Swiftstar's breathing finally slowed to a normal pace and she stepped forward to address the happenings in RiverClan. "RiverClan is faring well this moon. A new apprentice, Sunpaw, has been named. I'm proud to be mentoring the little one myself."
She took a step back and allowed another leader to speak. |

Bellpaw bowed her head as her leader called her name. She was sure her mother would be proud of her. Unfortuanitly she cannot be sure. [Lame post but i have to go  ] |

flamestar raced to the gathering not limping anymore. Speckledfeather had just said that she loved him. He couldnt believe it and knew that it was wrong but he shook himself and jumped beside the leaders and quickly licked his ruffled fur. "i guees I came on time to speak" he meowed. "Well all is well in Windclan our prey is plentiful too, luckily none of our cats had the white cough: he finished still breathless after running. He sighed and stepped back waiting for the shadowclan representative to speak.

Speckledfeather's eyes gleamed at her love, giving him strength and courage. He loved her! On one side of her, she was so happy, she wanted to tell StarClan themselves! But the other side was horrified! This wasn't the warrior code! How could she be both a Medicine Cat and a mate?

Flamestar spotted speckledfeather and nodded to her. He was happy that none of feelings showed. "Where is Rosestar" he asked the other leaders but his thoughts were remebering the warrior code he was taught aand what will happen between him and his medicine cat.

Speckledfeather was the stony figure of a loyal medicine cat, and nothing betrayed her as being Flamestar's lover, only her eyes. And only Flamestar could see the way her eyes sparkled for him, and him alone.

Flamestar stared at her for one moment knowing her feelings though his eyes showed nothing exept the gratitude for taking the thorn out of his pad.

Sapphirestar narrowed her eyes at the bold WindClan leader as he spoke without waiting for an answer, but she lashed her tail suspiciously as she noticed the look that passed between him and his medicine cat. She hoped that she had seen wrong, and looked away uncomfortably before anyone noticed. Was that love she had seen?
it might just be affection she thouht, trying to convince herself more than anything. In any case, it is not my business to care. Or was it?

Speckledfeather smiled at her leader, and then her gaze shifted to Sapphirestar's. The leader's eyes were narrowed, almost hostile! Speckledfeather flinched, and glanced away guiltily.

As she looked up, Sapphirestar's gaze was caught by Speckledfeather's, and it hardened into a glare. The sapphire she-cat was troubled. Sapphirestar realised that she liked the grey tabby she-cat, and that most of the hostility was actually hiding concern in what would happen to Speckledfeather if the secret was discovered. But the other part of her was revolted at the fact that it was against the warrior code. Sapphirestar licked her ruffled chest fur applicably, hiding her feelings. No one but Speckledfeather had noticed, and that was quite enough.

Flamestar glanced at Saphirestar and noticed her narrowed eyes, understanding ias a warning. He nodded respectually to her knowing she was staring at him because he had been impolite. He hoped she hadn't noticed the glance between him and Speckledfeather. "Eh.." he looked at the ThunderClan leader.
((Note from Sapphirestar: I changed a couple of things after a talk I had with Shimmering at school. ^^ ))
