Flamestar looked at Dawnfeather carefully, and saw knowledge flash in her eyes. She understood where Brackenpaw had went. He quickly turned back to Lightwhisper, who was lying on the ground, and waited till the warrior would speak again. He need the medicine cat. Now!
Willowbreeze continued clawing at a badger's face, suddenly realizing how serious the problems was. It's probably been a long time since the battle had started, it looked like it has been days because of the way the camp was ravaged, but there were still a big amout of badgers here attacking innocent cats. Willowbreeze felt disgust well up inside her, and she screeched as she hit the badger, her claws out. Blood spurted everywhere. The badger cried out in fury and charged at the gray she-cat with all its might. Willowbreeze fell back thumping against the ground. She felt a huge pain in her hind leg. She got up and hit the badger again, and again, till it went away. She crumpled down after trying to see what was wrong with her leg.

Lightwhisper snarled defiantly as Dawnfeather offered to take her to the nursery. "I'm still capable of fighting, thank you!" she growled, staring at the shape that carried Dawnfeather's scent. She climbed to her paws and looked over at whom she figured to be Flamestar. "I may become an elder once my kit is apprenticed, but I'll fight for now." Her words were confident and her voice was set. Her now-blind eyes stared at her leader with blank determination. She had made up her mind; she was going to fight.

Lightpaw struggled to stay on as the badger threw around its massive head. She clawed up its face, taking care to stab its eyes with her claws, and twisted onto its back, turning the same way it was. The monster halted for a heartbeat, seemingly wondering where the midget that had been attacking it went; this gave Lightpaw just enough time to sink her back claws in the badger's spine, right on the shoulders. Ignoring the growing pain in her right paw, she began to rake her front claws across the badger's eyes, blinding it at last. The cream-pelted she-cat held on tight and continued her destructive attack on the beast's head as it careened about the camp, colliding with other badgers. It then suddenly squared its shoulders and began to claw its neck; the young she-cat was batted off by a massive paw and landed in the dust a few cat-lengths away. She rolled away just in time to avoid another passing badger's feet, and limped back to a position not far away from her badger, now tripping over itself blindly.

"I'm still capable of fighting, thank you!" Lightwhisper growled at her. "I may become an elder once my kit is apprenticed, but I'll fight for now." Dawnfeather looked at Lightwhisper and meowed. "You may be capable of fighting, but do you want to get yourself hurt? What will happen to your kit if something happens to you?" She tried to persuade Lightwhisper. She cast a quick glance at the nursery, then at Flamestar. Dawnfeather looked away quickly then launched herself at the nearest badger.

Flamestar sighed. He knew before that when Lighwhisper would wake up, she wold still fight. ''As you wish... But think of it first, I don't want you to get hurt again...'' he meowed warmly. ''But could, you please get some herbs to put on your eyes, you have to heal, and you have to get started now.'' the leader continued. he wished that Lightwhisper would go rest. But he couldn't stop her, it was her choice. He just hoped she thought about it wisely before jumping back in battle.

Silkheart groaned. Her leg was starting to feel numb. It was still painful though. Silkheart glanced at Lightwhisper. She still wanted to fight but she needed to heal quickly. Thank StarClan that ThunderClan was almost there. Silkheart stood up and started walking towards the badger that almost trampled Lightpaw. "I'll be back." She meowed to Flamestar. Silkheart started running towards the badger. Silkheart launched herself onto it's back and began clawing and biting it's spine. Luckily this was a small badger so it could not do much to her. The badger yowled and ran out of the camp, covered in blood. Silkheart landed on the hard ground.

Lightwhisper listened quietly as Flamestar asked her to put herbs on her eye to help it heal. She wanted to say something, but she just bit her tongue and nodded. She turned to Dawnfeather. "If I die--and don't you say I wont, 'cause I could--would you look after Sandkit?" she asked quietly. She was gonna put some medicinal herbs on her eyes then fight. That was the plan--medicate then fight. She was determined to rid her camp of the badgers, almost as determined as she was to rid her eye of any infection that could've already set in.

"If I die--and don't you say I wont, 'cause I could--would you look after Sandkit? Lightwhisper asked Dawnfeather. Dawnfeather looked at her. She nodded slight, "If anything happens I will. But be careful, for your kit." She said softly to Lightwhisper. She looked at Flamestar, waiting to see if there was something that needed to be done.

The badger bumped into other monsters, getting a supplementary claw or bite each time. Lightpaw's gaze flickered to Brakenpaw, still fighting his badger, then back to her blind badger. The beast, having caugh her scent, had slwoly turned and was now advancing on her, anger and vengeance etched in every one of its features. Lightpaw was suddenly frozen in spot; this beast had feelings. The world stopped around her. It... he has emotions. He hates me. I blinded him... strange thoughts unravelled in her mind. Maybe he has family... a mate... Her gaze flickered automatically to Brakenpaw. She caught his eye as he raked his claws along his own badger's shoulder. This contact seemed to electrify the cream-pelted apprentice; Lightpaw shook herself up and leapt on her beast as it galloped past, swinging herself onto its neck with her good paws and clawing, biting, tearing at its flank with all her might. This was the enemy, no matter who it was.

Flamestar looked at Dawnfeather, slowly shaking his head, ''There's nothing more to do except fight'' he whispered. He looked at the she-cat sadly before racing after a badger that was wandering around the nurser. It wasn't acceptable. He pounced on its back tearing at its hind legs. The badger let out a bloodcurdling shriek, turning aroud, looking at the Windclan leader, with its murderous amber eyes. The monster swung out a paw at Flamestar's belly, sending pain seering through him. The orange colored cat reared and swung out an aching paw towards the badgers eyes. It reared, with blood spurting everywhere. Flamestar had blinded it. It deserves it, he thought viciously. Then the leader collapsed on the bloodied ground, aand looked at his belly. Blood was still leaking out, he would be okay. He knew it. But he needed a medicine cat now. Where were the medicine cats when you needed them. Flamestar remembered the old medicine cat, Speckledfeather, the one he had fallen in love with, and that was pregnant with his kits, but was gone now.
Flamestar shook his head getting rid of those sad thoughts. It wasn't the time now to mourn now. It was time to fight. But where was Amberleaf. I hope she isn't hurt, he thought. he looked around the clearing where many cats, Thunderclan and Windclan, were still battling those awful badgers. He knew that time would come where everything would be peaceful again but for now it wasn't and Flamestar stood up and limped around a bit he spotted Dawnfeather again. ''Have you seen Amberleaf yet'' he asked, lying down again, standing up caused him pain in his belly. He hoped blood wasn't still leaking out of his wound.

Silkheart looked around when she could and saw that Flamestar was hurt. She turned back to her hideous, blood-covered badger and jumped onto it's back. The badger yowled as the deputy dug her claws into it's back and bit down on it's neck. She jumped off the badger as it hurled itself out of the camp. "And good ridance..." Silkheart growled. The pain was getting to her and quick. I'm going to check on Flamestar then look for Amberleaf to see if she had any herbs left to help my pain. Then I will fight again. She told herself. Silkheart limped over to Flamestar. She could see the crimson red blood covering his belly. "Flamestar, are you okay? The badgers are taking a beating but I don't know if they are going to give up yet." Silkheart panted. She felt as if she might pass out right there and then. She sat down and glanced around her. The cats were fighting as fierce as they could. She felt horrible at how her leg was keeping her from helping all of the other cats. Silkheart turned back to Flamestar. awaiting his answer.
