Redmist ran quickly into ShadowClan territory. He didn't have the slightest idea where he was going, he only knew that the most reasonable thing to do was follow the strongest scent of ShadowClan he found, and then maybe he'd be led to their camp. Redmist stared around wildly, he must be nearing their camp, he could hear some voices, or was that just him? The horror from the scene he had witnessed back at the RiverClan camp was still in his mind, he couldn't bring himself to forget them. He still worried over Arrowheart, he hadn't gotten any time to be with her since Horizonkit was born, and since then he sensed this wall between them. Shaking his head, the ginger tom took a deep breath and opened his jaw to it's full extent to try and scent the freshest scents of ShadowClan. Left. They were close. He veered off his course to the left, and he found himself soon looking down a small hill, into a place that looked like a camp when you really looked at it. It didn't look appealing to Redmist, but it must be nice for the ShadowClan cats. He couldn't imagine living there. Sucking in a deep breath, Redmist bid sound to his aid and meowed, "Help! Help! Any one, RiverClan is under attack!"

A ginger she-cat was coming back from a small hunting mission by herself, when a small breeze passed, bringing with it the scent of RiverClan. RiverClan cats must be in ShadowClan's territory! The she-cat let out a small snarl of annoyance and anger, and followed the scent. This she-cat knew the territory very well, not because she was deputy, it was because of her mentor. A faint sound came from in the undergrowth not far from where she was, and it wasn't a very familier voice either. Letting her instincts carry her to the maker of the sound, the ginger she-cat raced silently through the dark marshy territory.
Coming very close to the camp, Whispersong veered to the left, and saw a medium sized tom that didn't look like any of the cats in ShadowClan, which weren't very many in the first place. Letting her white muzzle back into a snarl, the she-cat hissed," Who are you, and what do you think you are doing being in ShadowClan's territory. By the looks of you, you could never be a ShadowClan cat." Since she was deputy, she had to give the cat some time to explain, but any form of a patethic excuse the she-cat would attack the tom.

Silverkit crept silently from his den. His eyes twitched back-and-forth in weariness. He knew his mother wouldn't appreciate him being out of his den when a storm was prowling overhead, but he had to get out of the den. He just had to.
Nervously, the silver kitten padded a bit further into the clearing. He arched his back in attempt to stretch out his stiff limbs. However, when he was still stretching, he heard a voice yell out, "Help! Help! Any one, RiverClan is under attack!" This made him crouch down in fear and let out a long hiss. His ears flattened on his head, his claws slid out menacingly, and his fur began to rise along his spine. "RiverClan intruder!" he yowled out so the rest of his Clan could hear. But he knew his deputy already had a hold of the situation; he could hear her confronting the mysterious cat.
"Who are you, and what do you think you are doing being in ShadowClan's territory. By the looks of you, you could never be a ShadowClan cat," he heard Whispersong hiss. Quietly, Silverkit padded towards where her voice came from. His leafy-green eyes shone brightly with fear, but he made sure to keep himself under control. He may be just a kit, but he knew that if one warrior had decided to trespass into ShadowClan territory alone... A shudder ran down his spine. He didn't want to think of that. Not now, not ever. Not when there was something important on hand.

Twilightstar was right beind Whispersong, and she stood next to her faithful deputy. This cat was not ShadowClan, probably RiverClan. What in StarClan? "Yes, I'd love to know what compelled you to intrude our camp?" Her voice boomed across the clearing, to the full extent of its authority and suddenly Twilightstar seemed to realize just how loyal her Clan was to her. She was blessed from StarClan to have such a wonderful Clan and took a sidelong glance at Whispersong, deputy and best friend, gratitude showing in her ice blue eyes.
As her orbs snapped back to this mysterious cat, Twilightstar took a step foward and recognized the tom as Redmist. She showed no sign of it and kept an even gaze at him. He looked pretty desperate, but it could be a trap, it could always be a trap. "RiverClan is under attack? By who?" Or what... Twilightstar could never be so sure because her Clan was the smallest in these days and she would let nothing happen to the valiant felines that prowled ShadowClan's borders every day.

