Ashkit's ears flattened against his head as he listened to his siblings go back and forth about the RiverClan tom. This was not a time to be having a sibling argument- besides, everyone knew that Nettlekit wasn't about to concede defeat to her younger brother. "Both of you shut it," He growled darkly, giving both of them a warning glare. "Even if our opinions even count, arguing isn't going to solve anything." Usually, he wasn't so gruff with his younger siblings, but really? Arguing right now was getting nothing resolved.
His sapphire gaze flickered back to Twilightstar, defiance still blazing in his eyes. "Do our opinions count?," He asked, his voice just short of a growl. "Or is a kit not considered a cat anymore? I've forgotten how things are ranked when you have no voice." He was really pushing his limits with Twilightstar, and Ashkit knew this. But having to listen to you're just a kit every time he opened his mouth was getting ridiculous.
Not bothering to look at his siblings or the leader, the gray tom got to his paws and padded over to Redmist. He sat down by the tom's side and glared back at Twilightstar. "This is me voicing my opinion- whether the clan accepts it or not." And even she couldn't deny that kind of voice. It was so blatant and straight forward that it raised the fur on the back of your neck. Rude, yes. But how would you feel if you had always been ignored?

"I say we help them," came a strong, clear voice. Darkheart paced out of the den, her head held high and her purple-ish eyes flashing. She came to a stop a few tail-lengths from the warrior and tilted her head as she scanned him. At last she raised her head once more. The beautiful she-cat looked around to Twilightstar, her gaze piercing and hard. "Once the badgers have killed them all, you know that they won't think twice about raking havoc in our Clan as well. If we do not bring them down now, they will bring us down later." As a brilliant strategist and seasoned warrior, the beatiful she-cat was respected through the Clans. "As much our rival as RiverClan is, they are still cats of flesh and blood which now need our help. If we help them now, they will have to return the favour." Darkheart was playing on the Clan's characterisic loyalty and slight hypocrasy to push the cats into helping RiverClan.

Silverkit watched silently as his brother, Ashkit, then Darkheart speak up saying that they should help them. With an unfriendly glance at his sister, the silver kitten stood and padded over to crouch next to Ashkit. "I agree; though flesh and blood, that doesn't mean that we can't help them without them owing us something," he mewed confidentally to his leader. Though he might get in trouble for it later, the kit felt he had every right to speak out, even if he wasn't technically participating in helping RiverClan. That is, if they helped RiverClan.[/blockquote]

[Crystalstar and I agree that going to page three with this kind of activity would take FOREVER!!! So can we have the clan finally decide to aid RiverClan now. Twilight, if you preffer, you can act like the clan is getting out of control or your losing half of your clan... or something xD lol]

Bushtail was lost in thought before she finally realized what was gonna happen. "NO!! We will not go and risk our lives aginst those badgers! Our clan will not die!" she screamed. She would not let her clan die in mercy of the badgers. "No, no, no, no." she grumbled to herself. "Ashkit!" she snapped at her kit. Suddenly sad she was mad she calmed down and said gently but sternly. "Respect." That was when she made up her mind. The brown tabby turned to face Silverkit. "When you say we that means strong warriors, not fluffy oversensitive kits." she brushed her tail down her kits back. "I'll go. Not that I want anyone to go, I just dont want anyone else going." she looked at Redmist and wanted to say Happy now water scum?. Instead she mumbled to herself "We're stupid to go, why should we go, oh yeah because we fall for the tabby, thats right." But she didn't change her mind.

Darkheart observed each cat in turn as the Clan struggled to come to a decision. Most were reluctant, but they seemed to grudgingly accept the fact that if they helped RiverClan, the other Clan would owe them. Twilightstar stayed strangely silent and retracted, almost as if she had faded into the backround. The kits strongly supported her point of view, although their vote currently counted little in this matter. Darkheart's piercing gaze snapped back to Bushtail as the tabby she-cat announced that she would go, her ears flicked to catch Bushtail's mumbled words. Time was passing fast. "With every heartbeat, RiverClan is weakening," she began in a clear, dark voice. "We must come to a decision soon, or else they will be a lost cause to us." The she-cat's black pelt tingled purple for a second, and her eyes grew darker as she stepped forward. "I shall go too."

ooc; alright good idea. and dreams, email me and bother me until a get on xD
she was overwhelmed, completely overwhelmed and there was nothing to stop it. the two sides were conflicting strongly, and twilightstar merely listening. she wanted to know their opinions, but ashkit was coming on too strongly. he had to learn that there was a time to speak and a time to be silent. "ashkit," twilightstar mewed, padding up to face him, "you have a big strength, you aren't afraid to speak your mind," she closed her eyes, then opened them again, "but your greatest strength is also your greatest weakness." twilightstar quieted down, and stepped back.
she looked at darkheart, one of her most trusted warriors (along with bushtail) and nodded slowly. twilightstar was in the middle of every cat, and silently watched everyone with her icy stare. it was getting out of control, and the leader couldn't handle it any longer. she was falling apart from the inside and now the clan was falling apart. twilightstar jumped onto a small hill, above everyone.
"silence!" her voice rang across the clearing, the yowl clear, "i don't want to see my clan fighting! you are not rouges, you are civilized shadowclanners and you will stop this right now!" twilightstar hissed, her icy gaze raking the clearing. she sighed, "we shall go. i have decided this is the right choice and it seems that is the popular vote. shadowclan shall go and fight for our fellow clan." twilightstar waited for anyone to object with a straight face, a slight frown in her features.

Darkheart's gaze briefly connected with Twilightstar's and she conveyed a current of strength and understanding. She knew the leader had had a difficult choice to make, attempting to put both ends together; although Darkheart hadn't really made anything easier for her... Now there was only one thing left to figure out. The dark she-cat patted up to the leader and dipped her head, briefly touching Twilightstar's shoulder with the tip of her tail. "We will have to decide who will go fight and who will stay to defend, Darkheart said in a low voice so only Twilightstar could hear. "We'll also have to figure out a plan of attack... her voice trailed off as strategy ideas popped in her head, as if they had been hiding all along, waiting for her to ask for them. She pressed all the ideas into the back of her mind; this wasn't the time. Not yet.

( I finally had a chance to get on!!)
Whispersong looked at all the cats in the clearing, knowing that even though the cats in trouble aren't ShadowClan cats, they are still cats of StarClan, so they must help. "TwilightStar's right. All of you shouldn't be acting like kits fighting over who gets to play with the moss ball," she hissed. From where she was, Whispersong knew that a lot of talking had already been going on. I must have zoned out or something. Whispersong then padded to where Darkheart and TwilightStar were standing. " We have to keep an even amount of strong cats here, so we can't take all the strongest cats to RiverClan," she meowed, her emerald green eyes gazing into the leaders icy blue ones.
(Ack. horrible post, no muse.)

B.u.s.h.t.a.i.l The tabby looked into her leaders eyes. "Well, I am going." she said determindly. That was the voice she used when she wasn't going to take no for an answer. The wind howled and seemed to whisper its approval, and somewhere in the distance you could hear RiverClans deafining cries. "Hurry, we must go." she turned around and walked to the entrance. Then she sat down only a fox-length away from the RiverClanner.
