Plot Patrol (WindClan Warriors!)

[Silkheart<3]

SilkHeart walked out of the camp leading the patrol. SilkHeart had just became deputy and was supposedly doing a good job. The deputy paded across the forest floor smelling the air for a scent of anything. "Do any of you sme..." Suddenly, she caught a scent. "It's badgers. Hurry, let's go!" SilkHeart scurried across the ground, following the trail.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw's eyes widened in fear. Badgers!? Here! The apprentice speed after the deputy, his heart thuding in his chest. "Are the close to the borders or the camp?" He called, trailing behind the deputy. He didn't want anyone at camp to get hurt....or anyone from another clan for that matter.

[Silkheart<3]

SilkHeart heard someone running towards her.
"Are the close to the borders or the camp?"
SilkHeart looked behind her and said,
"They are definentialy inside the borders. BrackenPaw, I want you to warn the Clan that there are badgers in the area. Tell FlameStar that I sent you and want him to not let any kits and apprentices out of the camp without a warrior. Also, tell him to send another patrol out. These badgers smell big."
SilkHeart started walking, following the scent of the badgers.
Really big.
SilkHeart said to herself.
"Come. We must find them and try to scare them off before they find their way to the camp. We don't want to lose any kits."
SilkHeart sighed.
Off to scare the devils of the forest.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw nodded hastilily and swerved off in the direction the camp. Part of him wanted to argue with the deputy, staying by herself was a very bad idea, exspecailly if there were really large badgers in the territory. But Silkheart did have a point, the clan needed to be warned, and re-enforcements needed to be sent out. The apprentice's paws pounded quicker against the moor ground. The sooner he warned Flamestar, the sooner he could come back to help Silkheart.

[Silkheart<3]

SilkHeart tried not to panic but this was scaring her. She had just become deputy and did not want to screw up. She was debating on whether to go find the little devels or wait for re-enforcements. SilkHeart paced back and forth,
Wait or don't wait, wait or don't wait.
SilkHeart had finally made her desicion.
O.K. I'm going to go and find the badgers. Then I will wait for re-enforcements to find me.
SilkHeart knew this was very risky, but she had a feeling in her stomach that if she didn't go find them and keep them in her sight, some kits might be gone. SilkHeart started running, following the scent of the badgers. She prayed to StarClan that she would be ok.

[Lightpaw]

A lithe shape seem to be shadowing Silkheart's moves as she raced through the tall grass. The shape was so light-footed and so fast that it seemed to be the wind's illusion; on and on the shape bounded, barely noticeable through the green brush, following Silkheart through her course towards fate...

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw slowed down to a swift pace right beside Silkheart. "I talked to Flamestar," He answered in a low voice. "Re-enforcements should be here any minute." The apprentice looked up to Silkheart, his green eyes lit with the sudden realization of the situation. This was no training session....it was the real deal. And if he screwed up this time- the apprentice shivered at the thought. "Have you seen anything yet?," He asked, trying to keep his voice level.

[Silkheart<3]

SilkHeart saw that BrackenPaw was coming so she slowed down a little.
"I talked to Flamestar. Re-enforcements should be here any minute."
SilkHeart looked at BrackenPaw. She was glad that re-enforcements were coming.
"Good."
"Have you seen anything yet?"
SilkHeart looked away and smelled the air.
"No I have not but I did hear many things."
SilkHeart looked at BrackenPaw. She had a worried look in her face. Suddenly she heard something.
"Oh no."
She pushed BrackenPaw out of the way of a badger. She jumped onto the badger, pinning it down.
"They found us. Help me til re-enforcements get here!"
She hissed at BrackenPaw.
"Hurry!"

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw's stomach lurched as he looked up at the giant badger Silkheart as attempting to pin down. The apprentice quickly rolled back onto his paws and darted towards the badger, his green eyes narrowed. He jumped upon the badger's back with Silkheart and bit down upon the badger's shoulder, letting out a feirce growl. The badger let out a hateful roar and stood on it's hind legs, trying to shake the cats off its back.

[Lightpaw]

Lightpaw acted then as quick as lightning. As the badger wheeled into the air, she leapt for its throat, and with a fierce battle cry, her teeth sinked deep into the huge beast's jugular.
Blood swelled from the gash and was drowning the apprentice as it bubble into her jaws, but she held on, and swung her hind legs to sink her hind claws into the badger's throat.
If she tore a gash big enough, this badger was dead in a heartbeat.
But now the beast was swinging its head wildly, and the little apprentice realised she couldn't stay on much longer...
Lightpaw was thrown away and landed with a loud thud onto the ground. She heard a sinister cracking noise and pain shot through her flank. The apprentice was vaguely aware of a loud snarl escaping the badger's throat, and then darkness covered the scene as Lightpaw sank into unconciousness.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw was thrown aside and landed on the ground with a loud thud. He shook it off and quickly got to his paws, but it was a little to late. He watched in horror as Lightpaw was sent flying off the badger, landing on the ground with a sickening thud. "Lightpaw!," He yelped, running over to the apprentice. "Are you ok?!"

SilkHeart was trying to be calm. "Please, oh please. StarClan, guide the back-up to us. Hurry." SilkHeart meowed quietly. She heard BrackenPaw over by LightPaw. SilkHeart raced over to them. "BrackenPaw, try to wake up LightPaw. I will protect you. Until back-up gets here, we are stuck fending for ourselves." SilkHeart looked into the apprentices green eyes. She turned around and hissed at a large badger staring at her with its piercing eyes. "Come and get me."

[Flamestar]

Flmaestar dashed into the clearing, immediately seeing his apprentice lying unconscious. Starclan help!! He glanced at Lightpaw once more seeing that she was being cared for and quickly pounced on the badger closest to Silkheart. He landed on its back and clung to it as it tried to shake him off. After a few moments, he was thrown off. He quickly got off and tried to ignore the vicious pain in his shoulder. He limped quickly to the badger and clawed his face causing blood to spary from his nose and for him to youwl in pain. Goog! he thought. He prepared himself to land another couple of good vicious blows.

[Brackenpaw]

Brackenpaw let out a small sigh of relief as Flamestar burst into the scene. Thank StarClan... He thought, greatfully. The apprentice looked back down to Lightpaw with a worried glance. He couldn't protect him and fight off badgers....could he? "Lightpaw!," He urged, as he watched the fighting go on. "Come on! Get up!" He turned around as the second badger advanced towards them. Brackenpaw let out a fierce growl and lashed out at the badger's face. "Get back!," He spat hatefully, his green eyes livid.

"Thank StarClan. Your here FlameStar. Are more cats coming?" SilkHeart looked at her leader, watching his back. She jumped onto another badger, biting into the flesh on its neck. She let out a yowl as another badger jumped onto her back. It scratched her back, blood streaming down her sides. SilkHeart let go of the badger under her, trying to shake off the badger on her back. It wouldn't budge. "Help!"
