Redmist looked around the camp, there were badgers flying every where, cats chasing after them like mad men, it was a hysterical scene to behold. Suddenly, he heard his leader speak, and he pricked his ears to listen over the howling. 'Redmist, Icestorm, we'll have to try and fend them off at the entrance.' This is my chance, the ginger tom thought, I can shine. He breathed in deep, then shot forward, and by chance, into the stomach of a badger. He smiled darkly, and reared back on his hind legs. The badger had enough time to growl and shoot a claw forward, it grazed Redmist's stomach, leaving a thin cut, so no more blood than when you got a thorn in your paw. Bu plenty of hurt. It sent his stomach lurching, the paw that slammed into his side, it sent him flying a couple feet to the right, into Whitedawn. "Sorry, Whitedawn!" He yowled at the deputy, getting right off the ground and heading back at the badger. It had turned around, so he jumped on it's back and sliced it's neck open with his claws. Redmist shivered at the sight of the pooling blood, then turned away, to see the nursery. He edged toward it, growling, sub-consciously thinking about Arrowheart.

However, it did end up waking the poor young queen. She realized the commotion as soon as her eyes flickered awake and her immediate thought was that Horizonkit had gotten into mischief. But then the yowls of fierce passion that only came from war filled her heart with a pang and she peeked her head through the entrance of the nursery, thanking StarClan that no badger had found the hidden and strong den of protection.

"For now," the queen murmured, her voice cracking. She glanced back at her sleeping kit, a small bundle the size of a hedgehog, with pearl-white fur and auburn splotches. Horizonkit. . . the daughter of a loyal, practical RiverClan warrior with a fierce desire to serve her clan; and a tom with a bit too much adventure in his heart yet a loving and passionate strength. What was that a mixture for? Chaos. Or maybe good. If I'm lucky. The queen almost purred, but not quite.[/size][/ul][/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Lullabykit, good your here now stay here... I have to go get Ribbonkit... seriously, stay here." her voice was mother-like but stern, showing no sign of her fury and confusion. Her eyes turned to the entrance and she slowly padded up sniffing. Then she burst out and attacked an on coming badger that was about to ram the nursery. The force from her lead knocked over the badger and Sunstream had it pinned. It screamed in terror as Sunstream clawed its face and it managed to shake her off. But it ran out of the entrance. The tabby's lip was curled back as she growled(thats right growled.), watching the badger run away. Then she darted to where Breezepaw and Ribbonkit were. "I'll take him." she said to the confused apprentice. "You help your mentor, and stay safe." she said softly. Then she picked up Ribbonkit by the scruff and tossed him onto her back. "Hold on." she said as she coordinated a way to run back to the nursery.

Whitedawn nodded to Redmist's apology, and raced off toward
Sunstream in moments, his emerald eyes flickering to her, then to Lullabykit, "I'm sorry Lullabykit," he meowed, in a hurt tone, "I didn't mean to leave you.." he murmured, trying to keep him voice above the yowls. He dipped his head and quickly turned, next to Sunstream. "Sunstream!" he yowled, and nodded, "Please, be careful," he meowed, his voice was full of confidence, but fear as well. "I love you" he meowed, his emerald eyes gleaming in the light. With that, he stood his ground.

Everybody with your fists raised HIGH,
Lemme hear your battlecry tonight,
Stand aside, or step aside.
We're on the frontline!

[Horizonkit]

It was a very peaceful dream for the small kit. There were rolling hills with soft grass, and a bright blue sky above her. The kit laid on her back, pawing at a butterfly inches above her face, a joyful grin on her face. Then, all too suddenly, her dream went black. Horizonkit's head popped up at the loud din of noises that surrounded the kit, making the her multicolored eyes widen in fear. Adrenaline pulsed through her veins and, instinctively, the orange and white kit sprang up from her nest and ran outside of the nursery.

What met the kit there was far worse then she ever could have imagined. Horizonkit skidded to a halt in the middle of her panic stricken run as a black and white figure loomed over her. It let out a deafening growl and raised its paw. With a screech of terror, the small kit ducked under the monster and ran to the corner of the camp. She dodged around cats and monsters fighting each other, trying desperately not to be hit. The noises were too loud for her to hear anything, creating a swirl of confusion in the kit's mind.

