A pale tabby face moved from side to side, quite like a lashing tail might, but with slower movement. Eyes flashed open to reveal a beautiful shade of deep blue, it mingled with the pale gray color of this young she-cats soft silky fur. Dawn light shone through the brambles of the ThunderClan warriors den, and Sirensong, the young she-cat described, awoke to the pale light. Making no sound, a paw shuffled, and shinning whiskers twitched, she was waking up to the early morning light. A soft pink tongue swiped around a silver muzzle, light gray in this light, and her ears pricked as movement sounded outside. Apprentices were play-fighting outside, and Sirensong grinned at they're energy. Lifting her head for a moment, the young warrior peered outside of the den to watch them before it fell back with exaustion. Looking around the den behind her, as a young warrior she was on the ends of the massive bramble bush, there were all kinds of pelts that were mingling together in the morning light. Grays, tortoiseshells, blacks and gingers, all migling closely, as if sharing a secret not to be heard. Sighing, Sirensong turned her head back and blinked her beautiful deep blue eyes.

A quiet sigh noted the return of a black and white apprentice. Beneath the vole in the she-cat's mouth, a huge grin was visible- teeth and all. It was her first catch since the badgers had attacked ThunderClan...and the first time she had been allowed outside of the camp walls. Bellpaw had been extremely strict with her, making sure that she didn't push herself to hard...or do anything for that matter. The only times Amberpaw had escaped the camp walls was when Bellpaw had asked her to help collect herbs.
It was nice getting back into the swing of things, hunting especially. The black and white she-cat had missed the feel of the forest floor under her paws, the exhilaration of chasing after a robin. It was her favorite thing to do, and Amberpaw hadn't been able to do anything for nearly a moon. She padded over to the fresh-kill pile, gently laying the vole down in the small group of prey already there. I should go out hunting later on today... It had been something she did daily and it irritated her to see the pile so low. And in Green Leaf! Amberpaw shook her head and looked around the camp, her light, topaz eyes searching for someone to talk to. Finally, her eyes locked onto a pale tabby face. Smiling, the black and white she-cat made her way over to the warrior's den, sitting down by the entrance. "Good morning Sirensong," She greeted, keeping her voice low so she didn't disturb the other warriors. "Nice day isn't it?"

Blue eyes flickered open as a noise sounded ahead. A black and white apprentice was depositing her fresh-kill on the pile, Sirensong lifted her head off of her moss bedding and blinked before dropping it down and twitching her whiskers. Amberpaw's topaz blue eyes darted around until they rested on Sirensong's gray face. Noticing the young she-cat started walking over to her, the young warrior flicked her tail to give a late invitation and sat up. Good morning Sirensong. Nice day isn't it? Holding back a groan, the gray she-cat stood on her front paws while her back legs sat limp on the ground. "Yes, it is a nice morning." Blinking her eyes to wake herself, Sirensong sighed and tensed her back legs. They felt sore, probably because of all the hunting and strain she caused them the previouse night, but never the less she woke them up and padded out of the Warriors Den so the two could talk. Sitting, the gray tabby she-cat cast a few swift licks on her chest and stared at the small apprentice, her blue eyes wide open.

Amberpaw frowned slightly, maybe she had come at a bad time. "If you're still tired I can go," She replied, not wanting to upset the warrior. It was a little to early for anyone to really be up. The only reason she had been up was to go hunting while Bellpaw was away. The black and white she-cat's topaz gaze flickered up to a robin in the nearby tree, her gaze locking onto the preys. Slowly, the she-cat pulled herself away from the bird. If Bellpaw knew she had pushed herself so much, the medicine cat would have a fit.

Sirensong laughed, and her eyes closed for a moment as the laughter over took her. Oops. The gray she-cat thought as she heard a warrior stur from inside the bramble den. Curling her tail in amusement, she locked her gaze with Amberpaw's. "No, it's fine. Just, I'm waking up, that's all." Truthully, Sirensong was glad the black and white apprentice in front of her had walked over to talk, if she hadn't then this blue eyed beauty would have fallen alseep and not woken up until sun high. "How has your training been going, Amberpaw? Sirensong asked with a twitch of her ears. The apprentices gaze was climbing a tree, and when her blue eyes followed she noticed the she was watching a robin high up in the tree tops.