Redmist's throbbing heart beat jumped at a new pace when he heard a hostile voice coming from behind him, he jumped with a frightened yelp before spotting the actual predator. A ShadowClan she-cat was standing behind him with a fiery ginger pelt, looking at him with speculative eyes. Narrowing his eyes, he listened to the rest of her accusatory question, '. . .By the looks of you, you could never be a ShadowClan cat.' Redmist growled, his neck fur started to rise and bristle at the spine. "By the looks of you, miss, you could never be a RiverClan warrior." Chew on that for a little while, the ginger tom thought snidely. 'Yes, I'd love to know what compelled you to intrude our camp?' Another sinister voice. The RiverClan warrior slowly switched his amber gaze to that of the ShadowClan leaders, Twilightstar was padding with what looked like pride up to the same incline Redmist was standing on. More hostility. He thought, holding back a snarl of frustration.
'RiverClan is under attack? By who?' "Twilightstar, RiverClan is under attack by badgers. Even more than the first group that came, we need your help. There are too many for RiverClan to fight off alone." He pleaded with the black she-cat, his eyes shone with the light of fear and determination. Help us, please.

Bushtail came from the nursery to stand next to her leader and deputy. Her nose scrunched. Riverclan... she thought disgusted. "Now wait. Why should we go save your orry butts when instead we could be sitting on our nonsorry butts relaxing." she snarled. She was having a bad day ans wanted to sit on her nonsorry butt. "Twilightstar, RiverClan is under attack by badgers. Even more than the first group that came, we need your help. There are too many for RiverClan to fight off alone." Suddenly everything changed. "B-b-badgers."she snarled. "Nasty wretched badgers..... they're back...." her voice faded off towerd the end of her sentance and she whimpered. "Badgers..."

Autumnkit rolled over onto her back and stretched her limbs out when she heard a cat yowl out, 'RiverClan intruder!' She opened her eyes and looked out in front of her. River...Clan..? she thought slowly. "Oh!" she gasped alloud as she remembered that RiverClan was a rival Clan. She quickly rolled onto her stomach and stood. She raced out of the den towards where the other cats were gathering and sat down beside Silverkit. A growl formed deep in her throat as she saw the ginger RiverClan tom--she wasn't sure who it was. Sapphire orbs peered down from a tall pine by the entrance of the ShadowClan camp, watching the intruder with interest. He had never seen another cat outside of ShadowClan before. Of coarse he had listened to the elders' stories, but the actual thing was a totally different experience. Awesome... He thought, staring at the intruder with interest. RiverClan. Wasn't that the clan that had all the fish? The lengthy gray kit was fairly sure about that. Fish wouldn't fit in with any other clan.
Giving a slow, long stretch, Ashkit flexed his claws and made his way down the pine. He reached the ground just in time to hear his mother's outrage at the idea of helping someone else. This idea struck him funny. "Why shouldn't we help them?" He pipped up. He moved toward the intruder, giving him a long stare. He was so strange... The tom's fur was all slick and his body was lengthy, kind of like Ashkit's. After another moment, the kit turned his gaze from the RiverClan tom to Whispersong and Twilightstar. His gaze was curious, and somewhat shocked. "Why shouldn't we help them?" He repeated again, seeming more and more convinced as he got a better look at the tom. "Don't we need all of the clans to function? Isn't that what StarClan said?" Ashkit's sapphire eyes turned back to the RiverClan tom, looking at his battle wounds. "He doesn't seem like he's lying. Why would he run into a camp full of ShadowClan warriors that could rip him to pieces? That would be a pretty mouse-brained thing to do." Just like usual, Ashkit wasn't thinking about the consequences, or the clan's reaction, when he started spilling. It wasn't like he did it on purpose; the cat just spoke his mind more then others. A trouble-making, mischievous, out-spoken kit.
[Remember, we need an argument here. I want it to go to page 3 before we have ShadowClan go. ...Maybe the middle of page 2... but everyone likes to argue with their cherries =] So I'm thinking page 3]