Then, Horizonkit hit a dead end. She turned around to run back to the nursery, but the black and white monster was blocking the way, lumbering toward her with its teeth bared in a snarl. The small kit began to shake and her muscles froze in fear. Everything suddenly turned to mush in the kit's body, her mind and her body could pull itself out of the shock of the sudden change. However, instinctively, she still had enough of her mind to do one thing. "MAMA!!!!" She wailed, her eyes snapping shut. Horizonkit pressed herself against the hillside, bracing herself for impact.

[Erm....Horizonkit is not by the nursery....and I would like Arrow to go and get her, since they haven't had any bonding time yet.]



**And please don't kill every badger you "rp" with. I would like most of them to be "chased out of the camp", like it says in the plot description thread.**

Looking up from the battle, the RiverClan leader leapt onto another badger, just before Horizonkit cried out. Snapping her silver head to the source of the cry, the small silver lynx's eyes grew wide with horror, about to dash over when Redmist arrived. Leaping to his side, she looked at him. "There are too many, Redmist. You need to go to ShadowClan and ask for their help. Even now there are more coming!" A hint of panic that never showed in the cat glimmered now, but was quickly replaced by determination. "Go, Redmist! May StarClan grant you speed and strength!" She wasn't sure how he'd fare on the trek with his injuries, but he was the only one they could spare at the moment.

As three or four more badgers lumbered into camp, Crystalstar leaped elegantly to the front of the mammals like the River itself. Determination flashed in her eyes like the sun on the water. Her pelt rose and fell like the current. She was both elegant, graceful, and dangerous. She was the river. Even now, she felt StarClan behind her as the one cat stared down not four, but five badgers now. Her back arched, and her blood pounded in her ears. She was aware of every single cat in the camp, how much blood, how many injured. It had to end now, otherwise lives would surely be lost. Waiting for the badgers to take a few more steps, her tiny yet sharp claws extended, digging into the ground. Please StarClan - help me protect my Clan with all of my lives! Snarling, she exposed her pearly white teeth, and she rocketed forward, yowling fiercely. "FOR RIVERCLAN!"

Swiping a paw with many daggers over one's eyes, she leapt back, on her toes. She slipped in, scratching and biting, before leaping out of harm's reach. Even now the badgers forced her backwards, and the one leader pushed her fear, anxiety, pain, and exhaustion away, nipping at noses and swiping at paws. "RiverClan. Will. Not. Fall!" She grunted, yanking ears backwards and opening large gashes on flanks. Growling mightily, the brave cat kept fending them off, without hesitation, until a paw caught her side, opening a huge scratch. Fumbling on her right side, all of her weight quickly buckled, taking the weight on her left legs. Leaping forward with two legs, she aimed for a bite to the eye, but was swatted aside, more clawmarks littering her body. Snarling, Crystalstar aimed for the largest badger's shoulder, leaping too low, and with a horrific crack, her head connected with the badger's paw, sending her to StarClan to lose her first life.</sup>

Breezepaw nodded at Sunstream before turning back to her mentor. "Okay, Icestorm. What do I need to do?" she asked, her voice a bit shrill. This was her first time actually performing medicine cat duties other than the time she helped Arrowheart give birth. Back then, however, she had been a warrior apprentice, so it was a little different. Her aquamarine eyes stared intensley at her mentor as she waited for instructions.

Shadepaw clawed his way out from under the badger and continued clawing his way onto the badger's back. "RiverClan will prevail!" he snarled before he chomped down on the badger's ear. The badger beneath him yelped in pain before twisting its' massive head around to try and get its' jaws on a piece of Shadepaw. Before it could, however, the gray tabby apprentice jumped off its' back and landed nimbly behind it. He bit the badger's stubby hindleg and sent it off into the undergrowth.

Panting a bit, Shadepaw looked around the clearing. He saw his leader get her neck snapped and felt his blood run cold. Was that damage enough to kill her permanently? Or would she only loose a life? Whatever the answer, he didn't want her to be tampled by the badgers. Yowling for backup, Shadepaw launched himself to where he saw Crystalstar fall. He found his leader's body motionless, with several badger's advancing. He hissed through gritted teeth and launched himself at the closest badger.

