((Sorry it sucks, lack of muse. ))
The small leader surveyed her camp quietly from where she sat, or rather, lay, outside her den. It was about mid-morning, yet already the sky was darkening to match the leader's pelt. Ever since she had recovered from the DarkForest cat's attack on her, she had begun to notice the subtle beauty in everything around her - the falling leaves, the snow that lay upon the ground. That had only been a dusting though, and now the ground was dry as hay. Sighing, she turned her silver eyes to the sky, and the wind blew her clean, groomed fur around, playing with it. Sighing, she hoped that her Clan had begun to trust her again; The fact that they might never again weighed at her heart as heavy as anything, and Crystalstar felt like she needed their acceptance, their love. It was the thing she had missed most, the thing she needed most, and yet she felt like she didn't have. A tear welled up in her eyes briefly, but she pushed it aside, not ready to cry today. A large noise echoed above her, and the cat leapt up, just as the rain fell upon her shoulders. Ears bent from the weight of it, she slunk off of the rock, graceful as ever. Reaching the ground, her keen ears picked something up, and she whirled around, nose searching for a scent to aid her. Focusing on a few shadows that already had appeared by the entrance, she hissed, drawing her back up, and claws out. "RIVERCLAN! THERE'S AN EMERGENCY!" Dashing forward towards the badgers that had appeared, the lone cat rocketed towards them, shadowed by the heavenly cats. Raking one's forehead, she used her size as an advantage in this battle, ducking under the same animal and leaping onto another's back, biting into the scruff. The bleeding one lashed out, hitting it's comrade on the back as she leapt agilely onto a third, ripping at it's ear. As the badger swung it's head around, Crystalstar clung for dear life to it, digging her claws in. Her grip loosened, and panic filled her heart as she crashed to the ground, about to rise when a large paw pinned her down. Writhing under it, she tried scratching the back of it's leg to no avail, screaming now in pain as it's claws dug into her, waiting for the fangs to descend. [/sup]

Ribbonkit padded wearilly out of the nursery and felt a raindrop fall on his nose. "Ug!" he hissed, shaking his head as he felt another drop fall on him. Looking up again, Ribbonkit heard his leader shout, "RIVERCLAN! THERE'S AN EMERGENCY!" Terrified, Ribbonkit turned tail and scrambled back into the nursery as he saw massive black-and-white creatures lumbering into the camp.

Stormfrost ran into the clearing She had heard Crystalstar yell, "RIVERCLAN! THERE'S AN EMERGENCY!" Stormfrost looked around the clearing, trying to figure out what the emergency was. Then she caught a movement at the entrance of the camp. The rain was falling thick on her pelt, making scents useless and unidentifiable. The black and white creatures made their way into camp. Quickly one had got the fallen Crystalstar, pinning Crystalstar to the ground with it's massive paw.
"Badgers!" Stormfrost yelled across the clearing as loud as she could. "Get the elders, kits, and queens to the nursery! Quickly!" She demanded rushing to her den to grab herbs that she would need for the battle. This is going to end badly, she thought. "Breezepaw! Help me get the herbs for the battle, then we need to get to the nursery." She called to her apprentice, hoping Breezepaw could hear here over the badgers. She shook her head before her apprentice arrived. Have more faith, she demanded herself. This isn't the time for doubts anyways, it's time to get the herbs ready for major injuries.

Breezepaw snapped her head up from where she was resting in her nest. "Breezepaw! Help me get the herbs for the battle, then we need to get to the nursery," she heard her mentor call to her. Instantly, Breezepaw scrambled to her feet and dashed off the where the medicial supplies were. She grabbed up any herbs she could carry in her jaws then raced off to the nursery. Inside, she saw Ribbonkit cowering in his nest. "Ribbonkit? Would you like to help me get some herbs?" she asked the tiny black scrap. --- Shadepaw bounded into camp, his fur bristling. He had heard Crystalstar's call, and he could smell a faint but definite scent of badgers. 'Okay, Shadepaw. You can do this,' he told himself before launching himself onto the badger that had Crystalstar pinned down. He dug his claws into its already-matted fur and chomped down on it's ear as hard as he could.

A horrible snarl emitted from a white maw, black claws extended and emerald eyes gleamed at the badgers. Eyes narrowed, the white deputy sped in front of the nursery and glanced at Ribbonkit, inside the nursery, "Don't leave here, you understand me," he growled, keeping and eye on the badgers and another on Ribbonkit. "I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't want you to get hurt," he meowed, as he watched the badgers again. "Stay" he stated, his tone growing to a growl as he leaped at the black and white monster. Hanging for dear life on the back of the badger, he dug his claws deep into its' fur. He opened his paw to show pearly white teeth, Whitedawn flinched a bit, but still hung on. He waited till the badger was in the perfect position, right in front of the high rock. "Perfect.." he purred quietly, letting go as the badger slammed into the high rock. He let out a small, growled laughter and ran back towards the nursery.

