As Solsticeflight awoken, Midnightrose noticed he took a great pleasure in her presence. Her cheerful mood was swept away as she noticed affection sparkling in his eyes, more than a friendly affection. It was love. Midnightrose tried to ignore his purr and focus on the things that actually mattered. But before long the tom's emotions made her consience go out of whack. "Solsticeflight...." Midnightrose's sweet voice trialed off sadly. "You can't....please" She pleaded, he would know what she was talking about. As much as it would hurt both of them, it was true. "I will talk if there is time afterword."
Without waiting for a look from the depths of his eyes, Midnightroe mewed, "Come, follow me, I must show you something." Instead of jumping into the Moonpool like Pineclaw had done with Spiralpaw, Midnightrose sped out of the clearing towards a familiar ShadowClan camp. She stopped and waited for Solsticeflight to catch up.
As Midnightrose waited patiently, a flurry of emotions welled up inside of her. They were strong, too. What is this I feel, sadness? Pity?........ She traveled deeper into her emotional state, her eyes staring blankly ahead as if she were dead but still standing. .......love? No, it can't be!! I will control my emotions. Midnightrose hissed to herself inwardly. She fought to keep the tears away.

Wintersong appeared and nudged Speckledfeather, "Wake up" she whispered softly. "Danger" she murmured. She need to give Speckledfeather a vision. She waited till the medicine cat wakes up.

Pineclaw watched Spiralpaw. "Come Spiralpaw. I must go now." Pineclaw walked up to him and licked the top of his head. "Close your eyes and you will wake up at the Moonpool. I hope to talk to you again." Pineclaw closed her eyes and vanished. She apeared at the Moonpool, invisible to everyone. She watched Spiralpaw and waited for him to wake up.

[Ok so...since this has never happened in the books XD I'm going to make up the ceremony words as I go....]
Dreamstar smiled down at the young medicine cat, sensing that ThunderClan would be in good paws. Now, for the best part of her job- the good news. "Then I, Dreamstar, call upon the rest of my warrior ancestors."The grey she-cat turned her head up to the stars, her sapphire eyes powerful and ominous. "This apprentice has been trained well to understand the medicine cat's noble code and I commend her to you as a medicine cat in her turn." The she-cat's sapphire eyes flickered back down to Bellpaw, a smile upon her face. "Do you promise to uphold that code, to protect and heal your clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Bellpaw nodded "I do." She probally didn't understand the full responsipility of being medicine cat of ThunderClan but she was still proud to be having her ceremony. Sighing she though that it would be much better if Moonclaw were here right now.

"Then, by the powers of Starclan, I give you your true medicine cat name. Bellpaw, from this moment on, you will be known as Bellrose." Dreamstar looked the apprentice in the eyes, a smile still on her face. You'll do fine... How she was taking her mentor's death was a sign of it. She could cope with death, one of the main things a medicine cat needed to understand. She also had a well rounded sense of humor...something that comes in handy when you're dealing with the pressures of being a medicine cat.
The grey she-cat purred and straightened her pose. She still wasn't through with her job yet."Starclan Honors you, and we welcome you as the new ThunderClan medicine cat." One down... The she-cat's gaze flickered from Bellrose for a moment to Featherpaw, still standing in the background. One to go. Her sapphire eyes returned to Bellrose, nodding respectfully. "We will never be far," She promised.

Thump, Thump Solsticeflight felt his heart jump out to the beautiful she cat. But, once idnightrose had spoken he wished he had never showed her how he really felt. Solsticeflight padded after Midnightrose his head in a daze. A warm fuzzy feeling was trying to work it's way up his body as he was around Midnightrose. Was it really, love. Solsticeflight tried to consintrate on what really mattered but, he couldn't help but. swim in her eyes and fall into a daze as her voice rung around him. Solsticeflight watched where she took him. "Why are we back in camp,"Solsticeflight croaked. |

Midnightrose could hear his heart thumping, and she sighed nervously. He was a medicine cat, he could not love her. And who would love her? Midnightrose felt bad as she could tell she hurt him and he wished he didn't show his feelings. "I'm sorry.." She trailed off as she knewshe could not fix what had been broken so fast. Growing more determinded, Midnightrose mewed, "Solsticeflight, I need you to concentrate on what is around you. I want you to listen." If the tom concentrated he would hear the endless wailing from all the cats around him that were now visible. The she-cat could not look away from him, her eyes locked with his ice blue eyes. Her look was filled with seriousness at what she was showing him. Midnightrose let a creep of affection enter her eyes by accident. |