Amberpaw pulled herself away from the robin again, realizing that she had been looking at it again. "Not so well actually," She admitted, frowning slightly. "Things have been difficult after the badgers attacked." Actually, she hadn't done much training at all since she was injured- Bellpaw wouldn't allow it. The black and white apprentice knew that her friend was only thinking of her well being...but the more time she spent in camp not training, the farther away her ceremony became. It didn't matter if she caught all the robins in the territory, if Sapphirestar didn't see or think she was ready, Amberpaw would be stuck as an apprentice forever. The apprentice let out a small sigh, her topaz eyes fluttering back up to the robin, who seemed to be taunting her inability to catch him.

Sirensong shot a sympathetic glance at the apprentices, and curled her tail neatly around her small paws. An idea popped into her head, and the tip of her tail twitched at the thought of it. What if she took Amberpaw out training? She would watch over her, Bellpaw wouldn't be back for sometime, and Amberpaw needed to be taught properly. "Amberpaw?" The light silver tabby asked in an excited tone. "Would you like to go to train with me?" Sirensong focused her gaze on the young apprentice, the deep blue dpths fluttering with excitement. Breathing deeply, the young female camed down and with one last gleam in her eyes composed herself.

Amberpaw's topaz eyes flashed back to Sirensong, her gaze mirroring the warrior's excitement. She opened her mouth to agree but then paused in mid sentence, remembering her talk with her mentor, Sapphirestar, last night. "Sapphirestar said she was taking me on a patrol," She replied, somewhat disappointed. The apprentice wanted to go out and train...she hadn't been able to in almost a moon! But she didn't know what the leader had in store for her after the patrol...and Sapphirestar was her mentor. "Would you like to go some other time?," Amberpaw prompted, smiling somewhat apologetically but still tinted with excitement.

Chocked, Sirensong felt chocked for a moment. But not too long, she just couldn't speak, it was disappointing. The strong willed she-cat did not show her disappointment, to the black-and-white apprentice. Instead, Sirensong smiled and blinked her deep blue eyes. "That's fine, too. As long as you get out of camp, right?" The silver tip of the young she-cats tail twitched, and she realized how hungry she was. Glancing at the fresh-kill pile, she spotted a plump vole, and her mouth watered. Nodding to the small apprentice, she bounded over, gripped it's flesh in her sharp teeth, and ran back. "Would you like some?" Sirensong asked politely, her disappointment alomost forgotten.

Amberpaw grinned impishly. "Of this evil vole," She meowed, remembering the hassle it took her to catch it. She paused for a moment, mocking the idea of if she should eat the vole or not. "Sure." The apprentice bent down and took a small bite of the vole, her mouth savoring the taste of it. Her topaz eyes flickered back up to the robin as she munched, narrowing as he continued to taunt her. "Evil robin.." She muttered mostly to herself, swallowing her mouthful.

At that moment, Sapphirestar peeked into the warrior's den. She had looked around camp and, after a fruitless search -as the apprentice seemed to move at the speed of sound- she had resorted to follow her scent. "Amberpaw, the dawn patrol is leaving soon" she meowed. Her gaze flicked to the vole. "Could you meet us at the entrance as soon as you're done your meal?

Sirensong laughed, her tail high in the cool morning air, and took a bite of the vole. It was so juicy and plump, she savored every bite of it. She closed her eyes for a moment while swallowing the last piece of prey, and blue eyes flashed open as she heard the voice of her leader. Amberpaw was going on patrol? Maybe she could go, too. The gray she-cat rose to all four paws and twitched her ears toward Peachpelt, the ThunderClan deputy, who was already waiting for the young apprentice. "I'll go, too. A patrol of four is better than three." Dipping her head to her leader, Sirensong licked Amberpaw's ear warmly before making her way over to the ginger tabby that was ThunderClan's deputy. Amberpaw shook her head and Sirensong licked her ear. "Hey!," She complained playfully, swatting at the place the warrior had just been. Still laughing, the apprentice got to her paws and followed Sapphirestar and Sirensong, wondering if there was going to be anything interesting on the patrol.

Sapphirestar frowned slightly. There were already too many cats on the patrol! But the warrior had not left her time to speak... sighing, Sapphirestar made her way to the meeting place.