Icestorm ran into the camp, the back way. She quickly spotted cats all around the clearing. Her twin sister and her sister's apprentice was gathering herbs from the medicine cat den and bringing it back to the nursery. The young kit, Ribbonkit, rushing in fear from the shades approaching the camp. Crystalstar had already been attacked by one at the base of the Riverstone. Shadepaw had raced past Icestorm to help Crystalstar.
They obviously don't need my help, she snorted in her own mind. She couldn't help but be arrogant, even at a time as bad as this. Whitedawn was attacking a different badger not far off. Icestorm saw two other black and white creatures lurking closer to the nursery. Icestorm's eyes blazed as two of them got closer. She leaped at the first one knocking it over, then took a slash at the other one, but only catching the fur. She left the first one and bit the second one's back leg. The second badger snapped at her, trying to get her off. But Icestorm held on as long as she could. It wasn't long till the first one got up and batted her off as if she were a kit.
The blow had taken a direct hit on her side, but she had gotten worse injuries before. She lunged for the first one, sinking her teeth into it's leg. The second one knocked her off not long after. It was the same spot the first on had hit her. She coughed in pain, eye's blazing all the more. At least I can get their attention away from the nursery, she told herself. The two badgers were teaming up on her, she wouldn't last long.

Sunstream padded out by the nursery she had just given birth and was exhausted, kits were a BIG responsibility. Yet she would die for her kits. Suddenly the alarmed aura of her clanmates shocked her and she was immediatly on guard. Suddenly the same black in white figures that had haunted her for.... a looonnnggg time burst through camp. "THE KITS!" she squealed immediatly running back into the nursery. "Horizonkit, Berrykit, Ivorykit! Report!" she screamed, turning back towerds the nursery entrance expecting the badgers to burst through any second. (Report means just come to Sunstream and say your ok... if you dont come well then your not ok lol.)

It all started with a little rain. Lullabykit was snoozing outside the nursery, a little to the left of it, her chest was gently rising and falling with the rhythm of her small chest. It was cold outside, but she didn't notice until she was conscious. The first thing she noted when she was forcefully awakened was the rain falling on her head, stomach [seeing as she was lying on her back] and eyes. She gaped a huge yawn, then shivered delicately. Then she noticed how freezing it was. Consequence of the rain, she thought. The gray she-cat padded out of her mossy nest on the left side of the nursery wall, and shook her fur, puffing it up against the steady wind. 'RIVERCLAN! THERE'S AN EMERGENCY!' Crystalstar? The next thing Lullabykit was aware of, was Whitedawn and Sunstream running in and out of the nursery in such a haste it made her dizzy just watching. Then she saw Crystalstar, pinned down by some thing big, .. and white, and black, ... with big, beady eyes. She let out a loud cry of horror, and ran into the nursery, into Sunstream as she called for a report. "Su-Su-Sunstream, w-what are they?" This was one of those times when she wished her mother was with her, and didn't have to settle for second best. ----------------------------------
Redmist was instantly aware of what was going on. Crystalstar was pinned down by a badger, but Shadepaw went to help. Whitedawn was fighting his own battles, and the kits were safe. The ginger tom heave d a sigh of relief, but not for long. A badger rammed into him from behind, knocking the breath out of him and evidently smashing him against a tree. The RiverClan warrior was dazed for a while, leaving the badger to back up and charge. Quickly, he snapped out of his daze, and jumped out of the way just in time. The badger slammed into the tree, and fell to the ground. Redmist, staying calm, rammed his head into the male's stomach, then clawed at it's stomach, it was knocked out for a long time, but not dead.

((Guys - I love you. Redmist - I'd like you to run to ShadowClan when I say, kay? <3))
The badger was about to finish her off, but Shadepaw had come to the rescue, and for that, she was glad. "Thank you!" She yowled over the chaos, wriggling up to slash at a badger's eyes. It reared away, shaking it's bloodied head, and swollen eyes - her claws had hit their mark. Glancing around the camp, her silver eyes couldn't help but fill with worry, as her Clan was fighting. As the other badger that she it stumbled away, the leader gave a hiss at it's retreating frame, before making sure Shadepaw was fine. Dashing over with the speed of StarClan to Icestorm's side, taking a flying leap and landing square on the first one's spine. Grabbing as much of the black and white fur as she could, she yanked upwards, snarling. Blood flew everywhere, and the creature sprang up, clawing at Crystalstar. The lynx-like cat managed to leap over or duck under most of the blows, before being knocked off. A slash to the nose and it was enraged, the leader balancing on the edge of the water. An advantage we have that badgers don't... She thought, before leaping as it charged to her. The enraged beast stumbled awkwardly into the water, Crystalstar panting as she turned away, the roars growing silent. "Shadepaw! Sunstream! Whitedawn! Guard the nursery, elders, and kits! Redmist, Icestorm, we'll have to try and fend them off at the entrance. Stormfrost! Breezepaw! Stay with the kits and tend to the wounded! As needed, we can switch you out, Whitedawn, to subsitute so we won't get tired! And if you're pinned, yowl!" The frenzied organization shrieked to the heavens, the leader seizing the moment to organize her Clan the best. [/sup]

