[This is just a starter thread, since all of my other cherries are in plot threads. I need someone to start it off  ] The night sky shown down briliently upon the Island. The night sky was clear and a gental breeze wafted through the otherwise still air. For now, StarClan was peaceful shinning up in the sky. But there was an ominous dread that hung in the air, and almost everyone knew what it was from. |

The full moon rose overhead, illuminating the silver leader's fur. The light shimmered and danced off of the lake and Crystalstar's pelt, merging together so you could not see who was who. Gracefully, the new leader crept up the tree, and with her claws, scaled it silently. Her large silver eyes surveyed the forest beneath her - the view was dizzying! Crystalpool had to fight back tears as she knew that this would be her first Gathering as the Leader of RiverClan - being the first to arrive, she would show the other leaders that although she was new to the role, she could lead her Clan as well as any of them. Flamestar arrived, followed by his clan. He spotted Crystalstar and nooded '' Greetings, Crystalstar, is all well?'' he meowed. Flmaestar sat down and waited till the other clans came.
Willowbreeze of Thunderclan, padded into the island, she looked around wanting to spot someone to talk to. She saw nobody she could gossip with so she laid down and waited till everyone arrives.

Twilightstar padded into the clearing, followed by her clan. She gazed around the clearing with her ice blue eyes, which rested on Crystalstar. This will be Crystalstar's first gathering as leader of RiverClan. Twilightstar jumped onto a branch next to Crystalstar and mewed, "Greetings Crystalpool, how is RiverClan?"

Crystalstar nodded to the other two leaders. Inwardly, she reeled at being so close to them in amazement. "I'm afraid all is not well in RiverClan." She mewed, silver eyes sorrowful. "How about your Clans?" she mewed politely. Her tail swept off of the branch and flicked lazily from side to side. Without seeming too concerned, she checked beneath her, searching for her Clan. She cursed herself for sending a patrol out so soon before a Gathering, but with the Badgers around, she never could be too concerned. [/sup][/color] |

"I'm sorry to hear that." Twilightstar mewed, wondering why Crystalpool was there instead of the leader of RiverClan. "ShadowClan is better." Twilightstar glanced around the clearing full of cats from every clan. Her ice blue gaze returned to Crystalpool, awaiting a reply. |

[glow=red,2,300]Twilightstar smiled warily at Flamestar, only StarClan knows that her clan wasn't doing very well. ShadowClan usually thrived, but now they only had a few warriors. "It is good to hear that your clan is well." Twilightstar mewed politely in a light tone to Flamestar.[/glow]

Bellpaw raced to the island slowing to a stop as she neared the fallen tree that was said to of killed the evil Mudclaw. Walking across she unsheathed her claws to make sure she didnt fall. A trickle of blood fell into the water below her. After she had crossed she smelt every clan was here. She sat at the end of the trunk looking back in hope of seeing the all familier black and white pelt she adored.

Crystalstar watched the cats below, thinking of the prophecy that was related to her only moments before. What could it mean? She wondered as she waited. "I am glad to know that WindClan and ShadowClan are well, however, where is Sapphirestar?" she mewed. She couldn't tell her news without ThunderClan there. [/sup][/color] |

The young medicine cat finally reached the island, bags under her eyes and as tired as three cats. As soon as she approached the log she was hit by a sudden dizzy feeling, so large it was like a wave, and darkness washed over the cat. Unconsciously, the Medicine Cat went tumbling off the log and into the river below... [/sup][/color] |

Bellpaw smelt the Windclan medicine cat appronching and hid behind a nearby bush. Peeking out she was in time to see the medicine cat falling into the river below. Yowling she thoughlessly jumped into the river. She opened her mouth to yowl and swallowed icy water. Bellpaw stuggled to get her breath as she reached the top and looked around for the medicine cat. She saw the limp gray figure ahead of her and started paddling furiosly twored her. Her head bobbed up and down as she swam twored Speckledfeather. The water around her was lightly stained red and her forehead burned in pain. She made it to the medicine cat and grabbed her scruff. She was a while away from shore but struggled to make it. Speckledfeather dragged Bellpaw down a few times and the apprentice felt like she was going to explode if she didn't get air. Starclan help!"

At the splash from the river, Crystalstar's head jerked up. Even though it was dangerous, the leader leapt from the tree without thinking. A split-second decision landed her on her lame paw, potentially crippling it. She dove into the river, and paddling with three strong paws, dragged the apprentice out of the river. "Are you okay? Why were you in the river?" the leader asked, unaware that the medicine cat was drowning. Crystalstar clung to the riverbank with her good front paw, letting the pained one limp. [/sup][/color] |

Bellpaw coughed out water as Crystalpool put her on shore. Taking in a deep breath she said "Speckledfeather!" jumping up to her feet she looked around for the familier gray shape. "Shes in the river!" The apprentice ran up and down the bank helplessly looking for the Windclan Medicine Cat. No no oh no. she thought. Her wound on her head was swollen and red. "SPECKLEDFEATHER!" she yowled pitiously. She coulden't lose her when Speckledfeather had been her friend for so long. |