[*~*Stormfrost*~*]

Stormfrost was near the nursery when her new apprentice asked her, "Okay, Icestorm. What do I need to do?" Stormfrost let out a soft laugh at the mixture that was starting to happen again. "It's Stormfrost, Breezepaw. My sister is a warrior." She explained, then continued. "We need to.." She was cut short by the load yowl of their leader. "FOR RIVERCLAN!" Stormfrost glanced around, making sure they had enough herbs ready. "Get ready, Breezepaw. This battle has only just begun." Stormfrost looked around the clearing seeing if any cats were being to stubborn to come in for medicine. She was about to turn around to go back into the nursery when she saw Crystalstar get hit by a badger. The badger's paw had gotten a direct blow to Crystalstar's head, snapping her neck. Stormfrost starred in horror as Crystalstar's body went limp. Stormfrost head slumped slightly, because she knew there was nothing she could do. She just lost one of her lives. Stormfrost shook her head, to clear it of her inability to help her leader.

[*~*Icestorm*~*]

Icestorm was at the entrance, trying to fight of a badger when Crystal shouted out, "FOR RIVERCLAN!" Icestorm caught a glance of Crystalstar hurling herself at the largest badger. Crystalstar leaped again, but the badger's paw connected with her head. Icestorm heard a small crunching sound, then saw her leader's limp body on the ground. She saw Shadepaw launch himself at where Crystalstar was now laying, with a snapped neck. He had yowled for back up, on his way over.

Without even stopping herself to think about it, Icestorm raced across the clearing to help Shadepaw. She saw Shadepaw launch himself at the closest badger to him. Icestorm raced over to his side, hurling herself at the next badger that got close. Her claws swiped it's ear as she dove underneath it, aiming to scratch it's underbelly.

Breezepaw smiled sheepishly as her mentor corrected her. "Sorry, Stormfrost.." she appologized. "Didn't mean to mix you two up; you just look so alike!" Her eyes glimmered slightly with embarressment as she listened to her mentor. She looked around just as Stormfrost had and sniffed at the small piles. With a sigh, she straightened back up. "We should've gotten more herbs.." she murmured.

Shadepaw struck out at the badger, only to catch a clump of its' fur. One of his claws got stuck in a knot, and, with a sharp tug, was pulled out. "ROWR!"

[/i] the apprentice spat, shaking his paw back-and-forth. Blood spattered from the wound, which only infuriated Shadepaw. He hissed again, sounding much like an adder, before striking out once more at the badger. This time, he made contact and clawed open a savage wound on its' eye.[/blockquote][/size]

Redmist growled at a near by badger that was pushing him more and more to the center of the camp, he bared his teeth and slashed at it's nose with an unsheathed for-paw, it squealed and closed it's eyes for a moment, blinded s blood splattered on it's eyes. Taking a chance, Redmist shoved his flank against the black-and-white creatures chest and pushed it toward the entrance, it slashed a massive paw at his chest, not a deep wound but one that drew plenty of blood, right before it knocked into another badger behind it, and ran off. Redmist grunted in satisfaction and shuffled backwards, suddenly surprised to see Crystalstar looking at him. 'There are too many, Redmist. You need to go to ShadowClan and ask for their help. Even now there are more coming!' Redmist stared at his leader in wild fear and fury, then looked around the camp, there were more badgers coming. And most of the cats were getting tired. There weren't enough RiverClan cats to hold out against their attackers. 'Go, Redmist! May StarClan grant you speed and strength!' The ginger tom nodded at his tabby leader, then shot off.

Sunstream streamed across camp just barley dodging flying teeth and claws. When she made it back to the nursery she was panting. She colapsed into a heap of ginger fur and set Ribbonkit on the ground. Then she stood back off and shook herself, like shaking off the fear. I"Ivorykit? Lullabykit? Horizonkit? Berrykit?" she searched for any of them. She spotted an orange and white queen getting up. "Ya missed out on most of the action Arrowheart!" just managing to get the words out.