As Stormfrost ran back out of the medicine cat's den with a mouthful herbs, she heard Crystal calling out to the cats. "Shadepaw! Sunstream! Whitedawn! Guard the nursery, elders, and kits! Redmist, Icestorm, we'll have to try and fend them off at the entrance. Stormfrost! Breezepaw! Stay with the kits and tend to the wounded! As needed, we can switch you out, Whitedawn, to substitute so we won't get tired! And if you're pinned, yowl!" Stormfrost nodded at what Crystalstar had said and raced over to the nursery, placing her herbs down, so she could call into the clearing. "If any cat is injured bring them to the nursery." Stormfrost looked nervously in the nursery, her tail twitched back and fourth. She was waiting to see if any injuries would come up, though she was hoping they could get through the battle with no deaths.

Breezepaw carried two small branches in her teeth that had large swabs of cobweb on the ends of them. "Shadepaw! Sunstream! And if you're pinned, yowl!" she heard Crystalstar shout. Nodding briefly, she hurried over to the nursery. "Okay, Ribbonkit. You stay right there, okay? We don't want you getting hurt," she told the kitten after she had set the twigs down. --- Shadepaw jumped off the badger as it trampled off into the undergrowth. He snapped his head up as he heard his leader shout instructions to the Clan. Following his, he raced over to the nursery and soared onto the back of a badger that was nearby. He tried to get a pawhold in it's fur, but was only thrown off. He landed on his side with a gasp, but quickly scrambled up before the badger could do anything.
Shadepaw reared up on his hindlegs as the badger came towards him and slashed with all his might at the badger's face. His claws made contact with the monstrasaties nose, and this only enraged the beast. With fear, the gray tom watched as the badger charged towards him and knock him backwards on his back. Sucking in as much air as he could with the badger's paws on his chest, he yowled out, "Help!"

Ribbonkit looked up as he heard Breezepaw approach again for the second time, and told him, "Okay, Ribbonkit. You stay right there, okay? We don't want you getting hurt." With a slight whimper he replied, "Okay." He stood up and climbed out of his nest to stand next to Breezepaw. "Breezepaw?" he asked. "Why are the badgers attacking?" He may be a reasonable cat, but he couldn't figure out a reason for that.

He was a blur of snow, a blur of pure white as he sped toward the badger that had Shadepaw pinned. "Breath.." he murmured quietly, as he rose his paw to strike forward at the beast. Perfect!, he thought once again. As his paw hit the badger square in the chest. "Just.. Breath.." he repeated silently, as the badger reared backward. "Shadepaw!" he growled, his tone fierce, "Be careful.. Please, I don't want anyone dead." He told the apprentice, with a slight nod. Whitedawn stood at the nursery again, watching the fight happen, waiting for a call of help, or a badger to come for him.

Shadepaw scrambled up when the badger reared up off him. "Thanks, Whitedawn," he puffed out. He took deep breaths and let them out slowly to attempt to slow his breathing down. Once he caught it, he launched himself back into battle.
He landed squarely on a badger's head and was able to keep a pawhold as it shook its' head back and forth. Using his strength, he clawed the badger's face with his hindpaws. He didn't stop doing so till the badger squealed like a kit. He jumped off it only to land in front of another, more larder badger. 'Don't go getting yourself killed now, Shadepaw..' he thought to himself as he crouched and ran forward under the badger's body. 'You're in the perfect position to be squashed like a bug.' He flipped over, dug his claws into the badger's soft bellyfur then raked his hindpaws across its' belly.

Icestorm nodded quickly at Crystalstar's request after Crystal had helped her with the two badgers that had pinned her. Icestorm took one quick glance at the nursery before rushing over to the entrance. She watched as a badgers kept flooding into the camp. There are to many of them, she thought desperately. Icestorm was just about to throw herself at an oncoming badger, when she heard a cat yell, "Help!"
It had been Shadepaw. Icestorm glanced back quickly, ready to rush over and help her clan mate within a seconds notice. The badger had him pinned on his back with it's massive paw on top of him. She started rushing over, before even making the mental decision. She only got a few fox-lengths from where she started, when a mass of white fur came out of nowhere and hit the badger, knocking it off Shadepaw. She let out a sigh of relief, then turned back to the entrance of the camp.
Just as she turned, a badger landed on her. Icestorm bit it's massive paw and clawed at it's underbelly, forcing it off of her. She lunged at it catching only a tuft of fur as the creature dodged her. She growled at it, then took another lunge. Only this time she managed to find a spot were she could hang on. Icestorm sunk her teeth into the fur of the badger's neck, she gripped onto it's back and dug her claws into it, getting a good grip so she wouldn't fall. The creature began to shake her back and forth, trying to get her off, but Icestorm didn't release her grip.