Redmist turned to growl at a brown-and-white she-cat. Why was ShadowClan so hostile all the time?! And even when another Clan was in trouble, they wouldn't come to their aid! Calm, Redmist, calm. He thought. Trying to compose himself. "Look here, miss, RiverClan is in trouble. We would come help your Clan's aid in a heart beat. Be happy your Clan isn't about to be destroyed because of the ignorance of some cats." He remarked, scowling at Bushtail.
'Why shouldn't we help them?' Huh? Remist turned his body around to see a small gray and and white-flecked kitten speaking up. He smiled. At least some one had a brain.
'on't we need all of the clans to function? Isn't that what StarClan said? He doesn't seem like he's lying. Why would he run into a camp full of ShadowClan warriors that could rip him to pieces? That would be a pretty mouse-brained thing to do.'
Wincing at the last sentence, Redmist moved toward the kit as graceful as a RiverClan warrior should be. "Smart kit you got here." He remarked, more toward Twilightstar than toward his mother, he didn't know who his mother was anyway. And a kit like him would be useful in ShadowClan's future. He turned around to face the black she-cat. "Twilightstar? Will you help us?"

Her gaze stayed on Redmist, unmoving, if he tried anything she could jump just a small distance and stop him. Twilightstar, RiverClan is under attack by badgers. Even more than the first group that came, we need your help. There are too many for RiverClan to fight off alone. "Badgers..." She repeated with masked horror, more to herself than to him. Her eyes grew clear as she saw Rosestar's lifeless body, the light that always shone in her eyes gone as the leader had faded away. Twilightstar blinked quickly, as to not show herself to be so vulnerable like that. But her clan was small, not weak, but small. If any should be terribly injured ShadowClan could not populate any longer.
Bushtail's snide voice entered the conversation and even in the tension of it all, Twilightstar could not repress the brief look of pride that showed on her face for a moment. That's my clan. Always ready to say what they really think. She thought proudly, but that thought blown away as Bushtail's voice became weaker. The thought of badgers frightened her just as much as it did Twilightstar.
Ice blue orbs stared intently at Redmist, seeming to catch his every thought. The leader could see his frustration, determination, and underneath it all, hidden desperation. She opened her maw to say something but a small squeaky voice broke through the silence. Why shouldn't we help them? Twilightstar swung her head around to see Ashkit, and had to fight the urge to growl at the kit to return to the nursury. This was, after all, a full Clan issue. She listened to the rest of his words, which made sense, but it was quite rude to say something like that. "Ashkit." Twilightstar spoke with a low growl, warning him that he'd better close his yap before she came over there to close it for him. He was not helping the situation, though he wasn't making it worse.
At his words to Bushtail Twilightstar stepped foward, again, until she just a mousetail away from the RiverClan tom. "Don't ever say anything like that again, or I swear by StarClan I'll shred you to pieces." The she-cat said, almost inaudible, her voice seeming to blend with the tension. "You think ShadowClan has always had it easy? Do you? Because we don't." She stepped back and returned to her origanal position, glancing at Whispersong for a moment. Any leader would be luck to have the loyal she-cat as a deputy and thank StarClan she was Twilightstar's deputy. Smart kit you've got there. She opened her muzzle to comment, but then heard more words Will you help us Twilightstar?
An urge crept through Twilightstar, telling her to help RiverClan because that was the right thing to do. And she almost agreed, but what good is a leader that doesn't let her Clan's opinions be voiced as well? She might as well become crowfood if she did anything like that. Unlike other Clans, ShadowClan made decisions with each other. Finally, Twilightstar decided what to say, "Redmist, we might help, but I cannot make a decision without other opinions being voiced." She mewed finally, letting her gaze fall across every cat.

Ashkit scowled as Twilightstar shot his opinions down... again. He struggled to control the complaint that was rising in his mind. It wasn't like he was arguing the fact that kits should be allowed outside of the camp [that would be dealt with later]. This was about something more important! A whole clan could perish if ShadowClan didn't do something! Why was he the only one that saw that?
The comment from the tom... it was Redmist, wasn't it?... made him blink in surprise at the RiverClanner. No one had really regarded him before in any conversation. Was RiverClan really that different? Did they listen to a kit's opinion? That's when Ashkit remembered that Redmist was only here because his clan was in danger, and that he would probably kiss the ground Twilightstar walked on to get some help for his clan. Sigh. Well, the idea was nice while it lasted.
"Does my opinion still count? Or am I just a measly kit again?" The silver kit inquired, staring up at the ShadowClan leader with a defiant expression. "RiverClan are cats just like us. I think they deserve some help." Of coarse he was going to give his opinion anyways, whether anyone listened to him or not. To him, his opinion meant just as much as an elder warrior's or even the deputy's; and he wasn't about to let anyone take that away from him [no matter how many elders' nests he had to clean out].