Solsticeflight strained his ears. Yowls of terror and wails of pain sliced through the air. Solsticeflight felt his heart ring out to them as he heard the cry of a kit. He shut his eyes and pictured the cats in terror. He scented the air and a tangy scent danced disgustedly on the roof of his mouth. "What's wrong with them,"Solsticeflight pleaded as he tried to force himself to stay with Midnightrose. I must help them,"Solsticeflight wailed and began to walk forward.

Bellrose nodded. "Thank you." then she stepped back to where she had been standing before. She nudged Featherpaw and signaled that she was probaly next.

Dreamstar nodded as Bellrose went to sit by Featherpaw. She needs to work on being more serious... Being a medicine cat wasn't all rainbows and butterflies- sometimes it could be grim. Cats died and the medicine cat needed to be ready to accept that. The grey she-cat shook her head slightly, her sapphire eyes flashing over to Featherpaw. Bellrose was probably just handling her loss a different way. "Featherpaw," She meowed, an appologetic gleam in her usually happy sapphire eyes. "I guess you know why you're here."

Spiralpaw's tail twitched, and his nose twitched. He felt strange, he had never gotten this kind of warning before, it was scary, he was only an apprentice and he still needed to cary on many duties. The one thing he couldn't figure out was why RiverClan and WindClan's problems were his Clans to bare. Pineclaw licked his head, and he felt a faint breeze pass over him, as if she was not even there, and hadn't touched him with her starry body. "D-don't go!" The tabby apprentice called, but it was too late, she was gone. Close to tears for the devastation that would be advancing soon, Spiralpaw closed his eyes and heaved a sigh.
With a jolt, Spiralpaw opened his eyes, and raised his head. T-the Moonpool! He thought to himself in astonishment. He was back in the small stone hollow, with his companions sleeping soundly next top him. Bellpaw on one side, Featherpaw on the other. The brown tabby pelt shivered and stood on end in the cold, and he nuzzled closer to Bellpaw's body searching for warmth.

Speckledfeather stirred slightly as someone nudged her pelt. So quickly? Something wasn't right...she could feel it. The silver medicine cat's head shot up as the starry she-cat mentioned the word danger. "Not more..." was all she could reply. Without waiting for a response she rose to her paws, her shortened stature even smaller then the StarClan she-cat's. It didn't bother her right now...she needed to know what was going on now before it was to late.
Her kits... The words popped into the back of the silver tabby's mind. Was StarClan still upset with her because she had broken the code? Speckledfeather's green gaze looked past the she-cat, scanning for the familiar pelt of the silver StarClan cat. But she didn't see her....
Did that mean she wanted to talk to her later? The silver medicine cat shook her head, trying to concentrate on more important things. She couldn't worry about that now. All she could do was find out more information so she could prevent more pain in her clan. "Show me what I need to see," Speckledfeather meowed, a little more forceful then she should have been with a StarClan cat. She couldn't help that she was coming off like that...these were her kits they were talking about.

Wintersong looked at the worried medicine cat gently. ''Danger'' she whispered again asshe faded into the dark. You could hear the sound of scratching, biting, and the sound of screeching and growling. The wind suddenly became really strong and thunder rumbled in the sky and the mysterious sounds stopped. ''Danger'' whispered the starry cat before she disappeared completely.

Featherpaw listened silently and respectfully as Bellpaw received her medicine cat name. As they would when they woke up, Featherpaw gently chanted Bellrose's new name. As she came back to sit next to her, she slightly nuzzled against her. Congratulations. She said in her ear, proud for friend. She then heard Dreamstar speak. She nodded her head, knowing precisely why she was here. She felt the nudge from Bellrose and turned her head toward her and gave her a look of mock anger. She then smiled and padded to Dreamstar. She bowed her head. Hello Dreamstar. She said respectufuly. She looked into the eyes of the StarClan cat and waited for her own ceremony to begin.
