Sapphirestar shook her head, but joy suddenly sprung up in her as she realized what had happened. Aslan is here! Aslan is looking over us! the sapphire she-cat could hardly keep her jouy inside herself, and it took an incredible will to stop her from bursting in exitement. But she manadged to look calm and composed in the end, although her eyes shone like stars. That she manadged to hide that too after a while, and, she hoped before anyone noticed.
Now the ThunderClan leader tried to take interest in what was going on below, and succeeded quite well as she caught someone's whispered words, "Amberpaw, can you keep a secret?". But she quickly turned her ears away and licked her pelt hurridly. That conversation was not for her ears, and she did not want to hear it.

Speckledfeather couldn't help but notice the ThunderClan's leaders observation, and she purred as she padded over to Sapphirestar. "I remember when I was an apprentice. I thought the biggest secret was where my mentor's secret stash of herbs was!" she churred, happy. "How are you, Sapphirestar"

Sapphirestar purred. "Very well, and you?" she was indeed in a very joyous mood after glimpsing the Great Lion. "I remember that wen I was a kit, I thought the biggest secret was how to get down a tree once you were up. It took me quite a while to figure it out, and I'm not sure how my mother did to put up with having to climb up a tree every few moments to rescue me"

Speckledfeather chuckled. "I am doing well. I was never much of a tree climber myself, I always was sniffing around the roots for the plants!" ((Can Speckled believe in Aslan too? It'd be a weird connection!))

Amberpaw nodded to Sapphirestar and padded away from the group of cats, her eyes swimming with confusion. Once the were out of ear shot, the apprentice turned back to Bellpaw. "Now what is this about?," She asked, shaking her fur again. "If its about Sapphirestar's behavior tonight, I already noticed." She looked back to her leader, who was now talking to Speckledfeather. "Weird!?" She meowed aloud.

"Don't worry I noticed but I could tell you knew. she purred. It's just when we were hunting I saw something..... I would think your keen eye would of noticed but it seems like it didn't. It's something I will tell Moonclaw about it and I think its a sign from Starclan. I think its important. What I saw it wasen't normal.... it was, a HUGE tiger, a bloody tiger. When I looked at it it stared at me with dark black eyes and then I chased it. I coulden't stop myself from chasing it and when I did it faded away..... Do you understand why I can't just tell everyone? But your just special. she told Amberpaw and winked.

Amberpaw shook her head. "I didn't see anything on the way," She meowed, feeling a little odd. " I saw you dart after something but I thought you may have seen some herbs or something." The apprentice sat down and looked up at the clouds. "Maybe StarClan sent you a sign?"[This was a good idea Bell since it goes well with the upcomming plot ^^ But next time be sure to pm me the idea before hand  ] |

Bellpaw knew that Amberpaw didn't see it or she would of told her. But if it's a sign what does it mean?she asked. She tryied not to think about it. She realized that Speckledfeather had walked away from Moonclaw, the only thing keeping her from telling Moonclaw was her fear. Starclan why did you send me a sign. I can't take the presure. she prayed then sighed. She dipped her head to thank Amberpaw for the help and walked away. [ O.k. Dreamstar I'llwait till I know what the plot is. ] |

Speckledfeather couldn't help but hear snippets of their anxious mews. She had been born with amazing hearing, and even in their whisper, she heard "Tiger, blood, sign, and starclan" Speckledfeather was worried now. She hadn't had this sign, would she?

Moonclaw just watched both Bellpaw, and Speckledfeather walk away. "Well, this gives me some time for myself I supposed," he said quietly to himself.
He laid down onto his paws and was about to fall asleep for a quick nap, but something kept him up. A shining light in the sky. "What...Is that?..."he wondered. Usually, when a StarClan warrior shines like this, it means that someone wants to tell him something. But who? he thought.

Dreamstar turned to Duskfeather, her grey head tilted in humor and confusion. "You wish to speak to this medicine cat after the gathering?," She asked, a slight smile appearing on her face.
Duskfeather nodded. "I think he can handle a small sign right now," She mewed, her eyes gazing back down to Moonclaw. Hopefully they will understand..[/i] The patched medicine cat thought, worry creasing on her forhead.

Sapphirestar watched the gathered cats for a moment before turning back to the WindClan medicine cat. She too had caught a whisp of the cat's conversations, but she had only heard "Blood, black eyes" and "special", which all didn't mean much alone. Surely Aslan's coming was a good sign?
(I PMed Cherry about the plot's details, and I had thought that maybe one of the apprentices or meddies could find out about it *I have my own little story about that* before even reading your post, so you could be it!! but then you won't know about it until some time, when ******, **** sorry, can't reveal! top secret!!)

(Sure! I'd love that!) Speckledfeather's eyes met the leader's eyes levelly and cooly. "Probably just gossip" she mewed, in part to reassure herself, and in part to reassure the Sapphirestar, who Speckledfeather was sure, had heard the two apprentices.

Sapphirestar nodded. She hadn't been alarmed much by the incoherent parts she had heard. Bellpaw was maybe describing a desease she had had to treat, or something else... but the "black eyes" part just didn't fit in. Oh well, she thought, StarClan knows, and they shall tell me all in good time, if this has a significance. "Where is your leader? I do not see her" the sapphire she-cat asked to change the subject. Sapphirestar was still thinking of the Great Lion, but she pushed that at the back of her mind, hoping Spekledfeather hadn't noticed it. (maybe she could...hmm)