N e t t l e [kit]
Nettlekit stepped out of the nursery, her fur coming out in tufts around her flank and ears. That's what sleeping through the afternoon did. She stepped forward with both front paws, stepping into an elegant stretch of the spine. As soon she she was satisfied, she brought her hind legs forward and flicked her ears, opening her green and brown-speckled eyes to the world. 'Don't ever say anything like that again, or I swear by StarClan I'll shred you to pieces.' The she-kit's eyes widened in shock, surprise, and fear at the voice she easily recognized as her leader's. Quickly, she looked around. Every one she knew and loved was in the clearing. Plus, a new character. A ginger tom with amber eyes. His scent was carried over to her by the wind. He held a ... blubbery, clean, fleshy scent. It made her mouth water as she listened for more. It sounded like RiverClan was in trouble, and Twilightstar was going to negotiate with her Clan.
Hmph. Nettlekit thougt snidely. Let them deal with their own problems, they can't come running to us every time something bad happens. The brown tabby she-cat made her way over to her brother, Ashkit, with her tail high in the air and ears alert. 'Does my opinion still count? Or am I just a measly kit again?' The kitten snarled lightly at her brother when she heard his statement. 'RiverClan are cats just like us. I think they deserve some help.' "Ashkit," She meowed, a little closer now. "What if it's a trap, huh? What if this RiverClan cat," She flicked her tail at Redmist. "Wants to draw our warriors away so RiverClan can raid the camp? Ever think of that?" Nettlekit meowed, not looking away from her brother to see Redmist bristling not too far away. Nettlekit smirked at him from the corner of her lip, and he let out a snarl.

Silverkit listened to his brother's complaining. 'Does my opinion still count? Or am I just a measly kit again?' he heard Ashkit say with a slight snarl in his voice. 'RiverClan are cats just like us. I think they deserve some help.' Silverkit was about to mew his agreement when his sister's voice floated into his ears. 'Ashkit. What if it's a trap? What if this RiverClan cat wants to draw our warriors away so RiverClan can raid our camp? Ever think of that?' Nettlekit had hissed. He stole a glance at Redmist and saw that his fur was bristling and a snarl escaped his lips.
Silverkit then stood and padded towards his siblings. "I agree with Ashkit. In the original times, StarClan had said that all four Clans must survive for them to live in peace," he mewed to Nettlekit coldly. "Besides, how do you explain the smell of badger on him?" It was true, there was a faint but unmistakable scent of badger coming from the ginger warrior. His leafy green eyes held his elder sister's gaze evenly, and he remained calm as he waited for her to speak.

'I agree with Ashkit. In the original times, StarClan had said that all four Clans must survive for them to live in peace,' Nettlekit snarled as her brother Silverkit's voice exposed itself beside her. The she-kit rounded on her brother, teeth bared. Her brother's didn't normally speak against her, being a mini-Bushtail as her mother called her, and they didn't speak out against their mother, why speak out against her replica? Nettlekit listened further through the words defiance running through her mind. 'Besides, how do you explain the smell of badger on him?' Surprise ran through the ShadowClan kits body like a chill, her face stayed in place, a look of anger and defiance, while she stood up and sniffed the air. There was a reek coming form the RiverClan warrior, along with blood. Nettlekit turned back to her brother with a light growl. "How would you know what a badger smells like? Have you ever seen one? We weren't there for the first badger fight, there was no way you could've scented it." That might've been wrong but Nettlekit didn't care. "Besides, that reek could have been from the crow-food along our territory. Or he could have stumbled into a Badger set or something." She remarked, nose in the air now. "Even if this isn't a trap, who's to say that RiverClan won't turn on us after the battles over, huh? What if they bring WindClan to help them?"

Silverkit listened to Nettlekit's insensitive yapping, hardly absorbing anything she said. Except the last part. 'Even if this isn't a trap, who's to say that RiverClan won't turn on us after the battles over, huh? What if they bring WindClan to help them?' Nettlekit accused. With a harsh laugh, Silverkit narrowed his eyes at Nettlekit. "WindClan? What help can those bunch of scrawny cats offer? Their Clan is nearly as small as ours!" he challenged with a sneer. He curled his scrawny tail around his paws and continued to watch his sister through narrowed eyes.