Walking through the forest was a warrior peacefully enjoying himself. He had caught 3 mice and a ginormously huge water vole. He was big and strong and all the she-cat liked him. He waas the best warrior and everyone else was jealous. As he pranced through the woods suddenly it started to rain and thunder boomed. But he wasn't afraid he was a big tough warrior, but then he became the small little kit he was. A deep dark growl came from a nearby bush, and fear struck like lightning in the white spotted kit. Then a black and white HUGE figuere too fast to tell what it was, jumped out. It had the kit pinned and was going for his neck.

But then Berrykit woke up. He was about to squeak for his mama but he held it in. He wouldn't let the other kits think he was a sissy! So instead he opened his eyes and looked around for anyone else. Then momma burst through the entrance with Ribbonkit. He jumped up and then just noticed the screaming outside. "Mama wahats going on?!" he said toughly but not even he could hide the fear in his own voice.

"BERRYKIT!" she said and ran over to him licking her sons head. "Well the badgers are attacking. But sweetie all you need to worry about is yourself and your sister... where could she be do you know? She better not of wandered off because if she did, of is she did..." then she turned back towered her kit. "I'm getting off topic you'll be fine as long as you stay here ok so just stay here. Stay here or else. Just.... stay here." Then she turned around "Arrowheart, I will need you to help if a badger comes in ok? So get up, up up up." she had the 'its an emergancy' tone when she spoke.

Berrykit was still confused as his mom spoke only really listening to the "The badgers are attacking." So when she finished he just said, "Uhhh, ok whatever." Momma seemed so jumpy today. Wheres daddy... he thought to himself.

Sunstream turned away from Arrowheart and exited the nursery. "Whitedawn?" she screamed across camp searching for his familiar white pelt, or his emerald green eyes, anything of his. Her amber eyes searched the camp when suddenly her sight disapeared and she felt a surging pain in her eyes. She screamed in anger and fury as a badger pumbled her. Even blind Sunstream could be a deadly fighter, but you know, her fury blinded her... even more so. So instead she slashed out wildly as she screamed. "GET THE HECK OUT OF HERE, IM GONNA KILL YOU DUMB BADGERS! JUST LIKE, LEAVE US ALONE!!!!!" she slipped out from under the killer. If she hadn't been so mad he probably would of run but instead she charged back towered the badger, not positivel sure she was going the right way. But instead she had missed and it slammed a paw on her back making her loose her breath. "WHITEDAWN!" she screamed, as she inhaled wildly.

[Ivorykit]

Ivorykit ran towards camp. She was so tired from traveling around the forest. She was out exploring when she heard yowls coming from camp. Ivorykit's little legs were shaking with excitement and fear. She wondered what was going on at the camp. Finally when she got to the enterence, she could smell badgers. Oh no! The young kit ran into camp and almost got trampled by all of the badgers and cats fighting. "Momma! Momma where are you?!" She yelled, running around camp. She spotted the nursery and started running towards it but a badger jumped in front of her. "Momma help!" She yowled.

Ribbonkit squeaked as Sunstream picked him up and set him on her back. 'Hold on,' she told him. He gripped his paws into her fur, being careful not to claw her. He let out a soft huff when she set him down. "Sorry, Sunstream," he panted before she could speak. When she did, she just cried out, 'Ivorykit? Lullabykit? Horizonkit? Berrykit?' Ribbonkit screwed up his face in aggitation. Must be more worried about the other kits, he thought before he padded over to his nest.

As Ribbonkit flopped down on the collection of moss and feathers, he heard a cat yowl out 'Mama wahats going on?!' from a nest beside him. Berrykit, he thought with a sigh. Of course. Snoozin' while the rest of the camp is in danger. He snorted with aggitation as he set his muzzle down on his paws and closed his eyes. Images flashed before him. Badgers. His parents. Massive claws raking through flesh. And blood. Lots of blood.

Ribbonkit sat up with a start. "Mother!" he cried out in fear. Then he felt his ears burn red with embarressment. Did I really say that out loud? he wondered. Oh, who cares? What's it matter? He was about to set his muzzle back down on his paws when he heard a desperate yowl. 'Momma help!' He stood up instantly. That's Ivorykit, he thought to himself. I've gotta help. Or at least find help.

Mind whirling, Ribbonkit shot back out of the nursery. "It's not Momma, but it'll have to do for now!" he hissed under his breath as he catapalted himself onto the badger's back.
