Speckledfeather popped her head over the edge of the cliff-like mount, taking in the whole plateau in one piercing green gaze. Reassured by the infinitely distant, song-like humming of the stars, she leapt over the edge and sat down, slightly panting. Her recent birthing left her a little less fit than usual, but she was getting much better.
The young she-cat trotted over to the MoonPool and sat down once more, this time to wait for the others. As long as I don't compromise myself, all will be fine, she thought. This was the first medicine cat Gathering since the badger attacks. Hopefully, no one had been too injured. She felt like meeting her friend Bellpaw again, seeing Moonclaw, Solsticeflight... She wanted to make sure everyone was safe.

The young medicine cat apprentice padded tworeds the Moonpool. The only thing in her head was guesses about what happened to Moonclaw. As she stared blanklessly and walked tworeds the Moonpool she stopped. Was she going the right way. Come on Bellpaw you've done it down moons! she said to herself. She looked around and saw the silver stream that lead to the Moonpool. She started folloing the stream and saw Speckledfeather. Stopping in her tracks she thought. What was she going to tell everyone? Moonclaw just vanished... She haddent realized it but she had started walking again while thinking. She looked back up as she almost bumped into a familier silver she-cat. "Oh.. Hi Speckledfeather." she said stumbly.

Speckledfeather turned around and recognized Bellpaw. "Bellpaw! It's good to see you again" the silver-lined she-cat searched the ferns for another figure. "Have you come alone?" she asked hesitantly. For the first time she noticed Bellpaw's dazed and slightly tortured expression. She came closer to the medicine cat apprentice and gently touched her with the tip of her tail.

Bellpaw searched for words then she gave up with a sigh. "Yes I have come alone." she looked at the WindClan medicine cat. "But the sad part it." she looked away and hung her head low. "I'm not sure why." she said softly.((xD Dramatic Bellpaw Dun Dun Dun!!!)) It was all her fault. She should have gone with Moonclaw. She should have asked him where he was going. She should have done something!

When Speckledfeather saw Bellpaw's head hang, the silver she-cat swallowed all her questions and pressed her flank along the over-sized apprentice's. "He'll come back... in one place or another, he'll come back," she said. They both knew who she was referring to.

Bellpaw felt comforted by Speckledfeather. "I hope." she mumbled to herself. Moonclaw wouldn't abandon her like that. She looked up at the stars just hopingthat Moonclaw wasn't one of them tonight.

Featherpaw ran in a little while behind Bellpaw. She had come a little later than Speckledfeather, making sure the kits were going to be safe. She lept up one rock after the other. Hey. She said breathlessly. But she quickly she sensed the atmosphere. Moonclaw isn't coming, is he? She asked, pained at the thought. But it wasn't an actual question. By the look on everybody's faces, the answer was clear. She went up on Bellpaw's other side. I'm so sorry. She said quietly. She put her head in Bellpaw's flank comfortingly. At the moment, she didn't care if Bellpaw wondered why she didn't come with Silverfur. All she cared about right then was making Bellpaw feel better.

The tabby she-cat sighed. "If it was his time it was his time." she said mainly to herself. No he's not dead. He's not! she said to herself. "No he'll come back... somtime, somewhere."[/] she said. She sighed and looked up. "I can't take on ThunderClan by myself. I need his guidance." she whined.

A black and white pelt ran through the shadows. He had never been this late for a medicine cat meeting. He trotted solemly through the shadow until he was at the edge of Thunderclans territory. He had ran all the way from Shadowclan. He had helped Bushtail give birth to four little kit's and he had dealt with Twilightstar getting herself into poison. But, he had also been worried about Midnightrose. He trotted along the Moonstream until he reached the place where the other cat's where gathering. "Sorry I am late, Twilightstar was sick and Bushtail had four little kits,"Solsticeflight explained.

Featherpaw listened to she-cat try to calm herself by saying that it was his time, but she could see the pain in her eyes. Then she heard she couldn't handle Thunderclan. Bellpaw, don't worry. You'll always have us. No matter what, we will be here for you. She was hoping when she said this, she was speaking for all the medicine cats, but if they didn't believe the same thing, Bellpaw would always have her. Featherpaw then heard footsteps behind her and a voice. Greetings Solsticeflight. She said, and bowed her head in respect and greeting. |

Bellpaw looked at her friend. "Thanks Featherpaw." and for the first time since she journeyed here she smiled. Then a black and white tom padded tworeds them. "Oh. Hello Solticeflight. And Congragulations! On the kits, not the poison." The medicine cat said to Solsticeflight. Feeling kind of bad that she got everyone down because of Moonclaw she changed the subject, "So should we start?" Silverpaw and Silverfur are late... And what about Spiralpaw? she thought to herself.
((Are we gonna do it without Silverfur O.o?))

Solsticeflight bowed his head in greetings. He couldn't help but notice that Bellpaw was a little down. Solsticeflight padded over to her and warapped his tail around the she cat's neck. "Moonclaw is proud of you,"Solsticeflight purred and he licked her ear. His icy blue eyes warm with gratitude. "Don't worry,"Solsticeflight meowed as he flicked her ear playfully with the tip of his tail. His black and white pelt brushing up agianst her grey one.

The grey and black medicine cat nodded in agreement. "Of coarse he would," She reassured Bellpaw, a smile appearing on her face. "Moonclaw was very fond of you. Everyone here knows how proud he was." Speckledfeather's green gaze turned over to Featherpaw, unsure of how to ask about her mentor. "Did you come alone?," She asked, trying to be gentle. "It's almost moon high and we need to get started."

[I'm so sorry for not being here!! I am now though!]
A spotted brown shape moved in the shadow of the moon light, he had stayed behind in the camp to check up on somethings and he had promised Solsticeflight that he would be there soon. But Spiralpaw had never thought that it would be Moon High when he reached the glittering pool. Spotting his mentors spotted white pelt in the darkness, the brown tom reached his fellow Medicine Cats. 'Sorry.. I'm late." Spiralpaw panted heavily. He looks up and sat down, his tail cruled around his paws. "Hello Bellpaw." He nodded to the apprentice, it felt better to be with an apprentice then a full medicine cat, so he padded over to the striped she-cat and touched his pink nose to her ear in hello. "Are we all here? Can we begin?" The bangal tabby lifted his head to the sky, the moon was very high and they would have to start soon to beat dawn.

"Hello Spiralpaw." she purred and smiled. "Ummm... Silverfur and Silverpaw aren't, though we can't wait much longer for them." she looked at Featherpaw. Her mentor couldn't of been lost also... That would be horrible. Even though doubt that Silverfur would be coming shone Bellpaws blue eyes along with sadness and grief. No.. No! Why did this have to happen?
