Solsticeflight woke with a jolt as he heard so many voices, some calling his name. He had been dreaming that he was walking through the mist when he spotted a black she cat curled up with two kits, a ginger and a grey, curled up in the crease of her belly. The she cat he had saw had turned and starred at him. Solsticeflight had then reconized Midnightrose a dead warrior of Thunderclan. But she had never had kit's tey had died, Solstiiceflight thought. He had remembered Moonclaw, the medicine cat of Thunderclan telling him that the kits had died. Solsticeflight dripped honey down the kits mouths to sooth their throats. "Good work Spiralpaw,"Solsticeflight meowed as he congratulated his apprentice. "How are you feeling Twilightstar,"Solsticeflight asked the leader.

Twilightstar looked down at her paws, "Yes, thank you so much." She murmured, the image of badgers lingering in her mind. She looked around and forced herself to be strong for the Clan. Twilightstar's feelings didn't matter, her Clan mattered. She returned her gaze to Solsticeflight and hoped he wouldn't be able to tell she almost cried.

As she was walking around camp,she heard lot's of voices coming from the medicine cats den. She made her way through the bramble entrance, to see TwilightStar, the leader, awake. She bounded over towards her and meowed," Good, I see you are all better. We were all worried about you." SHe looked into her keaders eyes and noticed they were wet. I wonder whats wrong.

Solsticeflight pain stab through him as he saw the look in the troubled leaders eyes. She must be bothered, Solsticefligt thought. He would talk to her as soon as he was alone with his leader. Solsticeflight began to check the kits over and then he checked Bushtail. "Seems as if you will all pull through,"Solsticeflight meowed and he then padded over to Spottedfire. "Did you take care of the poison,"Solsticeflight hissed.

She looked over at the medicine cat, Solsticeflight. "I already told you, yes. Me and Foxpaw did. What is up with you? Your not acting the same," she meowed. Then she looked outside of the den. I need to get patrols going. I'll do that right away. She then waited for her leader to answer her eariler question.

Solsticeflight shook his head. Spottedfire was right he was acting different. He had all the weight of the others on his shoulders and now he had the weight of this dream on his shoulder. He looked to Starclan for answers preying that they would come. He sighed and settled down. He checked on the kits and Bushtail and then Twilightstar. "You'll all be okay,"Solsticeflight hissed. He then padded out of his den in search of something to get his mind off of sickness.

Twilightstar wondered what was up with Solsticeflight, he was not the same at all. Solsticeflight was immensely worried about something. Noticing Spottedfire in the entranceway, Twilightstar mewed, "Please oraganize the patrols and I'm glad to be better too, thank you." She smiled at the diligent Spottedfire and then padded out of the medicine cat's den to get some rest in her own den.
