doing and plan quickly. Of course, you have to practice alot." Silkheart backed up a little from the apprentice and smiled. "Are you ready?" Silkheart watched Brackenpaw closely. "Now I will attack you."((It's ok Dreamy. Do you want him to get me this time or not yet?))

[Yep! Get him =p]
Brackenpaw shook the dust from his pelt and squared his shoulders. "Bring it," He replied, his emerald eyes gleaming. He had only tried to defend himself from another attacker twice, so the tabby apprentice was very doubtful that this was going to turn out well. Then you can see what they are doing and plan quickly. He wondered if she really understood how easily distracted he could be at times. He chuckled under his breath slightly as he turned back to his mentor, a faint smile creasing his face. Of coarse she knew- she just needed to break him of the habit. Badgers? Sure no problem- they move slow. Cats on the other paw...
Taking in a small breath, the apprentice steadied himself and tried to focus on Silkheart's movements. He would attempt to focus; to pay attention to her slight movements that might actually tell him what she was planning to do.

Silkheart looked at Brackenpaw in the eyes and started bolting towards him like a hawk. She quickly moved to the left of Brackenpaw and spun around in a circle, facing the apprentice from behind. She then pounced on top of him. "Got you, again." Silkheart purred and got off of the apprentice.

[I'm going to start off the site plot for WindClan. Bracken's going to smell something horrid and run off toward camp.]
The tabby apprentice let out an irritated growl and rolled onto his back. "I'm starting to think this is pointless." He complained, pulling his paws over his face in frustration. "Badgers are one thing. I can pick out their movements quicker because of their size and how slow they move." Brackenpaw shook his head and rolled onto his four paws, failure diminishing his once good mood. He was a hunter, not a fighter. Tell him to catch a rabbit and he would bring you back three. Tell him to fight an apprentice! Well- that was just asking way to much.
"Cats move quicker, but my brain doesn't." He continued, opening his emerald eyes to look at Silkheart. "I don't know...maybe the--" The tabby tom was about to say maybe I should just give up on fighting, when a horrid stench hit the roof of his mouth. Instead of blocking out the smell, the apprentice got on his paws and took in a deep breath through his nose. The smell burned his nose, but a part of him- buried deep inside- was screaming that something was horribly wrong. That this smell was something that shouldn't be there.
That the smell brought danger.
And suddenly, everything pieced together in his mind. With alarmed eyes, Brackenpaw bolted toward the WindClan camp. A small part of him hoped that Silkheart was right behind him, and not wondering why her apprentice had just ditched her training lesson. There was no time to explain though- because the badgers were in the camp.

Silkheart froze. The smell was revolting. She knew exactly what it was. Badgers. Silkheart ran towards camp as quickly as she could, chasing Brackenpaw with her still not fully recovered leg.
