Plot Patrol (WindClan Warriors!)

[Brackenpaw]

"Silkheart!," Brackenpaw yelped. He let out a fierce growl and lashed out at the badger in front of him. "Get out of my way!," He growled, leaping onto the badger's back. The badger let out a snarl and turned, trying to reach the cat upon it's back. Luckly, Brackenpaw was just out of reach from the snapping jaws. The apprentice let out a hate filled growl and lashed out at the badger's eyes. It let out a painful shrick and stumbled backwards.

Brackenpaw jumped off the badger and ran back to Lightpaw, standing in front of his fallen comrade defensively. The badger gave one painful roar in the direction of the cat before retreating to the mountains. "And don't come back!," He shouted, letting out a victory yowl. The apprentice turned back to Lightpaw, with concerned eyes. "Lightpaw!," He meowed urgently. "This is no time for a nap! Get up!"

[Lightpaw]

Lightpaw heard the faint yowls of Brakenpaw, and then the horrid screeching of badgers broke through the darkness clogging her crain. Her eyes flew open, she yelped and rolled over as two huge paws crashed down where she had been lying half a heartbeat before. Her head swam as she leapt up, but a battle was raging here; she couldn't let her Clan down.
As Lightpaw glimpsed the corpse of the bagder she had been battling earlier, a light seem to flick on in her head.
"Silkheart! Flamestar! Brakenpaw! AIM FOR THE THROAT!!" she yowled.

Silkheart was greatful to see that Lightpaw was awake. "Lightpaw, can you fight?" Silkheart jumped ontop of a badger and, as Lightpaw said, got a hold of the badger and took a bite out of its throat. The large badger let out a yowl and took off into the bushes.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw let out a yowl of triumph. Only one badger left... He thought, watching the other badger flee into the bushes. The apprentice nodded to Lightpaw before darting towards the remaining badger. He let out a angry growl and lept onto the badger's back, bitting down upon it's shoulder. The badger let out an painful roar and lashed out at the cat with an enormous paw.

Brackenpaw let out a yelp as the badger's claws cut into his side and slammed him into the ground. The apprentice tried to get to his paws, but collapsed to the ground with a small whimper as an unimaginable amount of pain shot through his body. This is it... He thought, as he felt the badger's giant paw steps advance towards him. Brackenpaw just closed his eyes, praying to StarClan to make his death quick and painless.

[Silkheart<3]

Silkheart saw Brackenpaw with a giant badger. She watched it slam him into the ground. As it crept up to him, Silkheart darted to it and grabbed its neck with her mouth and flipped onto it. They were tumbling down a hill. Please, StarClan, help me. Save me from the river. Stop me before I get there. Silkheart shut her eyes, praying that everybody was ok. Suddenly, they stopped rolling. Silkheart's paw was stuck under the unconcious badger. She could not feel her paw. The pain was shooting up her leg. She let out a loud meow for help.

[Lightpaw]

Lightpaw felt her whole body shudder and she closed her eyes. She sent a prayer to StarClan with her mind, so hard that her head throbbed with the effort.
Then she plunged down the slope.
With a wild yowl, she rolled into the badger's unconcious body with such force that it just flipped over the edge of a precipice, freeing Silkheart's paw.
The young apprentice felt dazed and disoriented as she got up shakedly, but her head cleared at once when she heard the pure pain of the gasp that the deputy let out. She rushed to Silkheart's side and started to inspect quietly the deputy's broken body, making sure she didn't move or touch her. Lightpaw's frequent trips to the medicine cat's den had taught her useful things about medicine, and she instantly saw that Silkheart's paw had been crushed and a few ribs broken.
StarClan, for the love of this cat, I pray that her paw can be saved.
Without a word, and as quick as lightning, Lightpaw took off to the medicine cat's den.

Silkheart tried to get up but fell back down in pain. Silkheart let out a painfuly sounding meow. She watched Lightpaw dash off towards the camp. StarClan, help Lightpaw find Speckledfeather.

[Flamestar]

Flamestar gasped as he saw Silkheart, his deputy, hurt. He quicly clawed his badger till it turned away running and ran to Silkheart. "Are you okay" he asked. Oh lightpaw, be quick. He turned to see a badger approaching him. Flamestar pounced on its back clawing and tearing at its fur hoping to distract it till Lightpaw came back.

"I don't think so." Silkheart tried to get up again but she just fell down again. Why? Why StarClan? Silkheart looked at Flamestar fighting off a badger. Why now? Silkheart tried to get up again but it was no use. She fell back down again.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw's eyes shot open as the deputy toppled over the side of the slope. "No..." He breathed, struggling to get to his paws. His legs couldn't hold him as he collapsed back to the ground. The apprentice let out a pain filled hiss and staggered back on one leg as he dragged himself towards the top of the slope.

Brackenpaw's leg gave out and he layed still at the top of the slope. Daring to take a look, his green eyes wandered to the bottom of the slope. The apprentice turned his head away and let out a muffled sob. It's all my fault... He thought, beginning to sob uncontrollably. "I'm so sorry..." He cried, burying his matted face into his paws.

[Silkheart<3]

"Don't be sorry. It's not your fault. It's the badgers." Silkheart looked up at the apprentice. She was looking at him with her grassy green eyes. She felt so bad for him. An apprentice shouldn't have to go through that pain yet. She tried to drag herself up the slope. She slowly and painfully crawled up the slope and made it to Brackenpaw's side. Silkheart let out a painful sigh. She gave Brackenpaw a lick on the face. "Are you ok?"

[Brackenpaw]

"I've been better..." Brackenpaw mumbled, looking over to the deputy. The apprentice winced as his side gave another surge of pain. He looked down to Silkheart's paw and gave a meek growl. "You shouldn't...have moved..." He commented, his green eyes glazed with pain and sorrow. Brackenpaw frowned and looked down at the ground, letting out a defeated sigh. "This is all my fault...I should have been able to stop it..."

Silkheart looked at Brackenpaw. He was devistated. She could feel the pain in his eyes. "It is not your fault. It's mine. I shouldn't have left you with Lightpaw alone. There were so many badgers........." Silkheart tried to hold back the tears. She put her head on Brackenpaws back, trying not to hurt him. "I'm so sorry."

[Brackenpaw]

The apprentice let out an angry scoff. "Lightpaw was on his paws when the badger attacked me," Brackenpaw sighed, still looking at the ground with solemn eyes. "If I had been thinking and paid attention, you wouldn't me hurt and neither would I..." He looked up at the pale sky, his head swimming in failure. So much for training... He thought, I was about as useless as a kittypet...

[Flamestar]

Flamestar heard the conversation, between Brackenpaw and Silkheart as he was fighting off the badger, ''It's not your fault, Brackenpaw, it was bound to happen and you're fighting great'' he yowled hoping to be heard over the badger's furious growls. He swiped the badger on the nose with such a vicious blow that blood was sent splattering on his fur. ''Go away'' he growled to the badger, though knowing that it would not understand him. He bit the black and white creature very hard on the shoulder and the badger cried out and threw him off far into Silkheart, ''Sorry, Silkheart'' he murmured and tried to get up as the badger approached them, but he collapsed. His leg hurt a lot. Flamestar dragged himself up and tried to limp towards the snarling animal. He clawed at it but his mouvements were becoming slower and slower and the pain of his leg made him cry out ''Oh, Starclan, help me''. As Flamestar fell in front of the badger he bit hard in the creature's leg. The badger cried out and snarled looking down at the hurt leader. He raised his paw to make a vicious swipe. Flamestar braced himself. Starclan help!
