A white shape brushed into the marsh, his emerald gaze filled with hate. Whitedawn. The darkness surrounding the marsh, thick mist wrapped around his legs, the cattails blew around in the wind. He glanced around, two birds flew past him, chasing each other. He couldn't help but smile, he thought he had something with Sunstrean, but now, he couldn't even see her again, talk to her, none of that. "W..Wha- What's wrong with me," he murmured as it started to rain. Two frogs hopped by, together, as happy as could be. It seemed everyone in the forest was happy, except him. "Am.. I.. A..- A monster..?" he asked himself, anger filling his eyes. Yes, you are, someting inside him told him. But, only you Whitedawn, can answer that, not me, the voice whispered. "W..Who are you?" he asked softly, looking around for somebody. Im in your mind, stupid, hissed the voice. Whitedawn shuddered. Something else was in him, building up his hatred. "Who are you?" he thundered, the wind blowing his pelt. The rain wasn't letting up either, his eyes constantly buffeted by the rain getting in his eyes. He snarled again. "Who ARE you?" he yowled. He heard laughter in his mind. "What is wrong with me?" he asked himself. The wind seemed to make a hissing sound as it flew by. "Everything" meowed a voice, and Whitedawn shook, there, behind him was his father, his evil, father. Hauntwing. "What do you want father?" asked Whitedawn, being pushed aside by the wind. "There is always a time of forgiving," murmured the shadowy cat. "You'll never be forgiven!" howled Whitedawn, unsheathing his deadly claws. Hauntwing laughed, "Look at you" he meowed, smiling. "Just like me," taunted the dead cat. "I'll never be like you!" he screamed through the wind, and moved onto a tall rock. Hauntwing shuddered, but continued. "It's to late son, I told you when you were little that'd you bring a new dawn, a new strength, and I was right,"
Whitedawn let our a angry cry, but he was right, Whitedawn was crazy.
"I wont follow in your paw prints!" screamed Whitedawn, leaping off the rock he was on, and right at Hauntwing, but Hauntwing vanished, and Whitedawn was sent for a pile of rocks.
Snap, was the only thing you could hear, other than
Hauntwing, laughing into the horizon.
